My husband and I have been loyal customers of this dry cleaners and clothing alterations business for many, many years. We used to be very happy with the services offered and never had any complaints. About 1&1/2 years ago things started to change and not in a good way. After I was treated for cancer I lost weight and had to purchase new clothes. At first all was ok. Then the clothing I brought in, expensive clothing suddenly became a mess. Hemmed pants were way off, still long different lengths for the legs, and no one would repair the botched work they did. . Then I brought in silk shirts to be pressed before I wore them after they were shipped to my home, all tags intact, extra buttons sewn on the inside. . The extra buttons that were on these shirts disappeared, expensive ivory buttons at that. I brought in a beautiful blazer to have the open ends of the sleeves altered so the cuffs would be sewn closed and I bought beautiful buttons to be put on the jacket cuffs. My husband brought the blazer home, 1 sleeve wasn't touched, the other sleeve was 1/2 done with loose threads everywhere and again the beautiful spare buttons as well as my new buttons I bought, gone, they were cut off the inside, the package of new buttons completely missing. The staff stole them! And my beautiful jacket was completely demolished. My husband went in a couple of weeks ago, we needed new zippers put on our winter coats. When my husband asked for the price, the owner said if the seamstress did the job, $40.00. ( each zipper,). If someone else that usually doesn't do that kind of work does it, $20.00 per zipper! So I'm assuming someone who doesn't know how to replace a zipper and would probably wreck our jackets charges $20.00? If the seamstress who knows how to replace zippers, $40.00!. How awful, having 1: overcharge to replace zippers and 2: have someone who doesn't know how to replace zippers charge us $20.00 each jacket and most likely destroy our coats. What kind of business steals buttons from clothing, leaves work undone and lies? We will never ever go to this place again. No apologies for $100.00's of $'s in destroyed clothing, lie about being able to do work they can't do and general lack of any ethics. If you have clothing you value don't trust this business. Who steals customers items or destroys items they are supposed to repair? Shame on them. read more

WARNING ‼ WARNING ‼ WARNING ‼ If I can give this business -10, stars I would. Save your money save your clothes and save your aggravation, frustration and anger by taking your clothes somewhere else. Today was the last day I continue to give my business to this company R Cleaners. When they get it right, they do a decent job, but when something goes wrong, they are quick to cast the blame on you and do not accept responsibility for things that occur to your garments while in their custody. The three pictures in this post you'll see what look like spots on my wife's favorite blouse/tank top. When I dropped off this beautiful blouse to be cleaned, those spots were not there. When I picked it up, I picked it up along with several other items of clothing, including several suits, etc. it hung in the closet for about a month until my wife decided to use it. Maybe that's where I made the mistake of not checking the items before I left R Cleaners, not that it would've made any difference. I brought it back for a redo and I cannot tell you or describe the hard time. I was given number one it still had the dry cleaners purple tag on it so it hadn't been worn since it was picked up. Number two the reluctance in doing so was astonishing. They literally gave me a hard time for requesting a redo for a job. They did not do correctly or completely. I was told I had to come back later to speak to the owner. Well, I don't know how many of you just have several hours in the day where you're not doing anything where you have no responsibilities but to wait around until the owner returns to speak to you. I for one do not!! Not only do I have a corporate day job, but I also own a business, so it's not like I have spare hours in the day to deal with these trivialities, well that should be trivialities, but in retrospect, they have become a big problem. The Asian woman working at the desk doing the intake, literally took the garment, scratched the spots with her fingernail, looked at me in the eye, and said this is glue, then proceeded to walk around the desk and hold it up in the light in front of me, as if I didn't believe what she was saying. That was insulting, however that wasn't the only problem. When I told her it is impossible that it is glue because one it would make no sense for my wife to be putting glue either intentionally or accidentally on the front and the back of her blouse. I said perhaps it is drops of starch, she insisted it was glue. She then insisted I take the garment with me. I said no you're going to redo it and I'm leaving it here. If I am able, I will return and speak to the owner at the appointed time which would've been a couple of hours later in the day. The weekend came and went. I went today to pick it up again. She said to me "no it is glue. We did not do this. We do not have glue". She pretty much said there's nothing they will do then she criticize me for not bringing in sooner she said, pointing at purple tags, they use for their laundry service. This was over a month ago. I explained to her that it wasn't until my wife wanted to wear it that we noticed the issue and I brought it in immediately. Still deflecting not accepting any kind of culpability she said no charge.. if I can give this business -10 stars I would. There are a lot of dry cleaners in this area canyon lake, Lake, Elsinore, Menifee, Wildomar, Marietta, Temecula, etc.. I can only recommend you take your business elsewhere and save yourself the regret, the frustration, and the anger of dealing with this business. Sadly, this was not the first time that something like this happened, the first time I also had to put up a big stink and reluctantly they re-laundered the garment and they came back fine. I should've learned my lesson the first time, but sometimes you need to get burned more than wants to know that the fire is hot.. read more

If there are negative stars, I would give them -10 stars. I dropped off my suit and they said that I can pick it up on Saturday. I explained to them that I am busy Saturday and if I can pick it up on Sunday or Monday. They said Sunday they are closed and that I can pick it up on Monday. That Monday was Memorial Day (5/26/25), I confirmed that they will be open and the lady said yes we will be open. I went to pick it up on Monday, and to my surprise they were closed. They had a small piece of paper saying that they are closed on Monday for Memorial Day. It was taped on the register inside the store. I rushed to buy a brand new suit from the mall because I needed it for that evening. Fast forward, I went out of town and came back to pick it up. I asked to speak with the owner and it took him three trips to come to the front of the store. I barely started to explain what happened to him, and he would let me even finish one sentence. He kept saying it doesn't matter, you didn't come on time, it's not our issue and so on. When he stopped with his nasty attitude, I started to explain to him what happened. So he took my suit from the bar and he put it back on the rack in the back and he said you are not getting them till you pay. I said I will pay for sure but listen to what I have to say. He started calling names, which at that point I knew I will not come back to that place again, and that I will take my business somewhere else. I paid and after paying he wanted to keep yelling and calling names. So I took my suit and walked out. I've been taking my clothes here for last few years. I've had my wedding dress cleaned, my dresses and pants tailored & I've always been very happy with their service. Good people & quick turnaround time too. I recently spilled coffee on my jeans, shirts, and jacket and they removed most of them. Jeans and jacket came back very clean (they were my fav THANK YOU ). The guy told me he can try my shirt again, but it can be damaged for overdoing it. I like that he was honest about the spots that couldn't be removed. I'm a loyal customer!! read more

If I could give a zero star I would! This place is a scam and a rip off. I brought in some blouses to be cleaned and when I came to pick them up, she charged me for long dresses. Blouses are 4.99 and a long dress is 12.99 I told the lady do these look like dresses ... they're shirts. She argued with me and was super unprofessional. This place used to be good and was a little expensive but close so I didn't have an issue. Recently their prices skyrocketed. I had them hem a pair of shorts about a year ago. It was $8 and they didn't do a good job so I didn't wear them. I ended up cutting out the hem and asked them to just reinforce the side. It was literally a 1 inch sew and they charged me $14. I could have bought new shorts for that. Took my shirt to be cleaned. They kept saying it was a dress and I corrected them. Went to pick up and they tried charging me for a dress. I corrected them again that it was a shirt. They gave me a few dollars off but still extremely expensive and not worth it. I won't be going back here read more
