I saw the sign for this place right off the freeway. It's in a shopping center with plenty of parking. Walking in, I saw a cozy seating area with arm chairs, tables, and coffee roasters. The cafe and a rustic feel to it, with the wood and dim lighting. There is floor to ceiling windows so plenty of natural light. I saw they have coffee, mugs, and other knick knacks for sale. They have a big pastry stand with bagels and other pastries. There were a few people coming in and out. The mugs are $17, which is pretty steep. The menus are hung almost to the ceiling. There is a drinks menu and a food menu. I decided to get a breakfast burrito and an iced cookie butter latte. The barista seemed annoyed and in a bad mood when I asked some questions about the menu. My total came out about $15. My order was for to go and did not take too long. My burrito was wrapped in green tortilla, which I was surprised about. Located in the Albertsons shopping center this Rise to Grind is easy to access. There's plenty of parking. Limited seating inside but it's cozy. The service is flat, not welcoming. The pastries are basic. I got a chocolate scone and it was strange. I've had better. I got a medium Americano with white chocolate sugar free flavor. The coffee itself was underwhelming. They're on a quiet corner of a strip shopping area, away from the Albertsons and the various fast food drive-thrus in the parking lot. Incredibly rude customer service. Ordered a caramel late and caramel macchiato, barista called out two caramel lattes. I picked up one of the caramel lattes and waited for the caramel macchiato. Rise to Grind ended up being a great option for this, with ample comfy seats and an atmosphere that wasn't too quiet or too loud. I'm not big on coffee, I got a tea and it was reasonably priced which I appreciated. It was good, but it wasn't much more than a grocery aisle tea bag in a cup of hot water, haha. While it would've been nicer to get something a bit more special, it was cheap and decent and the employees were fine with everyone in the shop who was grabbing a drink to and hanging around to chat or do some work.
