I'm usually a really BIG tipper but when you pay just short of six $$$ dollars for a single pastry these days, I don't see why you should tip when basically all someone has to do is ring it up for you and throw it in a bag.You know what I mean? So lately, for the first time in my life I'm starting to not tip at places like this. I feel a bit guilty, but I am retired. I think the way to do it is to throw a dollar in there every third visit or something, just my feeling. A cumulative tip.Ha! Anyway, the staff is always real pleasant and kind. I just overheard a gentleman say to his wife as he was walking out the door: "This tastes better than Starbucks" while sipping one of those fancy triple layered multicolored drinks. There is usually plenty of outdoor seating and easy parking. There is also a bunch of great little shops nearby, including SEES candy and a handful of restaurants, etc. Target, Michaels, HomeGoods, you know the normal Mini-Mall "flif-flof'. It's a very pleasant spot. Look for: "COUNTRYSIDE MARKETPLACE " just off of Newport/Haun Rd near Highway 215. Let me pop back inside and throw a couple of shekels in the "tip jar"! Service was extremely friendly, the gentleman who I was chatting with was very professional and quick! My coffee was done in less than 2 minutes, it was the most amazing thing I've seen in a while. This is the hybrid concept done right: a fully modern laundromat paired with a real espresso bar and coffee lounge - with legit coffee. Women-owned and family-run, and it shows in the care everywhere you look. The equipment is serious -- 50 Speed Queen Quantum Touch machines, all on a coinless card system that accepts cash, credit, debit, and tap-to-pay (leave the quarters at home - I did). Self-serve and full-service fluff-and-fold are both available, with non-toxic detergents, and they even donate unclaimed lost-and-found items to a local shelter. The hours are generous, and it doubles as a real community hub with food trucks and pop-up events. Fresh local bagels and pastries round out the coffee menu. You go there enough and the employees will start to recognize you lol Everyone from the owner to the employees are all friendly and I don't ever have to wait long. My husband has to wait a bit when he goes, but when he's picking up 8 drinks on Boba Fridays right when they open, that's expected.
