(By the time our stuff was ready we were able to score a table outside, woohoo!) I was a little bummed that I'd already had coffee that morning and ended up ordering some avocado toast. Thankfully my friend wanted to share a latte because it came out so cute! My avocado toast was delicious and they enjoyed their breakfast sandwich. The latte tasted great as well. My sweet tooth is strong so I also decided to take home a slice of carrot cake. The cake was moist and spiced with yummy cream cheese frosting, all of the things I love. I'd love to see more comfy seating but then no one would leave. With great smiling friendly service, great coffee and yummy food, I'm so glad to have this spot so close by! It made such a positive impression on me. I ordered the Iced Hazelnut Latte and honestly had pretty low expectations since I've found that coffee around this area can sometimes be overly sweet. Surprisingly, the sweetness here was really well balanced. My only issue was that the drink tasted a little too milky and watered down for my preference since I like a stronger coffee flavor. If I ordered it again, I'd probably pay for an extra espresso shot. The coffee itself isn't necessarily a standout for me, but between the service and the drink surprising me, I'd consider Joyful Noise one of the better coffee options I've tried in the South Riverside County area. Then I finally discovered MalibuGift! My only wish is that they had a couple of small tables inside. I was looking around to see if there was another laundromat around and noticed that this one had a coffee bar in it. I was intrigued so I went to do my laundry there. The facility is very clean and welcoming. It doesn't look dirty like your typical laundromat. They have a variety of sizes of washing machines for your needs. There's even different size dryers . Washing and drying is done with an electronic card which you purchase there. You can purchase with cash or with a debit/credit card. They have a section where they sell soap/detergent, fabric softener sheets, etc. they even sell scented oils and candles for your home and even some pet toys. They also have a section where you can drop off your clothes and they'll take care of it for you. Now the coolest part is the coffee bar. You can order a coffee and a pastry to eat while you wait for your laundry to be done. Their coffee was pretty good and I had a strawberry scone, which was the best scone I've had. Not much of a scone person as I feel they are too dry but this one didn't crumble on me and it had really good flavor. There's plenty of seating. There's a bar area near the coffee ordering area, then there's tables on the side and some more outside. All in all. This was a very pleasant laundry experience. It feels more like a cool upscale lounge than a laundromat. They also offer Fluff & Fold service, which is something I definitely plan on using for my business.
