This is the HAUTE spot in Temecula for breakfast or lunch. A very comfortable well appointed facility, which is only getting better when their beer and wine license goes through. There's plenty of outdoor/indoor seating . The pastries are the BEST that I've had in the Temecula area and the staff is always quite charming and lovely. And the crêpes?-simply divine! On my last visit, I had a pistachio croissant and today I had a wonderful "crepe au sucre" with their homemade crème fraîche that was out of this world! Every dish that was flying out of the kitchen was expertly plated and simply gorgeous and desirable. The Cortado is very good as well. They were pretty much out of pastries, but they did have some delicious looking butter croissants. I saw one girl coming out of there with Ginny's hot chocolate that looked so delicious. The latte was wonderfully rich with a pure coffee flavor, which I truly appreciated. Food came out fairly quickly and they bring everything to your table. I will say it is kinda pricey considering the portion sizes of the actual hot food items, but the food is good. Their baked goods were solid as well. Their cinnamon roll isn't your typical cinnamon roll with a ton of frosting on top so if you're looking for that - this isn't the place. They brought our breakfast dishes and we told them we also ordered an apple turnover the waitress said ok & walk away. We waited and several minutes and several servers passed by and no apple turnover. I've been coming to this restaurant for several years because the food is genuinely excellent. If this review were based solely on the quality of the breakfast, I'd gladly give it five stars. Unfortunately, the service has consistently been the opposite. For years I've avoided leaving a negative review, hoping things would improve, but they haven't. The staff has repeatedly come across as rude, dismissive, impatient, and unnecessarily aggressive. As a paying customer, I expect to be treated with basic courtesy, and that has too often been missing. What has been most disappointing is that, as a person of color, I've left on more than one occasion feeling that I was treated differently than other customers. Whether intentional or not, that perception matters, and it has made what should be an enjoyable dining experience feel uncomfortable. Seeing signs stating that the business is not racist only made me wonder why they felt the need to post them in the first place. I continue to return because I truly enjoy the food, but great food doesn't excuse poor customer service. Management needs to invest as much effort into creating a welcoming, respectful environment as they do into their menu. I sincerely hope they address these issues because this restaurant has the potential to be exceptional. read more

I loved the texture and small crunch from the sugar, with a vanilla bean cream and lemon topping to cut through the sweetness. Simple, yet divine and executed well 5/5. Their Pistachio Matcha Tea Latte was to die for!!! First time I came here with my friend and didn't like the feel of things and it seemed like the setup (layout) of things was not what we felt up for so we left. Today, my husband and I came here because deep down I wondered about this place since they have good ratings. Basically, we ordered the food at the counter at one unit and we sat indoor two units down. It's awkward because it's not all together one unit. And when I need more coffee I step outside and walk two doors down to my left and refill my coffee myself. It's not convenient and relaxing. I want someone to serve me coffee and maybe get more napkins from them but nope. So basically, they bring me my food and take away my empty plate...very minimal service. For 11 days in a row I went here for morning croissants and lattes during the election cycle. Thanks to a Yelp search and enticing photos I knew this was the real deal, and it definitely is across the board! First, I want to thank each and every employee, barista, and the wonderful owner for their outstanding service, warmth, and demeanor each and every morning, especially at opening. What was my favorite? That's really a tough call because everything I tried was first-rate. The butter croissants are definitely the entry point.
