Been coming here for just over a year to get my dry cleaning done and the owners Brian and Anna do nothing short of making you feel like family. With the new hybrid work environments I only come in with 3-4 items a month but the owners seem to remember everyone's name and the previous conversations we've had. $70 501 LEVIS ruined...we are so upset we picked them up last Thursday and they have been hung up in the closet since and today my bf took them out to wear them and he notices this! This is so messed up because I've never had this happen to us before! We will definitely not go back to them! And on top of that the jeans still had stains like that's so crazy what did we pay for ?? No matter the day..no matter the time I am always greeted. All the employees I have encountered are polite, helpful and conversational. I had to pick up my laundry so I checked the hours on yelp. It says 7pm closing. I got there a few minutes before 6. The gentleman there was super nice as I apologized for coming after their posted closing time of 5. He said no worries sometimes he stays late doing things. He even helped me carry my laundry to my car. Great customer service is the best, especially during these crazy times. read more

This is my first time receiving dry cleaning services from Lewis Cleaners. While I appreciated the price and the flexibility to have my items ready in 2 days (over the Thanksgiving holiday), I found a couple of issues with their service. 1 - I didn't get notified when my dry cleaning would be ready for pickup. I thought it was weird that they'd take down my number, give me a rough estimate ("it should be done Saturday" but note that my puffer might not dry in time) and not contact me. Then I called Sunday to check just to find out that they aren't even open on Sundays. 2 - I brought in a red puffer jacket to get dry cleaned and noticed they poked a huge safety pin through it. I wouldn't mind this if they had pinned this through the tag or through a seam, but they should know puffer jackets have an insulated filling, and the hole left behind has been releasing little bits of this filling since I removed the pin. I also brought in two other coats (one wool, one wool blend) the same time, but haven't received them yet as they're left at my mother's. I really hope that the safety pin did not damage my other coats. read more

First thing I noticed entering the doors was laughter, smiles, and a friendly atmosphere. They treated me like an old friend or at least a regular. But here's the real surprise: I brought in my black sport coat which somehow seemed more wrinkled than it should be. When I picked it up the next day (super rush without a rush charge) it was like new and I wore it to a professional business convention. Then when I returned home and hung up my coat I noticed another black coat--my good one! I had accidentally brought in the old, inexpensive, thrashed around sport coat which was intended to go to a thrift shop, and Lewis Cleaners made it look brand new and actually worthy of a class business meeting! With a smile no less. And the clincher: There was a notice on the counter that they would close early on Halloween to take their grandchild trick-or-treating. Says a lot about the owners. read more

Basically, he criticized me for something that gives him business. What does he care as long as i pay for the service. After that i stopped coming here. I've been using them as my dry cleaner for several years because my neighbor hood dry cleaner lacks the appropriate social skill to run a business that deals with the public. Anyhow, they're very friendly regardless of who is working in the facility on any given day. They know me by name - a huge plus!!! Their prices are fair and the couple times over the years that something didn't quite come out clean - no questions asked, they simply re-cleaned it for me. On occasion they do rush jobs for me at no extra price. I did read the comment about writing your name on the tag. I've been coming here for 6-7 years and every shirt, pants, tie, etc. I bring in....when I pick it up it has a little tag with my last name printed on it with a series of numbers and a day of the week that is somehow stapled to the garment (shirts on the tag, pants on a belt loop, ties on the backside where the tag is). I took a Formal Gown here to be cleaned and when I picked it up it still looked dirty and stained! I asked them (Brian) to try and clean it again and he said it wouldn't come clean and refused to try any further! He also said Dresses like mine were kind of a one time wear thing! No way a $500.00 dress is a one time wear! He told me to get a second opinion from another cleaner and I did. I went to Central Cleaners she said no problem and got my Dress cleaned the first time! I did call Brian and let him know the outcome and all he said was "I'm glad it came clean" I will never use Lewis Cleaners again and you shouldn't either! Very Poor Customer Service!
