Very happy with Menifee cleaners!!!! I've been coming here for years and have nothing but good things to say. I've come to them for hemming, alterations, and dry cleaning. It's always good quality, service, and quick turn around time. Usually my stuff is done before the original pick up date they give me. Also, had a very nice experience recently when I came to pick up my baby shower dress on Saturday. They close early on Saturday which I didn't realize and they are closed on Sundays (the day of my shower), and although I arrived 15 minutes past closing on Saturday, they still helped me. I waited til the last minute to get a patch sewn onto a uniform. I was skeptical of this place because of the other reviews. My first choice was down the street, but the lady said they wouldn't have it done in time. I needed it by the next afternoon. I know, bad me! I walked into Menifee Cleaners, and I was tended to right away. The older woman said she had to charge me a rush fee since I needed it next day. She also told me to come in sooner next time (which I will, lol). Idk how much the "rush fee" is, but I walked out paying $10. Cool. I was glad to walk in the next afternoon to see that the service I requested was done with perfection. I anticipate inflation in the next 2 months, but hopefully, nothing too crazy. I brought two expensive, fairly new suits here. When I got them home there was a very noticeable reddish discoloration on the pants and jacket. The lady tells me that that's fading from being dry cleaned. I have been getting my suits dry cleaned for over a decade and I have never had a suit fade from grey to reddish pink from dry cleaning. They obviously used some material on my suits that bleached them and they won't admit it. Ruined two expensive new suits. I will never take my clothes here again. read more

I had a duvet that was very wrinkled after I had washed and dried it and there were a lot of wrinkles in the duvet so I thought maybe a cleaners would steam the duvet and get rid of all the wrinkles. When I got home, the duvet looked worst than when I brought into Menifee Cleaners. I called 7 times and no one answered the phone. So I left a message but it cut me off. I am livid with Menifee Cleaners. I asked them to steam and press the duvet but I think they didn't do anything to my duvet and charged me a lot of money for their service. I do not recommend this business to anyone. Also the owner was rude to me when I asked for her service. I won't be going there anymore. They are the worst because they didn't do what I asked for. They didn't satisfy me with their service and their expensive. Bad quality of service. When I went back to Menifee Cleaner's and told them they did a horrible job on my duvet they tried to make excuses about how it turned out. I we were ballistic. I told them to steam press my duvet. I told them to do it over and press it. I also told them that I spent a lot of money getting what I wanted. They were rude, angry and downright unprofessional and disrespectful to a paying customer. I told them I wanted it done today and they said they couldn't do it today they said to pick it up Friday. I said I have company coming on Friday then they said we will get it done by Thursday. I told them I was going to rate them a one star and they said go ahead and do it. So I am. They really inconvenienced me and my schedule this week. Now I have to go back and get my duvet. Hopefully they will get it right if they don't, I'm going to get my money back. I have been coming here for four years. I brought 6 shirts to be cleaned. When I came to pickup, they tried to give me someone else's order. They lost my shirts, told me to come another day. No follow up, no apology, and no shirts. They just don't seem to care. I guess there is no recourse when a dry cleaner loses your clothes. It is just sad. They also had a difficult time speaking English, which just made things worse. Maybe if they lose enough clients, they will do a better job tracking orders. Took a dress to in get it shortened. They quickly looked at it and quoted $40.00 for a simple hemmed. It used to be $8.00 to $16.00 for slacks and dresses. This place has always been pricey but now they're really overpriced! Won't be returning. read more

DO NOT USE this cleaners. If you value your money and the condition of your clothing please use anyone else in the area. I brought in several shirts and asked for decorative patches to be added. The cost was in my opinion over priced, $5 per patch. The work is shotty craftsmanship and some threading is already coming out after 1-2 uses/wears/washes. Worst part is they made new holes in several of my shirts! I noticed one when I picked up and they insisted it was there when I dropped it off and would not fix it for free so I spent more having it fixed. I've since found several holes in identical locations on my other shirts, assuming some part of there equipment made them because they are the same on several shirts, near the should area. Poor quality, poor value, rude service, over priced work, not to mention what must be rough practices when doing alterations because nothing else explains this. My first time coming to this cleaners, as it was recommended. All I asked for was a patch to be sewn onto my son's karate jacket and Grace had a horrible attitude from the beginning. She told me that my son's jacket would be ready by 12 in the afternoon the next day (today) and we agreed. My dad went in to check on the jacket a little while ago and she told him, "I told her after 3pm" which is untrue because I explained to her that his karate class started at 4...that's how we ended up agreeing on an earlier time. (12pm) Not only did she tell my dad that the jacket won't be ready until after 3, but she said the jacket isn't even there. She sent it off somewhere to be sewn. Now, my son will be without a jacket and will probably have to miss his karate lesson. She didn't mention that it needed to be "sent off" anywhere and my belongings never should have left that building without consent. Never ever ever ever again. Interrupting me when I spoke to her (Grace), bad customer service, no communication as to where she sent my stuff...smh just unacceptable. read more

Decided to try out this location since my previous location permanently closed. First time here I had to ask for a receipt and the price of what they were charging me when dropping off my items. Made me wonder are they just making up prices when people come and pick up their orders. Once I picked up my items, I noticed a couple of my work shirts had been shrunken. I didn't think anything of it and decided to give them another shot. WORST-DECISION-EVER!! Second time same problem. Had to ask for a receipt with a list of my items as well as a price which was sloppily hand written on the receipt with an attitude. DO NOT BRING ANYTHING EXPENSIVE TO THIS PLACE. They might replace cheap items that they damage, but they will not replace anything name brand. I brought white clothes to them that came back ivory, pinkish. I was told by the owner that the black bled through. If that is the case, why is the clothes not greyish but pinkish? They DID NOT wash the items separately and then blamed me. I was told by Alexa(the owner) that because of my husband's zipper, the clothes were old and to contact the manufacturer for a replacement. White shoes used to show discoloration. Shoes was bought with sweatsuit. Versace shirt and pants were matching, now the logo tapes are off because they washed his versace shirt with whatever turned my sweatsuit pink, more than likely, the armani suit. I picked up our stuff before the wedding we were attending and headed home. I was very disappointed when I arrived home. My dress was still as wrinkly as it was when I dropped it off. And my husband's shirt and suit jacket were wrinkled as well. Since we were headed to a wedding I had no time to take our stuff back. Luckily my mom was able to iron our clothes before we headed out. This place has terrible customer service and incompetent. Dropped off a pair of white leather pants November 19 and supposed to be ready November 30. Since I never got a call if it was ready, i called December 8 to inquire and the person was totally clueless on what is going on. After being put on hold, she finally tells me that the cleaner that was supposed to do the leather cleaning returned it a week ago stating they can't clean this type of leather pants. I wasted over 3 weeks waiting on a service and be told it can't be done. Don't take your business here, they are terrible. read more

I should have known better and to be worried when I walked in the first time and didn't see a price list posted anywhere; not even price ranges. As a result, they literally quote you prices as they feel like it and I even tested it, bringing in the exact same suit jacket twice and got quoted two COMPLETELY and widely different prices. I think it also depends on who is behind the counter. Last time I went in they quoted me $18.95 for a ladies suit coat. Granted, it was on the longer side (hits mid-thigh) but $19?!?!?! I said "thank you but no thank you" and left. I will never be returning as I feel that if you can't be transparent and consistent with your pricing, then I don't want to do business with you. I spend on average about $100-150 a month here and the prices seem to get much higher for the same things that i get done. The Younger lady of the 2 is very nice and helpful but the older one questioned me last week on some pants i got hemmed from them and it came apart as soon as i put them on. She still charged me! So waited in the truck and watched this guy rushed in looking all around him with a wadded ball of blue material that looked like my husbands shirt. I'm like. Hmmm they take it out with them?! And then he left right away. ( I use to work at a dry cleaners, and I would be able to look up something and find it, she couldn't do that she kept asking me what it looked like.) and then called out but spoke in Chinese I believe. So after 35 min went back in and she had it. I know all she did was press it. And I was still calm and gracious and said thank you. She charged me, which she could have slide. I took my husband's suit and my daughter's $260 flower girl dress to the Menifee Cleaners to be dry cleaned. Upon pick up, the front desk girl grabbed my items placed them on the pick up rack and started to ring me up for the cleaning. She charged my debit card and while the receipt was printing, I had a feeling to look at the clothes and I'm glad I listened to my intuition. I looked at my daughters dress and noticed the bow on the back was completely gone. I asked the girl, "What happened?" and she looked completely confused and I told her there was a bow and pointed where the bow use to be. I told her that the two buttons that keep the bow flat were still attached and pointed to them. I started to look at the front of the dress and I find that they safety pinned the bow to the front of the dress. Thankfully it was not lost. However, they failed to tell me that it came off and they knew it came off because they safety pinned it to the front. My issue isn't really with the fact that it came off but the fact that I was not informed of this issue right at pick up. I should have been told what happened. I'm glad I found this out while I was there and not when I had gotten home with the dress. You can see multiple string spots where the bow was threaded and attached and even string still attached on the bow. I understand sometimes these things happen. I would have been fine with it if they had informed me of the issue right at pick up instead they tried to hide it(had my daughters dress with the bow safety pinned facing towards my husbands suit to hide their mistake). That's so incredibly unethical for any business to not inform a customer of a mistake. Their lack of integrity to be honest with their mistakes makes me never want to bring my dry cleaning back to them ever again. BUYER BEWARE: If you come here inspect your clothes before going home because if you go home and find something was safety pinned because it fell off or was mishandled they probably will try to blame you and you will have no recourse. read more
