It's hard to find banh mi in the area so I'm so glad we stumbled across this spot! They have a nice variety of wings and banh mi and their portions are extremely generous. Wings are nice and crunchy with a good amount of sauce. Banh mi has the perfect ratio of crunchy carrots and bread and meat. My only wish is that they'd get bigger cups for water lol. A small establishment at the corner of a strip mall. The girl at the counter was so nice! She was very knowledgeable and was so helpful with her recommendations. We ended up ordering 5 lemon pepper wings, brown butter fries and rib eye garlic wings. I'll save the best review for last. The fries were crispy and the seasoning was the perfect combo of salty and sweet. I didn't care much for the brown butter sauce but dipped it in their ranch and it was so good. The garlic noodles were ok. I wanted them with the pork belly but they were sold out. So we tried it with the rib eye. The steak was a little dry but the noodles were pretty tasty. Now the wings...they were perfectly crisp. If the seasoning on the fries were good, the lemon pepper on that chicken was fire!! I loved them! My boyfriend and I randomly found this place while we were on our way to Temecula and honestly what a hidden gem. Literally one of the best wings I've ever had in my life. Vietnamese wings NEVER disappoint me but this place exceeded my expectations. The Cilantro Parm Wings were stupid good, so flavorful and the sauce was good I don't know why someone hasn't thought of this flavor combination soon. The Banh Mi Fries was one of the best fries I've ever had. The meat was so good and all the Banh toppings on the fires were perfect. Whoever invented that dish is a genius seriously so smart and so good. The Garlic Noodles were surprisingly good, I wasn't really expecting much but so flavorful and probably one of the best garlic noodles I ever had as well. I like how it was like a garlic sauce vs a garlic oily sauce which is what I see at most places. Portion sizes are huge, if I'm ever in the area I would come back just to try more of this menu. We discovered this hidden gem in our area, as one of the few places that still offers bahn mi. The inside is covered in chicken phrases and is very sleek looking. Their menu has quite the variety, bahn mi sandwiches plus fried chicken. We ordered one of each, and the chicken wings (10) have a huge range of sauces. Stopped by this shop on our way to LA. It's in a strip mall with other businesses, tucked in the corner. There's ample parking so you don't have to fight for it. Came in and the server/cashier immediately greeted us. You can sit anywhere you like and order at the cash register. We took our time choosing our items because everything sounded so good. We eventually ordered the salt and pepper wings and original mi. The salt and pepper wings had a nice crunch to its exterior. It had this airy consistency, which was surprisingly so so good. It didn't feel heavy and oily when you eat it. The interior was so moist and it was served hot hot hot. There was enough flavor to it and not too salty. The bits of garlic was great and I loved it. The original mi had this bread that was like a cloud. I know that's such an odd description but it was so soft. I like all types of bread and this was pretty good. There was a good amount of meat inside and an even distribution of vegetables. The pate was a little too runny for me but it was still good flavor. Our only minor complaint is that it was a little pricey but I get it, that's just how it is these days. In any case, it's delicious and we would definitely come back again to try their other flavors. If I could review this place less than 1 star I would. I went here for the first time & was actually excited since I've seen this place on Temecula talk and the good reviews on yelp. As soon as I had a bite of the garlic noodles they tasted rotten. The French fries were made in super old oil and tasted horrible. The Cajun sauce was actually mayo with a hint of some kind of buffalo sauce. I enjoyed my wings and I called the place to tell the owner about my experience and he was beyond rude. Instead of being respectful, he kept saying how I'm wrong and he just made me food. I've never in my life called a restaurant after having a bad experience but the food genuinely tasted putrid. Always curious about this spot because I've seen a lot of people go in and out while I'm at the other restaurants in the plaza. Then I started to see it on social media. Went 30 mins before closing. Customer service could be better. Dining area is worn. I hope they can upgrade their trash cans and fix up their restroom. Water from the faucet barely came out. We ate inside and left at closing. I ordered the original banh mi and it was stuffed and delicious. The bread was perfect both crispy and soft. The only knock on the banh mi was it could have used more acidity with the pickled vegetables. Other than that it was perfect, all the meats were so tender and tasty. Customer service was great by the cashier as well. She was friendly and guided me to get the Original banh mi. I wished the restaurant and signage was a bit brighter because we thought it was closed. Some liked the cheese, some didn't. The ube wings flavor was a surprise, kinda tasted like sprinkling ube waffles into the chicken coating. The tamarind was really sweet, but they gave slices of lime which really helped. We also tried their taro horchata and watermelon passion fruit drinks, but for us they were way too sweet. They do charge a 3.5 (or 3.7? Can't remember exactly) percent fee for paying with credit card though, which I understand, but it's just a bit annoying to handle cash when you're about to eat with your hands. There is a restroom to wash up, but the floor by the soda machine on the way there was sticky. Look forward to trying more items on the menu! read more

Burnt meat, an over watery sauce, spoiled vegetables (my cucumbers were so bitter and completely inedible for ex.) the papaya lime agua Fresca was all sugar and no agua, it tasted like drinking straight syrup. Idk if the cooks have changed, but it's just not the same. Came in for lunch at 11:15, no one else there, waited 30 minutes for two meals with no apology and was never checked in on once. Just before 11 AM, a man inside the restaurant ran up the door and taped a piece of paper on the door saying it would open at 11:30 AM, looking at me rudely all the while. Ordered the rice rice baby box and was told that they ran out of ingredients so they improvised. They was only after I checked my order upon leaving. Going out to eat in Murrietta is not a daily practice for us. It's a good drive from our home, so we decided to make made it a family lunchtime adventure after my son read some really good reviews. Sadly, it was not as expected. But not all bad, so read all the way through. Garlic noodles. Regardless of the meat topping, it just didn't work. The thick egg noodles were just too heavy and really overwhelmed the enticing asian flavors they were trying to achieve. The Bahn Mi Fries were nearly the same outcome. In both cases, the toppings, both meat and raw vegetables, were prepared exactly the same as what you would find on a traditional Bahn mi sandwich. We tried several meats...beef, pork, and chicken, and while they were each nicely charred, the bottom line flavors were lacking. The nori tacos were equally a letdown. I enjoyed the fried nori itself, but the filling (meat, sticky rice, pickled julienned veggies) was simply another bread-free, Bahn mi attempt. For one, too much rice. I have to admit however, that the "taco" shell itself, made from nori sheets that have been dipped in a light tempura batter, fried to a crispy finish, and shaped into a "taco" shell, was delightful. The rest of the family was not so receptive. The Chop Chop is a meal of thinly sliced, marinated and grilled pork chops served over a classic, japanese, sticky, seasoned rice, a fried egg, and lots of those pickled, Bahn mi veggies. Ok, but not great. The meat was tender and charred, but lacked my favorite Vietnamese flavors, even after pouring the sweet fish sauce dressing on it. But there is one happy note to this review. The chicken wings were the star of the show and helped to redeem our otherwise disappointed mood. They are big, plump pieces that have been well marinated in a lovely asian marinade, lightly breaded, and freshly cooked to perfection. The salt and pepper flavor may sound boring, but they are far from it. Delicious even without adding sauces! Try these first, and then you can graduate to the other flavors. They are sold in batches of 5, 10, 15, or 20 pieces. (It is a pity what our economy has done to what used to be a tasty, fun appetizer, now paying $3+ just to eat one entire wing (2 pieces). At least *here* they are bigger, meatier than most.) My take on this place is to stick with the chicken wings. The Asian Fusion concept of most of their menu items did not meet our standards. The wings are the only thing that would lure me to return. read more

Stopped at this place while passing through Temecula on Saturday Aug 8 at 6 pm. The place had good ratings at the time and the menu looked appetizing. First thing I noticed was the pricing came out to $72 for 2 people, ordered fries, wings, spring rolls, shrimp, Thai tea and $5 tip, and had the food been amazing I wouldn't have minded. First things first, the Thai tea had a weird taste to it. I still kept my hopes up all 45 minutes of waiting for the food. At the 45 minute mark, we noticed that half of our food was waiting on the kitchen counter, so we asked if we could have it. The front counter lady said almost all our food was ready and for us to wait, but we insisted that we get whatever was ready at the moment since we were hungrily waiting and it was not busy at all. We get whatever was there and then when the last part of our food was ready, the front counter lady tossed the box at the table. I checked the box to feel if it was too hot to be held but it was temperate enough. I realized she tossed the box purposely. Still, I was hungry and needed my first meal of the day. I started off with the buffalo wings and they were comparable to Pizza Hut's wings in every way possible and not in a good way. It's like Tyson's frozen wings that were placed in an oven and tossed in a cheap buffalo sauce from your nearest supermarket. The spring rolls were flimsy and not what I was expecting for the price, very basic but not even as good as any traditional Vietnamese restaurant. The shrimp were decent but extremely greasy /oily. The bhan mi fries had good pork meat but again extremely oily / greasy. I only ate a few bites just enough to satiate my hunger to find somewhere else to eat and left the majority of the food. Overall, extremely disappointed with the quality of the food, especially the wings because it is supposed to be a wing place, and terrible service that awaits you when eating at the place. This place is truly a good hidden gem; I love the fusion of banh mi twist to the classics that we loved. The staff was also very nice and accommodating to our need. He quickly letting us know the food we ordered is out of stock and willing to exchange for no extra cost; so my husband changed from Nashville chicken mi to the original mi with Thai tea.
