This review is long overdue. Last year I was in a hunt for a local roaster to start shopping locally instead of the online subscriptions. I am glad to stumble upon this gem of a family owned shop. Been coming here since December as I really loved all the different roasts that I have tried. But the best part is how they treat their customers. Last May I dropped by late in the afternoon past 5 PM knowing they closed at 4 PM. I was just trying my luck hoping they will let me grab a bag. I felt bad as they were already closed for the day but Jason and Robyn didn't hesitate to unlock the doors and allow me to buy a bag of my favorite beans "Chiapas" even when the cash register is already turned off. As always the beans were freshly roasted. The shop features ample seating if you elect to dine in. But because this place is well loved in the community, it can get packed, a good sign of well run coffee shop . Great ambiance and all around great vibes. My office decided to shop local and try something new so we opted for Hush. My coworker went to pick up our drinks, and mine was an iced matcha latte with brown sugar syrup and vanilla cold foam, no ice because I have sensitive teeth and I like my matchas creamy too. Noticed that there was significant room in my cup when it finally arrived and you can't tell me it's the cold foam "melting", the baristas intentionally failed to fill my cup, apparently because I ordered no ice. As you can see, I didn't drink out of it prior to the picture else there would be foam on the side and lid. Aside from my cup being short; my matcha didn't taste like it had brown sugar in it either All I can say, is that we scratched this off our list of local coffee shops to try and won't be returning. read more

I really like this coffee shop! I got the caramel cold brew 1/4 sweet and it was perfection. We also got a chocolate cookie cold brew and it was delish. It's spacious inside with tables and big chairs that are cozy. The baked goods looked so tasty but we didn't get them. I want to go back for the olive oil cake! read more

Drinks were well made, flavors were on point, and everything came out quick. No complaints at all on quality. That said, the overall vibe just wasn't for me. The shop leans heavily into a Christian theme, and when I was there it felt more like a full-on Bible study environment than a casual coffee spot. Totally fine if that's what you're looking for, but it caught me off guard a bit. There was also a group of Incels nearby having a pretty intense conversation around religion and politics that made the atmosphere feel a little uncomfortable and hard to relax in. I stopped by Hush Coffee Roasters with a friend and honestly didn't expect much -- just wanted coffee and a quick breakfast. Turned out to be one of those spots that quietly surprises you. The place itself feels calm right away. Clean interior, soft music, plenty of light. Nothing loud or chaotic -- just a relaxed morning coffee atmosphere. They open early (6am) and it definitely feels like a breakfast-focused place. My friend actually ordered the food, so I still don't know the exact name of the dish. But it looked wild in the best way. Imagine a breakfast sandwich... except instead of bread they use egg. Inside there was turkey, a little bacon, cheese, and this incredible sauce drizzled all over it. That sauce honestly made the whole dish. It tasted like some kind of mustard-based house sauce, but not straight mustard. Something smoother, slightly sweet, and really balanced. I also tried the iced maple espresso and that drink alone is worth mentioning. Smooth, not overly sweet, and actually refreshing. Small moment that stood out: I first asked to sit outside. The employee brought the food out there without hesitation. A few minutes later it got a little hot in the sun, so I asked if we could move inside instead. No problem at all -- he picked everything up and moved it inside for us with a smile. Little things like that matter. Total for two people came out to $43, which honestly feels completely normal for California -- especially for fresh, clean breakfast food like this. Good atmosphere. Friendly staff. Great food. Found Hush Coffee Roasters when looking for a coffee place near a hospital we were visiting. There was no one in there when we went around 1 pm, and we walked in to an empty cafe. It's a really cute environment with plenty of seating and a clean atmosphere. Price is on par with other coffee places. We spoke with the guy behind the counter and he might've been a manager or owner? But really nice and helped me decide on what to get. We got a salted honey cream, I told them easy on the cream, a vanilla latte, and a chocolate covered banana. We all agreed the coffee was delicious and very smooth. Hush Coffee Roasters in Murrieta is such a gem. I popped in on a Saturday and immediately felt right at home. The vibe in here is so good, lots of natural light coming through the windows, plenty of seating, and just a really cozy relaxed feel you won't find in other coffee shops. The staff were super friendly and welcoming from the moment I walked in. I got the Iced Matcha Latte with oat milk and the Deviled Egg Toast, and both were so good. Everything got brought right to my table after I ordered at the counter which was nice. The matcha was light and refreshing and the toast was seasoned perfectly, not bland, not too salty, just right. I also have a pretty sensitive stomach and I felt totally fine afterwards which says a lot. They use clean seed oil free ingredients and you can really tell the difference. Oh and they roast their own coffee beans in house and sell bags to take home too which is cool. Honestly just an all around great spot. Very cute and clean coffee shop. I wanted to try their matcha latte, which was ok. You can tell the quality of the drink just by the color and I typically prefer a more matcha forward drink. I did appreciate that it's not already sweetened and you can ask to customize that. Their other coffee drinks looked really good though so I might stick that next time. The hot food they offered was good if you wanted a light breakfast or snack. They also had baked goods which I might want to try the next time as well. When I received it I was confused why there was separation in the drink. I was told that they use oat milk made of just oats, water, sea salt and vanilla bean- No seed oils "won't cause inflammation". Never in my life have I wanted seed oils so badly! The latte was ruined and I paid $8 for this. I wish I would have been told what kind of oat milk they use before hand. I would have ordered something completely different. The space is big and clean. This is the first time I have ever been here. I love the bible quotes on the sweaters. I got the avocado toast with ricotta. It was so creamy and perfectly fluffed. The honey is super sweet, I loved that they put the perfect amount of drizzle so that it's not overly saturated. There's a good amount of salt on top for a perfect balance. I had the vanilla latte, it was good but I do prefer it a little more strong, so next time I will order extra shots of expresso. It's a small, family-owned coffee shop and roaster. Layout is open and spacious with Bible verses written on the wall. Price is somewhat high on its drinks. Standard coffee drinks are similar to other places but its specialty/signature drinks are mostly around $7.50-$8.00. Price for its whole beans are reasonable. Baklava Breve (basically a pistachio latte) was pretty good, and so was its Americano. The chocolate chip cookie was excellent. Not sure if this place makes them in-house, but they tasted fresh. It had some coarse sea salt sprinkled on top, which made quite a difference. It inspired me to bake my own cookies at home this way. I got a bag of its single origin Chiapas beans, and they are excellent. I made some great pour overs at home with these beans. It's about medium to dark roast so the flavor is robust with hints of chocolate, brown butter, caramel, and raisin. Since I don't live around this area, I will need to get about two bags of these beans next time I'm out here. read more

The shop is gorgeously decorated with tile, wood, and leather combining into a modern and laid back aesthetic. It's also ADA friendly. You'll place orders at the counter. Then be seated if eating in. Ordered the Carmel Cove coffee both hot and iced. It was delicious both ways with hits of salt at the end. The Carmel flavor was just right! There were several other options that also looked yummy. When it comes to food, Hush is all-in on clean, organic offerings! No seed oils here. (Love to see that!) Came down to Hush on a Saturday morning and found the inside to very welcoming and laid back. I was on the hunt for a new seasonal drink at a local coffee shop and decided to make my way to Hush to try their Gingerbread Breve. I always get my iced lattes with half and half and found it nice that they added it to their line up. I ordered it was an extra shot, which is my normal go to at most coffee shops (Triple Espresso). I found the pricing to be pretty up there compared to other shops ($19 total for two). To be honest the first couple of sips I was disappointed. The drink really didn't stand out to me, nothing worth saying wow I'll come back for it. I do like that it was strong and could taste the espresso. The drink eventually grew on me after letting it sit for a bit. Again, it was okay. The ambiance is absolutely amazing- so calming, beautiful and just bright. The service was wonderful and they were patient, making recommendations as it was our first time in. The treats (we got the sea salt chocolate chip cookie, coffee cake and cherry scone) were amazing! So fresh and flavorful. The sourdough everything bagel was light, fluffy, and the perfect texture and my daughter loved her turkey and egg sandwich. We also got 3 iced coffees, which I will admit, were a bit strong for my liking, but the teens enjoyed it. I really enjoy visiting this coffee shop. The owners Jason and Robin are very welcoming and so are all the staff. They have a large open floor plan with plenty of great lighting and space for you to hang out with friends or do some work. The food is delicious. I had the egg salad on toast on one visit and then on a bagel the next visit. I tried the salted chocolate chip cookie and that was amazing. Definitely one of my favorite coffee shops in the area.
