After they did such an amazing job on cleaning my husband's suits, dress shirts, slacks, etc. I decided to trust them with a an alteration. I've had a red Michael Kors down jacket in & out of my trunk for about a year, it had some kind of ink stains on the collar which was visibly noticeable, regardless of whether I had a zipped up or down.It looked like some of the Michael Kors print on the inside back actually ran onto the jacket! I decided to have them try to fix it. I knew the stain wouldn't come out because it was Ink and it had been there for a long time. It was a down jacket so the outside of it is nylon. I tried many things trying to get it out myself many home remedies even took it to some dry cleaners and they said they couldn't do it so I decided to give Antelope Dry Cleaners a shot with doing an alteration by giving them the little red pouch that the jacket came in which was of the same fabric and I asked if they could just use that pouch and cover up the collar. My husband just picked up the jacket for me today and it looks absolutely amazing! They did an impeccable job! you would never know that they actually use a different piece of fabric and covered over the entire collar. The price was amazing as well. They are truly the best cleaner/alterations I have found in all my adult years! I'm 68 so that says a lot! Scotty, the owner is so sweet & friendly, as is everyone I've met on the entire staff. I spoke with Hussein, explained my situation, and he immediately reassured me that they could help. He and his father met with me that same day, assessed the dress, and quickly came up with a plan. The dress we chose was ready the very next day -- I couldn't believe it! I also decided to have it hemmed slightly to better match my height, and once again, it was completed within just a couple of days. I wore the dress on the 21st for the wedding, and it was absolutely beautiful and so comfortable. I received so many compliments! For the jeans, instead of being taken in through the back seam (as is standard for jean alterations), fabric was taken in on both sides. The stitching is very obvious, and there is a thick, bulky clump of folded fabric left inside each pair, which looks and feels uncomfortable and unprofessional. This is not how jeans are typically altered, especially at $25 per pair. I ended up having to spend more money and take them to another place that was willing to fix the mistake and alter them correctly. The dress was partially fixed, but an important detail was missed. I specifically asked for the back clasp/snaps at the top of the dress to be sewn back on, and that was completely forgotten. Overall, the workmanship did not match the price, and I felt like I wasted my money. I wouldn't return or recommend this service based on my experience.

A very nice lady patiently made the proper measurements for each pair of pants I needed hemmed. Canyon Tailor charges $15.00 for one pair of pants that need hemming. She indicated that my pants would be ready the following Saturday (1 Calendar Week). Upon arrival the following week, the shop was very busy, which was good to see since I appreciate having a good tailor who is great close by. When the owner went behind the counter, I already sensed that my order was not ready, which he returned and confirmed. He said the my pants would be ready on Monday, but I told him that I would return the following Saturday, and there was no need to rush my order. We returned two weeks later to a very busy shop again, but this time my pants were ready. I tried one just one pair, and the tailoring job was great! My wife and I were both very happy with the tailoring done here as always. My wife later brought our youngest son here for some of his clothing adjustments needed later that same day.

Friday, Saturday, Sunday. Ring, ring, ring. No answer. No voicemail. Nothing. We were trying to avoid wasting another 40-mile round trip just to find a closed door. By week four, my fiancé went back in desperation because he needed the pants for an event the very next day. The staff could not find his clothes again. After an awkward wait while another customer tried on his alterations, the suits finally surfaced. And surprise, they were still untouched. Four weeks of storage, zero work, zero apology. Just excuses. Canyon Tailor wasted our time, our gas, and our patience. Their system for storing items is a mess, they do not answer their phone, and apparently "alterations" means "hang onto your suits until you give up." If you want a tailor who actually does the work, save yourself the headache and try Fantastic Tailor in Lake Elsinore or Custom Fit Alterations in Corona. Both are reliable, communicative, and worth your trust. Canyon Tailor? More like Canyon Fail-or.
