    House Lox ‍
    Krystal H.

I was having one of those days where I desperately needed a moment to myself. My kids were driving me absolutely insane, so I told the man who pretends to be their dad that I'd be back and made my escape. Windows down. Music up- yes, Sublime!. SUV pointed toward the one place I've been wanting to try for weeks. Abode was exactly the vibe I needed. The second I walked in, I felt my blood pressure drop a few points and my sanity slowly return. I ordered a nitro cold brew with half-and-half, and they let me pour my own. Unfortunately, I approached that task with the confidence of a professional and the skill of a toddler. Thankfully, the coffee was fantastic regardless of my dairy-related mistakes. For food, I ordered the House Lox bagel, and wow. The salmon was beautiful, fresh, and generously portioned. The capers were blended right into the cream cheese, which was a pleasant surprise and honestly worked really well. Part of me wished there were a few extra capers scattered on top, but I'm also probably one of the few people on earth who could happily eat a can of capers by itself. There was a minimal line when I arrived, although it seemed like a long one formed shortly after. I'm not saying I caused it, but the timing was suspicious. This is the kind of place where you can completely lose track of time and pretend you're a cool, relaxed person with no responsibilities. Unfortunately, I had to rush back home to my regularly scheduled chaos. Highly recommend. Great coffee, great food, and the perfect place to sneak away for an hour and remember who you are. I'll definitely be back, especially on the days when an escape plan feels less like a luxury and more like a necessity.

This is a really cute little place with stellar service. The employees are kind and friendly. It's a fairly new restaurant here in town. I'm looking forward to trying more menu items. I ran in and grabbed two bagels but the menu looks delicious and I'm looking forward to coming back. Took the bagels home and toasted them. They are soft, moist and fluffy on the inside and crispy on the outside. They're also pretty big. The shmear on the menu is cream cheese. They have a super fun photo booth with lots of pictures on the wall. I recommend stopping in here for breakfast or lunch. You won't be disappointed.

Very good coffee, very good Nisa breakfast sandwich. All the employees are always warm and friendly, even when there are many customers waiting in line. The place itself is aesthetically pleasing and trendy, but still cozy and approachable. Highly recommend, but be prepare to wait if you don't go early.

I love abode in wildomar so definitely had to check out their new spot. Line was pretty long when we got there and because of the customized drinks being made, it can't move very fast. Good amount of seating inside and the vibe is cool. Coffee seemed the same as their other location. Food seemed mostly the same too. Both of which are always great! I was just hoping with bakehouse being in their name here that there may have been more items I could get to take home for later. Basically feels like either is a great spot to stop into and it's just about which one you're closer to.

So excited they opened a location closer to home! I've been a fan of their Wildomar spot for a while now. Abode Bakehouse never disappoints with their coffee and breakfast lineup. Went in today and got an iced matcha latte and a Longanisa bagel sandwich... wow. So good. The line looked intimidating at first, but the staff moved things along quickly and we had our order in no time. Plenty of seating too, both inside and out, which was a nice bonus. Will definitely be back, probably sooner than I'd like to admit!

We have been to Abode in Wildomar which was a great first experience. The Temecula location is cute! I love that they have complimentary water. The staff is nice. The sandwiches were ok but too oily for us. We bought 4 sandwiches, one dessert and 2 drinks and spent $70.

Newer spot in Temecula that I was able to try this weekend. The inside was nice and modern. Service was very friendly. The sandwich itself was pretty good and tasty. The only critique I have is there was a little bit too much salsa on the sandwich for my liking. That flavor overpowered the rest of the sandwich. I definitely will be back to try other items!

Can't believe my beloved Abode Coffee in Wildomar has a 2nd location! This makes me extremely happy and proud, as they deserve all the success coming their way. This new location is beautiful and cozy, in a very nice plaza with great parking. Service was friendly and more than happy to serve us. We ordered the seasonal iced Tahini Latte which was amazing, a hot American, a Turkey P, and The Loom! The sandwich was amazing, the cream cheese was creamy and delicious, all the flavors mixed with the herbs extremely well. They have a different menu than their mother store but just as amazing. Just waiting on my Abode Family to sell some stickers and decals so I may buy them! Thank you Abode Bakehouse and Kitchen for an incredible and delicious experience here in Temecula, we look forward to supporting and having delicious coffee.

This place was fab! The woman who we interacted with at the front desk was so incredibly friendly in addition to the food and drinks being spectacular. I got the bagel with the fresh tomatoes and herb lemon cream cheese and the salted tahini ice coffee. Wish I lived closer so I could have both over and over again!

Nice, lively coffee/tea shop with indoor/outdoor dining. Variety of drinks and food items.

Definitely one of the better coffee places in Temecula - and they serve real matcha! We tried the iced honeycomb tahini latte and the iced berry cobbler matcha. The coffee here is GREAT and their matcha is also one of the very few places in Temecula that actually tastes quality and like it's been made right (look at that green!!!). They have seasonal drink specials, so I'm excited to see them expand their specialty lattes with new flavors and recipes. We also tried their house-made bagels and cream cheese. We got an everything bagel with the lemon herbcream cheese, which was so yummy! Can't wait to try their sandwiches when I come back. Overall, a really solid spot in a town full of Starbucks and mid cafes. Interior is relaxing and hip, and service is fast and friendly. Typically we have to go to OC or San Diego for a quality cafe like this, so I'm ecstatic we FINALLY have something good that's local!

    Mocha and vanilla latte

This was one of the best bagels I've ever had in my entire life! I ordered the loom and it was light and refreshing and honestly the best bagel I've had maybe in my whole life! The service is fantastic and the vanilla lattes and mocha's were perfection.

I went with the Vanilla Bean Sea Salt Scone, and it was delicious. They warmed it up for me, and for being gluten-free, it was surprisingly soft, moist, and full of flavor. If you have celiac disease like I do, I would consider this more gluten-friendly than celiac-safe. The gluten-free scones were displayed next to the vegan scones. They weren't touching and were spaced apart, but there is still a possibility of cross-contamination. The staff wore gloves when handling the pastries and seemed to take the proper precautions. They were very upfront about their food handling practices, answered all of my questions, and provided excellent customer service. The café itself was very clean, beautifully designed, and had a welcoming atmosphere. I originally wanted to order the Fruity Pebbles Matcha, which was a limited-time spring drink. Unfortunately, they couldn't make it with oat milk because the Fruity Pebbles mixture was already premade with whole milk. Instead, I ordered the Brown Butter Toffee Latte with oat milk. I got the 12 oz because I wasn't sure I'd finish it, but honestly, I should have ordered the larger size. It was that good. The flavor was rich without being overly sweet, which I really appreciated since I don't usually enjoy overly sugary drinks. My brother ordered the Peach Bellini and added a splash of lemonade. He let me try it, and it was incredibly refreshing. The peach flavor came through nicely without being overpowering, and the balance between the peach puree, black tea, and lemonade was just right. He also ordered a brioche tart topped with raspberries, blackberries, and vanilla custard, which he said was fluffy, flavorful, and delicious. I would definitely come back when I'm in the area for another Brown Butter Toffee Latte and gluten-free scone. Just a little disclaimer from someone who's still pretty new to navigating celiac disease: I'm still learning what works best for me and what risks I'm personally comfortable taking. While I understand there is always a possibility of cross-contamination in a shared facility, I also know that living with celiac and multiple food allergies can feel very limiting at times. For me, seeing a business be transparent, answer questions honestly, and take reasonable precautions helps me make an informed decision. Everyone's comfort level and sensitivity is different, so if you have celiac disease, please use your own judgment and do what feels safest for you.
