The food was alright. I forgot to take photos until we were down to just one slice of the Mediterranean pizza, but we ordered 2 salads, 2 garlic breads, and 5 large pizzas. I think the salad and garlic bread were a bit lackluster, but the pizza was pretty good. All of the pizzas had a nice thin crust, and I like how creative some of the toppings were. Came here after State Cup 2026. Was a little skeptical, but so glad we gave it chance. Came in as a party of 45. We did reserve the space, and it was ready for us. Food came in hot and delicious. All the boys loved the wings and the pizza. The space was perfect for us, and the staff was outstanding. They really went out of their way to keep us happy, from bringing out hot food, and keeping the soda machine refilled with cherry coke, to keeping all the dads pitchers of beer flowing. The music was great and the cookies are so good as well. My husband and I ordered 2 sandwiches, the meatball which as good. I do wish the bread was better quality to hold up to the sandwich. It's great when it comes out a little crispy, but the sauce was good and meatballs are very meaty. The husband ordered the submarine. It fresh cut deli met nd the bred was great with it. Both sandwiches are large enough to share, but if you're hungry and aren't metering else, you could finish it. This last time prompted me to write a review. we walked in and sat down. After 4-5 minutes the server/cashier came over and asked "why are you here"? Second time eating here with a small group. The service was outstanding, with server Vince quietly noticing that we were casually celebrating a birthday. When our pizzas were consumed he brought out cookies with lit candles surprising everyone with the gesture. We spontaneously broke into the birthday song for our birthday gal and his thoughtfulness made our day. The three pizzas we ordered were good, with lots of veggies on the 'Tom' pizza and meat overload on the all meat pizza that was semi customized for us. The Hawaiian pizza had lots of meat as well. The Gorgonzola salad was good but needs an extra ingredient added to it to make it well balanced. The antipasto salad was very good. The names are a little fun and silly but that doesn't mean the pizza is less than stellar. I usually order Love Potion #9 a white sauce pizza with chicken, Gorgonzola, tomatoes and cranberries...yup that's right, cranberries and it's an amazing flavor profile. For appetizers you can't go wrong with the garlic knot bread. Oh my lord, my family and I went through them fast! There's a jalapeño in olive oil dip that's shockingly good! It's not spicy but still has the perfect flavor to go with the bread. And then there's the cookies. I know, I know, it doesn't sound like much but they are darn good and it isn't too heavy; it has a nice little bit of sweetness after a savory meal. The Service & Cost: I've visited this business many times over the years and I have never had a bad experience or anything less than awesome! I went there for my mom's birthday and they surprised us by treating us to cookies! We were shocked and didn't expect anything. They were so super nice and friendly, we were just happy at the warm greetings. This is why small businesses are so valuable as a customer. They know how to appreciate their customers, something I can't say for some of the more bougie places in downtown San Diego. The price value is a little steep but reasonable as cost and ingredients are expensive, it's hard to turn a profit now. In total between the larger custom pizza, garlic knots and fountain drinks, it was less than $50.00! Overall, me and my family will definitely return, eat, and maybe order some pizzas to go. The Ambiance: it's small and a bit tucked away from the main street, it's right off the ramp when you exit the freeway. It's a bit spacious, not too cramped, but humble and a good standard restaurant; nothing gaudy or cheesy. And the restroom is single person use for the women's and very clean. I have been going here for 32 years. We have had graduation parties, baby showers, and prom nights. When Carol was the owner it was out favorite place! Tonight the staff were rude and made several mistakes with our order. Got there at 8:09 and they told us we had to leave at 9:02 because they closed at 9:00. We hadn't even finished. They turned the lights out on us as we were leaving at 9:23. Food wasn't as good and we felt so sad. New ownership has hired terrible staff and is cutting quality. We will not be back. Seems that when we do pass by, we have usually had just about enough of the Temecula traffic (takes f o r e v e r) coming from the Vail Lake direction, and the freeway is just another block away. I immediately looked to the menu to find the Mediterrano was still available and still dynamic. I asked about how they were made but told to pack it and given some far fetched coverup story. BEST GARLIC KNOTS EVER. When you buy them, the olive oil squirts out . . . be careful. So darn tasty. Also we were introduced to the jalapeños in olive oil. WOW!!! Another great treat. You gotta ask for 'em. I believe everything is house made because even the salad dressings tasted unique and delicious. Speaking with the recent owners (about 6 months new), and who has been working here for 15 of the 30+ years this place has been here, showing and tasting with me all of the wonderful creations. This place is bomb and we will now forever make the turn into the parking lot before getting onto the freeway. The walls are covered with "Spaghetti Western" movie posters. Super interesting, yet I didn't see any pasta on the menu. Also, not sure but I also didn't readily recognize there being any TVs. Plenty of room inside and outside. It was plenty of room and was such a fun space. Bryson helped us to create a menu for everyone which was plenty of food: Antipasta salad- delicious, well balanced, not greasy, really really tasty. I found out about this place through a colleague who heated up left overs that smelled so good I just had to ask. My colleague recommended the fried pepperoni chips, garlic knots and their jalapeño/pesto dipping sauces. I ordered all of her recommendations and the steak Stromboli. The fried pepperoni chips, garlic knots and their jalapeño/pesto dipping sauces are must orders! I don't know if they sell wine. But I'd go there just to eat the appetizers with some wine. I thought the pesto sauce had some kick to it and the jalapeño sauce wasn't spicy at all. The jalapeño was more of a oil dipping sauce. I loved both so I can't even choose a favorite. I like dipping the the fried pepperoni and garlic knots in both sauces. The steak Stromboli is excellent if you like mushroom. I thought it was huge so I'd split it with someone. I placed my order for pick up and I when I got there saw their cookies. The girl working there was so nice and was going over the different cookie flavors with me.
