Unfortunately, this hasn't just happened at one location, I've noticed the same attitude at multiple stores. I genuinely enjoy the products and want to continue supporting this business, but the customer service experience needs improvement. Customers shouldn't feel like they're bothering staff simply by placing an order.

I got a hot hazelnut latte on a cold foggy morning and it was delicious and a good balance of syrup and espresso. I usually don't care for anything extra in my latte but they definitely have a good list of seasonal flavors and their main flavors. I like how you can customize it to make your own flavors as well. I just opted for something simple and it came out good. The area around is the industrial part and seems like it would be a good place to get a pick me up if you're getting your car serviced or something. I like that they had seating even though that morning was a cold morning. I'd imagine it to be a lovely spot to have coffee and chat with a friend on a nice sunny morning. I love the coffee cart and the person who served me was very nice. I would definitely recommend and try this out again if I had the chance. They only have limited hours though, so planning to come through can be challenging if you're not a morning person or have work out of the way.

I thought we got even more lost at first. The place was actually pretty packed inside and after having our drinks and pastries, I can totally see why. The first half of the building is the cafe where you'll be greeted with some cute and funny coffee signs. There's two large shelves full of their own coffee beans of different roasts. They have a few small tables to sit and enjoy your orders, but note it is a bit of a tight fit in there. They also have a coffee bar where some people sat in front of the baristas. Past the cafe side is the creamery. I was in a rush and didn't have a chance to take a look. What we ordered; 1) Hot Mocha Rocha with soy milk - 5/5 stars. I forgot to ask for this as half sweet, but either way, it was absolutely delicious. Rich and very flavorful. 2) Iced Mocha Rocha - 5/5 stars. Just as delicious as the hot version. 3) pistachio muffin - 3/5 stars. This muffin had a generous amount of actual pistachio baked into the muffin itself which I liked, however, the muffin had more of an artificial pistachio flavor for me. I still ate it but I wasn't in love with that one. 4) chocolate croissant - 5/5 stars. This was such a hit, we ran out right away. Everyone in our group attacked these so fast. I have to say, I am SAD that I live so far from Deep Barrel Roasters & Creamery. They have a lot of pastries, ice cream including deep fried ice cream, and beverages. After drinking the coffee I felt like a mental clarity. I thought nah I am just hyped on caffeine but it was seriously delicious and guilt-free. On top of that the cookie was pretty amazing! I see protein cookies often but only had tried one other prior to this. It wasn't chalky as I experience with many of my protein enhanced foods. It was smooth and easy chew. It didn't crumble as soon as I bit into it or opened the package... needless to say I enjoyed it. Overall the atmosphere that Alexis creates in addition to the tasty treats I give SilverHeart 5 stars!
