Christine is amazing! Had a bridesmaid dress I needed altered for a destination wedding and it had to be done in less than a week. The shoes I ordered were behind and I had to get fitted with shoes that were the same height as what was coming. Long story short my shoes came in Saturday morning, I had dropped my dress off Wednesday afternoon. I noticed the shoes were different heights, the shoe I ordered was a bit shorter than what was stated. I hurried down to Christine to see if we could try the dress on with the correct shoes and she said, it shouldn't be a problem but we already hemmed your dress but it should be fine. If we need to we can fix it, we have time. So I tried it on and it was perfect. Everywhere else I went they said it would take 2 weeks! Christine had great customer service, nice price point, good quality and I would def recommend everyone to get their items altered with her. Thanks Christine! This place is the best! I am a lower leg amputee and we get zippers put in our pants to be able to adjust the leg throughout the day. I initially asked her to go too short. When I came back, she said it would be a while because she had to order a longer zipper. Surprisingly she called me next day to pick up! She went out of her way and went to get the zipper. Not to mention her work is FANTASTIC. It looks like the jeans were built this way and I've never had an invisible zipper before. read more

Completely satisfied! I brought in a ball gown that I wanted altered. I asked her to put a corset back into my gown so that it would fit my body a little more accurately, plus I just love the look of corset backs. She said no problem! I brought it in with maybe ten days to have it done (I was hoping and praying that would be enough time). Well I ended up needing to pick it up a day earlier so I called and asked if that was possible (the day before I actually picked it up) and she said again, no problem! She was pretty slammed when I dropped the dress up so I was a bit worried whether it'd be done in time but sure enough it was. I picked it up and only paid $30!! I had quotes in the upper $80's, $90's and even into the hundreds but she did it for THIRTY BUCKS! I am so grateful I found this place. I will never have anyone else tailor my things! UPDATE 4/5/13: I took my husband's Navy dress whites for new rank and unit patches. She did a great job and quick in the turn around time! Horrible service - I brought my daughter's prom dress to Nice Alterations so they could take in the waist. When I picked it up, my daughter tried it on and it was still big! We told the lady at the front and she admitted it was big but said "it looks fine". She refused to fix it! I will never come here again. Not worth what I was charged - $130. Took another dress to get hemmed, and was not disappointed! My dress for this year's Marine Corps Ball had feathers in the bottom and it was too long in the front that I keep stepping on it. The lady (Christine?) was very nice and assured me that the dress will be done on time. To be honest, I felt nervous because my dress was expensive and I was afraid that cutting off some of the feathers would ruin the dress, but it came out great. The attendant was very rude. She was on the phone chatting with someone in a really loud voice and never even greeted me as I walked in. She put a piece of paper down for me to write my name, while still chatting on the phone. I thought she was talking to me but I couldn't understand a word she was saying because she was speaking in another language. I asked, "Are you speaking to me?" and she didn't answer but just kept speaking on the phone in a really loud voice. I gave her my payment card, she handed me my order, and she ran my card and continued talking on the phone. Never said hello or goodbye or thank you. I was so upset that I didn't even check the workmanship on the alternation they made. I will never go back there. It was a very unpleasant experience. To be fair, the person who helped me the very first time I was there was very pleasant, which is why I went back again, but I'll never return after the treatment received from this latest attendant. read more

My best friend was getting married on August 3rd, she tried her wedding dress on directly before the rehearsal on August 2nd, one day before the wedding and the zipper broke completely off of the dress. This happened in the late afternoon, a little after 3pm. Nice Alterations was the first place that I called to get the dress fixed for the frantic bride. Nice alterations had the dress finished and ready for pick up by 6pm the same day. They literally saved her sanity and her entire wedding day. They were nice, professional, efficient, and understanding. Without hesitation, the girl on the phone told me to bring it to them.
