I came here on a Monday afternoon. I have to say I don't get the hype. The idea is great but the place is very small. Not enough washers and dryers to keep up with the volume of people coming in. I had to wait 30 mins for a washer to become available. And it's pricey! One large load is $15-$20 and a medium load is $10-$15 if you want to add additional things to the load (extra spin, extra soil, etc). Seems pretty pricey for just two loads I did. I spent $35 for two loads. I had to come in because I had an oversized comforter that I couldn't fit in my washer. The concept of the coffee stand is cute. Each coffee is $8-10. read more

Went here for the first time Monday morning around 9:30am and the place was busy. I was looking for a place to wash my large comforters. I took my time to get familiar with their system and see what was available. They have kiosk to get a card which you add money to it to use. I personally like to is method. No coins or bills to use on the actual machines. There were plenty of washer and dryers. I noticed only 2 extra large washer and dryers. Not too many laundry carts but everyone was nice and took turns using it. They also have a cute coffee bar. Plenty of seating areas, even outside. I used this laundry drop-off service recently and unfortunately had a very concerning experience. I dropped off about 10 pounds of clothing for 24-hour service, but when my order was returned early, it was mostly clothing that did not belong to me. I went back to the laundromat right away and, with an employee present, separated out the few items that were actually mine. The remaining items were weighed at about 6 pounds, confirming that a significant portion of my clothing is missing. I returned the incorrect items immediately and was hoping another customer would call once they realized they received clothes that weren't theirs or were missing items. Some of the clothing I was given clearly belonged to a child, and I'm sure those items are important to whoever they belong to. My blankets and towels (which I paid an additional fee for 4-hour service) were returned correctly, but the issue was with my clothing order. I paid $72 total and was given a $50 credit, but I am still missing multiple personal items and have not received any real update. When I called to follow up, I was met with a dismissive attitude and my concerns were not taken seriously. Mistakes can happen, but the lack of accountability and poor customer service is what's most disappointing. I'm still hoping this can be resolved and my missing items are located. read more

I happen to stumble upon this place. So glad I did. This is a great little laundromat/cafe. It looks aesthetically pleasing on the outside and in. The building looks new, painted an orange. When walking in, you see the laundromats and coffee bags on display on shelves. On either side, there is plenty of seating and a coffee bar next to the front counter. It's decorated with flowers and vines, which felt very whimsical and quaint. The cafe had a lighthearted vibe. On one side, there was the cafe with a mural of a black raven and leaves, painted a green and pink. Next to the counter was the pastry shelf. I saw they had cinnamon rolls, muffins, and a gluten free pumpkin chocolate chip loaf! I saw another sign for their specialty drinks. I decided to get the cherry matcha latte with oat milk and the gluten free loaf. I paid cash but had short change to give. The barista accepted my change, which was nice. All the barristas were nice. There were a few people inside, either at the cafe, using the laundromat, or both. Not very busy on a 9 am weekday morning. I did wait a bit for my order but I didn't mind. My loaf had already been given to me. I realized I forgot to ask for my drink to be iced but luckily, they made it iced. My matcha tasted exactly as it was describe. While waiting for our washer at home to be repaired, I found The Mat in Menifee. I went on a Thursday morning after school drop off around 9am and was able to walk in and get a washer. There were only a few normal size washers left. It wasn't crowded but as I was waiting, about 4 other people came so I think it probably gets busy as the day goes on. Here's what you need to know: 1. The machines are new and range in size from normal to huge - I will definitely be bringing my blankets, rugs, etc here in the future. 2. The machines use a card system similar to arcades. You can purchase new cards and reload cards from a machine. Simple. 3. I brought my own detergent but you can also buy if needed. I used the throw in pods but there is also pour-in options. 4. I didn't dry because my dryer at home is fine, but they have a wall of dryers also ranging from normal to huge. 5. The machines are computerized, very easy to follow instructions and gives you running time. 6. The laundromat is right off the 215 freeway at Scott, and the parking lot is big with no problem finding a space. There are also about 15 Tesla chargers. 7. There is a cafe with coffee, pastries etc but I did not try this time. Overall, lovely experience and I will be returning! read more

I gave the mat another shot after being impressed with their atmosphere but not stunned by their coffee and I think the problem is the nasty cheap Trader Joe's canned vanilla cold foam they use. I ordered an iced americano with vanilla cold foam expecting a homemade fresh and creamy top just to watch the baristas spray it from a can. It's subpar for a coffee shop. Please change this!! My mom just got an Americano, which she enjoyed. I got their matcha with salted caramel cold foam. I really like this laundromat, it's always clean, affordable, and feels modern and comfortable compared to others in the area. It's definitely one of my go-to spots. That said, one thing that can be frustrating is when small businesses come in and take up multiple machines at once. Today, one person was using about four machines for her cleaning business while regular customers were waiting. I even saw three mothers with infants, pushing strollers, towing loads of laundry, and walking in circles trying to find an open machine, it was tough to watch and clearly stressful for them. And here I am with my one load for my large comforter to wash, waiting for a larger machine. I completely understand that small businesses need to do their laundry too, and I know laundromats rely on consistent commercial customers. But during peak hours, it feels unfair to regular customers who just need to get their laundry done. It might really help to have some guidelines in place, like designated commercial-use hours, a limit on the number of machines one person can use during busy times, or a time cap when there's a wait. Overall, it's still a great place, love the coffee, and with a few thoughtful adjustments like these, it could be an even better experience for everyone. read more
