He has us wait in the main room for it and it only took a couple of minutes for him to reattach the button. It can be difficult to find a good tailor but I am happy to report that there is an excellent tailor in our neighborhood. Story time! I took my wedding dress to a different cleaner in Los Angeles the week before my wedding to get it steamed and they ended up ripping a massive seam in my dress and not telling me. I saw how bad the damage was one day before the wedding when I was already in Temecula and had to frantically call around for someone who could quickly stitch up a silk gown and was extremely anxious. Capri told me not to worry and to bring in my gown 10 minutes before they closed and they had my wedding dress back to me in perfect condition by 11am that next day. I took my tuxedo to Capri Tailoring and dropped it off for tailoring and the owner was so nice and professional. I came in late on Thursday I was told it would be ready Saturday. I was unable to pick it up Saturday and I needed it by Monday evening for a photo shoot. I didn't check the store hours not realizing they were closed on Mondays. I arrived and to my surprise it was closed. I was beyond panicked and called the number and thank God the owner answered. He was very understanding and came in on his day off and gave me my tuxedo. I had previously had Tom hem a brides maid dress- but this was not the same small task, and i was worried. Tom is so sweet, professional and honest. He eased my nerves, listened to all of my nit picky needs and DELIVERED. It's not like this dress was easy either- it required hemming, reconstruction of the bust area and separation and reconstruction of the side lace- which I was terrified about.
