To the owner: I didn't ask for a decaffeinated version. I asked for a Taro Ocean and expected a Taro Ocean. Its also nice to know you water down drinks without informing the customer. I suppose you left that part out. I have gone here numerous times since it's opening. It is by far the most delicious boba on the planet and the staff is normally incredibly friendly. So, why do I rarely go and why the low rating??? It's because staff is so poorly trained that they do not know the menu to the point where you have a 50/50 shot of getting an incorrect order. For instance, one time I ordered a King Brûlée and ended up with a crème brûlée coffee. Upon stating the error, I was told the King Brûlée contained coffee while pointing at the menu next to the register and showing them it didn't. Today was ludicrous. I go in stating that I would like the drink with the tarp and jasmine tea and didn't know the name except it had the word "ocean" in it. The girl behind the counter asks "A Taro Ocean?" to which I say yes. I leave to find there is no tea in my drink. I return to, I swear to God, to be told that "Most of our workers don't make it with jasmine tea." I ordered the brown sugar milk tea and my husband got the taro crush. Both drinks were good, but not our favorite. The milk tea tasted a little bitter at first sip, but once the syrup mixed in more, it tasted good. The drinks are definitely on the pricier side, it kind of feels like you're paying extra for the aesthetic cup and branding. That said, the location is really cute, the inside was clean, and the self-order kiosks made ordering quick and easy. The menu was also very straightforward and simple to navigate. Would I come back? Been here many times now. When I first started writing this, I had been to this location twice. That same day, my wife and I went to the Temecula location. I had a horrible experience there--attitude plus I got skipped by the redhead. So, I only ordered my wife's and skipped myself. I stopped at the Menifee location on the way home to order mine. Hello, I was just at Krak boba on Sunday September 6th We must have got there around 9:30 when we were in line to order a drink off of the self order screen We heard a worker tell the people in front of us under his breathe without wanting us to hear that they can get them some boba because it said "out of stock" on the screen on the boba selection So hearing that I think to myself that he is going to do the same for us, but when I politely ask the worker (young man) if there was a chance that we could also get some boba and he proceeds to tell me that there was no boba. Service needs work. I've gone 3 times since they've opened and have had to wait at least 20 minutes each time for a few drinks. With at least 4 people making drinks, it doesn't make sense. I understand that they just opened, but I prefer if they waited until the workers had more training before opening. They should also be consistent with their drinks since they're a franchise. Sometimes the Lychee Tea has actual lychee bits in it and then sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes they'll give you a full scoop of boba and then other days they'll only give you half. The workers are also not very well-trained on the menu either. I asked the cashier if the Sun Bright had actual fruit slices in it, and she said no. When I received my drink, guess what I found in it. Yep. Fruit slices. I told a worker about it, but he didn't offer to remake it or remove the fruit. I had to go home and remove it myself which made it difficult to enjoy. What made it more annoying was that two people were overseeing the cashier who witnessed me ask her yet neither of them corrected her. That probably means that they don't know their menu either. * Lychee Tea: 8/10 - actual lychee bits (sometimes) * Sun Bright: 7/10 - basically orange juice * Boba (Topping): 10/10 - still soft and chewy even after a couple of hours The workers were very nice and welcoming each time that we came. The shop is located in a plaza with some limited parking, but people are always coming in and out so it shouldn't be too difficult finding a spot. This is my 4th or 5th boba place in Menifee and I must say Krak is my favorite! Been here for the first time yesterday, the decor, the atmosphere the menu all good! The mini boba was a new thing for me, and I have to say, it's VERY chewy!! Lol I didn't finish it all so I put it in the fridge overnight and was pleasantly surprised to find that the boba was less chewy and easier to break down if that makes sense. I liked the drink as it wasn't super sugary. Owner Carlo came out and was greeting customers, myself included. Nice guy! He also introduced ne to his wife and one of their employees, Michael. This place is interesting, It's part of a chain of stores, and the drinks were pretty good. It was our first time visiting and we were greeted and and they explained the different drinks options for me and my kids. They also mentioned that if you sign up for their App and create an Account you get a buy one, get one free for your first drink order. So we signed up and took advantage. I liked their Matcha Storm and my kids got the Sunset Passion, and the Thai Milk Tea. They were all pretty good and if you get a Large it's easily shareable between two kids. It's a small retail location with a few chairs and bench seats for you to wait for your drink order or to hang out and enjoy your drink with your friends if it's not too crowded. Of course the kids loved it (all kids love sugar) and the Matcha Storm was something I would come back for once in a while. Ok this is my new favorite drink. I love it. You can actually taste the subtle coconut flavor. Its much lighter than other thai teas. Unless you go to a real thai restaurant, honestly Thai tea just isnt right. I loved this rendition of thai tea ! Traditional thai tea has to be perfect or it will always fall flat. I ordered a brown sugar matcha with boba and oat milk, but it just didn't taste right..I could barely taste the matcha. i asked if it would be okay to switch to a Maui Waui with boba instead, especially since it would've actually been cheaper than the $9.50 I already paid. the girl working around 3:20pm (brown hair, I think) didn't seem to care very much, and the whole interaction just felt a little off. she remade the drink, but even after I asked for boba and she acknowledged it, it wasn't added..she also didn't really look at me when handing it back out, which made me feel like I had done something wrong for asking. i already get pretty anxious about situations like this, so even asking in the first place was hard for me.
