After five years of living in Temecula, I've not found many pizza joints I'd go back to... Bottega Italia and Stadium. But my daughter, who has taken tons of cooking classes, told me about Vail, and she was RIGHT! It's really great. They use the right cheese so it covers the pie (cubed) without leaving gaping holes or the cheese being too thick. The crusts are brushed with garlic butter, no humongous bubbles (from prepping the crust correctly), and great ingredients all around. A cheese pizza only runs $9. And frankly, two people could share it... Maybe not two giant high school males, but normal people could easily. This is now our go-to moving forward. Oh... they do have a few TVs running sports, but they're not BLARING. You can barely hear them. It's a clean, peaceful place. LOVE IT! read more

Ac runs great here !! It's a build your own pizza kind of joint like blaze and pieology. Customer service is on point. They have a lot of indoor seating and limited outdoor seating. You can probably do a party of 6-8 people but wouldn't suggest anything more than that. I did a chutney base instead of traditional sauce.. and I'm glad I made the change. Bomb !! We got recommended this place while shopping in the area, the outside area is a little bit like a ranch. The inside smells amazing and they give you pizza options or make one from scratch. They create the pizza in front of you and put it in the oven. They have a few TVs to watch the games during the season. We take our grandchildren to eat there at least twice a week and I never encountered any issues! Pizzas are made fresh and they will place as much toppings as you want. My daughter and I worked up an appetite from shopping in the area, so we decided to grab a bite here. I was very pleased with this local owned business and glad that we chose to eat here versus the fast food restaurants in the surrounding area. I appreciated the options on the menu and that we could choose our flavor of dough, sauce, and toppings for our pizza. After preparing the pizza in front of us, they then placed it in the open fired oven. After all these years, I have finally made my way out to Vail pizzeria all because my son's soccer team had an end of the season get together here. Why did I wait so long?! Basically, the pizza there are individual sized I would say. They have a menu where you can pick off a list of signature, pizza they make or you can create your own! I chose to create my own. I had a pizza with red sauce, mozzarella, sausage, mushroom, onion, pepperoncini, bell pepper and artichoke. While you pick your toppings, you're standing on the other side of them and watch them create your pizza.! The pizzas come out quick, The crust was crispy as it's a thin crust and very tasty! The ppl that work there are helpful and very nice. Hope to get back there soon. Loved the outside atmosphere hanging out on the benches..enjoyed our delicious pizzas in a very chill place. This time around I decided to order a 14" Vail BBQ Chicken Pizza and an order of Garlic Cheesy Bread. I have had BBQ Chicken Pizzas from different restaurant chains but what I like about this one is it wasn't greasy and all the toppings were fresh. The Garlic Cheesy bread was cut into smaller pieces which was perfect for me since I got full pretty quickly. I give this a five because of the convenience and the simplicity of it. They are small pizzas that are enough for one or two people, depending how much you eat. Their salads are delicious. We always order thin crust so we don't get so filled up on the bread. Not sure if that's all they sell but we always ask for it. Their menu is slim but for us it's all we need. It's located in the Vail Ranch area next to Bare Knuckles Brewery, so when we go have a beer we can order pizza and pick it up next-door. Love that! read more

I've been coming here for a while now but lately I've noticed that the quality of the ingredients has really gone down. Yesterday I ordered a veggie pizza and as the server was placing the vegetables I noticed that the spinach was dull and wilted; the mushrooms were super brown; and the onions were dry as if chopped last week. The artichoke too was dry and unappetizing. When you think about a veggie pizza you think "healthy fresh ingredients" that are bright in color and freshness. They ordered personal pizzas to their liking and on top of that they loved the pizza itself, the thin oven cooked crust mixed with the right amount of sauce and cheese with an abundance of toppings had them eating each slice with happiness.
