Bad Business Practices This is a very shady business owner. I turned in 4 clothing items and was giving back three. I called and informed an employee that an item from my order was missing. He said he would check the rack and message the manager. The next day, I called the manager, and he told me he would look into it and call me back later that day. Good Customer Service is a thing of the past. Just moved back to area and Capri Cleaners was my go-to cleaners for 10+years. I parked right in front of the door. Doors open and could see two employees, behind the desk talking. As I exited the car and walked into the business, the young lady, immediately walked away and the young man, picked up the phone...phone did not ring. I stood there for a few minutes waiting for any type of acknowledgement from anyone/anywhere; nothing. The man actually never even looked up. If I could give them negative stars I would. On December 10, I took my bedroom floor-to-ceiling Velvet drapes to Capri Cleaners to be dry cleaned. The drapes were a quality item that I purchased at Restoration Hardware. The purchase price for those drapes was over $1,100. It was a huge investment for me! I was told the dry cleaning would take six days. When I returned to pick up my drapes my hopes were that I would go home and hang them back up. To my stunned surprise, my drapes had shrunk five inches! The lining that was attached to the drapes had been shrunk both horizontally and vertically, so the drapes were not able to be hung properly. The design look I had maintained for all these two years had been ruined and lost and I was "hung out to dry" by Capri Cleaners. I was shocked that my drapes were handled in such an unprofessional manner and Daniel (the Manager/Partner) said if I brought the drapes back to Capri, he would "fix" them. He admitted to me that they were NOT properly dry cleaned, but that there was "probably some water based solution used". The label clearly says "Dry clean only" ! I waited another 10 days and had to go back several times because he said they "weren't ready". When the drapes were finally "ready", I asked him to hang the drapes somewhere in the shop to see if they were in fact, "fixed". He refused to do that and so I took the drapes home, hung them and they were still not right because the lining was askew and the drapes were still short. I tried following up with phone calls to the shop to resolve this blatant, unprofessional workmanship, only to be ignored and never received even a return call. Then I tried to contact the owner of the shop, Monica Peele, and one of the employees said that she would call me back to resolve the issue. Instead, I got a text message from Daniel stating "they will make it right" I took the drapes back to Capri Cleaners for the third time and was told that they ordered another set of these drapes without consulting me, even though I told them a week before that I had already replaced them. At this point, a month and a half passed and I needed drapes in my bedroom. I told Daniel that I don't want replacement drapes now and to please reimburse me with a check instead. He kept going to the back of the shop to talk to someone in hushed tones only to come back to tell me they don't reimburse. I was standing there a good hour and he kept telling me that the drapes are on the way. I told him many times that I have no use for them any more and that its easy for them to return them and give me a check instead. Daniel said there was nothing he could or would do to remedy this huge mistake because they don't pay for damages to their "dry cleaned" items! At this point I feel that I am left without choice but to warn other people to not do business with this incompetent cleaners that obviously doesn't know how to treat customers property properly and is not willing to treat customers with respect. I have no choice but to take them to court to recover the damages. read more

Went here recently to get my daughter's uniform pressed and cleaned and am so glad I chose this place to get them done here. Prices are reasonable, staff are helpful and nice and the turnaround time to get your clothing cleaned is incredibly fast! Turned in her uniform Monday afternoon and it was cleaned and ready to be picked up the next day by 4pm! They did an incredible job and I highly recommend coming here. Zero Stars!!!!!! DO NOT RECOMMEND... On 6/14/2024 I purchased an authentic Louis Vuitton Monogram Purse from online for the total price of 708.68. Purse was received on 6/20/2024. I took my purse to Capri Cleaners on 6/21/2024 the next day from receipt to be inspected for cleaning of the leather as there was minimal water staining. On 6/22/2024 I received a text message from Daniel the manager of Capri Cleaners advising of the price of the cleaning which was $120 and advised that my purse would be ready on 6/29/2024. I went to pick up my purse on 6/29 however it was not ready and I was told it would be ready on 7/6/2024 (an additional week) On 7/6/2024, I went to pick up my purse and I noticed that the leather was a lot darker from when I initially dropped the purse off as it was a very light tan when I dropped it off and now it is a deep brown color. When I returned home and removed the plastic wrapping I immediately noticed the leather was very hard and cracking, there was color bleeding on the logo prints, the inside of the bag had server staining and the purse showed signs of heavy usage. My purse was in top condition with very minimal water stains on the leather that I requested to have cleaned. This was not the same purse! I immediately contacted Capri Cleaners via text and phone sending pictures showing the stark differences from the purse I dropped of and the one that was returned to me. These are to totally different bags which can be seen on the pictures. I requested a refund of the cleaning fee as well as the price I paid for my purse totaling $810.68 and I would return the one they gave me. On 7/7/24 I was advised that they will return the cleaning fee. That is not acceptable! After several trips down to Capri Cleaners, I FINALLY received a check for the amount of my purse, however to date I HAVE NOT RECEIVED THE CLEANING FEE OF $120.00. I sent two text to the manager/co-owner twice with no response. I ended up filing a dispute with the bank in order to get the refund. Again, this was a vintage bag, so after repurchasing from a different seller, I am out an additional $300, which I may take to small claims. Note, I only had the purse for 1 day prior to taking it to be cleaned. I would not patronize this place especially if it's a item that you care about, as they are not honest. Also, the manager did agree that it was a different purse that was returned to me, I never once received an apology for all the inconvenience of traveling over 20 minutes several times too and from their establishment in order to get the issue resolved, to add insult to injury, I had to go an extra step to get the cleaning fee returned as the manager did not respond to the text I sent requesting he call his bank!!! I am beyond grateful for Capri Cleaners! I initially went to another local dry cleaners to have my daughters big sweet 16 dress steamed/pressed. I needed it on a Sunday for her photoshoot. The owner of that facility told me to bring it in the Friday before her photoshoot and pick it up Saturday because they were closed Sunday. I did exactly that but when I showed up Friday, the owner told me he didn't have anyone there to do it and wouldn't have it ready in time. He told me I should've brought it in Thursday. I reminded him he told me Friday and he apologized for the miscommunication. He couldn't recommend anywhere to take it because he said all the dry cleaners around us don't have anyone to press on Saturdays. I'm freaking out, my daughters photoshoot is Sunday. I remembered when my mom lived in the area she would always use Capri Cleaners so I headed straight there. I was greeted as soon as I walked in by Daniel. Before even telling him the situation he said he could have it done no problem. I immediately felt so much relief! I then explained to Daniel what had happened and he let me know that Capri Cleaners is fully staffed everyday they're open. They even do same day! I got a call when it was ready for pickup and headed over. Daniel and another one of his staff members helped me load the giant dress into my Tahoe. After the dress was loaded, I was explaining to Daniel how her photoshoot is two hours away the following day, and I was worried about it getting wrinkled in transport. He gave me his recommendations of how to place the dress for transport. I did exactly that on Sunday and the dress was still perfect when we arrived at her photoshoot! I am beyond thankful for Daniel and the customer service I received here! I can see why my mom always used this dry cleaners and I will never go anywhere else now! I got off of work later than expected and my GPS said I wouldn't get there until 7:10. They close at 7:00 but I REALLY needed my items. I was going to just take the "L" but I was like hey it's worth a try. So I called, explained my situation and the gentleman on the other end had the nerve to say he would wait for me...I mean the audacity of this gentlemen having EXCELLENT customer service...I WAS SO APPRECIATIVE!!
