Nori taco

It's hard to find banh mi in the area so I'm so glad we stumbled across this spot! They have a nice variety of wings and banh mi and their portions are extremely generous. Wings are nice and crunchy with a good amount of sauce. Banh mi has the perfect ratio of crunchy carrots and bread and meat. My only wish is that they'd get bigger cups for water lol. They give you the teeniest little plastic cup and you end up having to refill it a thousand times. That aside this place is awesome!

A small establishment at the corner of a strip mall. The girl at the counter was so nice! She was very knowledgeable and was so helpful with her recommendations. We ended up ordering 5 lemon pepper wings, brown butter fries and rib eye garlic wings. I'll save the best review for last. The fries were crispy and the seasoning was the perfect combo of salty and sweet. I didn't care much for the brown butter sauce but dipped it in their ranch and it was so good. The garlic noodles were ok. I wanted them with the pork belly but they were sold out. So we tried it with the rib eye. The steak was a little dry but the noodles were pretty tasty. Now the wings...they were perfectly crisp. If the seasoning on the fries were good, the lemon pepper on that chicken was fire!! I loved them! I also got the taro horchata which was good but on the sweet side. Overall loved this place and highly recommend. I would wanna try this place again to see what other chicken flavors I might like.

REGULAR FRIES

If I could review this place less than 1 star I would. I went here for the first time & was actually excited since I've seen this place on Temecula talk and the good reviews on yelp. As soon as I had a bite of the garlic noodles they tasted rotten. The French fries were made in super old oil and tasted horrible. The Cajun sauce was actually mayo with a hint of some kind of buffalo sauce. I enjoyed my wings and I called the place to tell the owner about my experience and he was beyond rude. Instead of being respectful, he kept saying how I'm wrong and he just made me food. I've never in my life called a restaurant after having a bad experience but the food genuinely tasted putrid. After spending almost $40 to not eat my food and horrible customer service, I do NOT recommend this place whatsoever.

Cilantro parm wings

My boyfriend and I randomly found this place while we were on our way to Temecula and honestly what a hidden gem. Literally one of the best wings I've ever had in my life. Vietnamese wings NEVER disappoint me but this place exceeded my expectations. The Cilantro Parm Wings were stupid good, so flavorful and the sauce was good I don't know why someone hasn't thought of this flavor combination soon. The Banh Mi Fries was one of the best fries I've ever had. The meat was so good and all the Banh toppings on the fires were perfect. Whoever invented that dish is a genius seriously so smart and so good. The Garlic Noodles were surprisingly good, I wasn't really expecting much but so flavorful and probably one of the best garlic noodles I ever had as well. I like how it was like a garlic sauce vs a garlic oily sauce which is what I see at most places. Portion sizes are huge, if I'm ever in the area I would come back just to try more of this menu. I hope people recognize this place's greatness ! So unexpected and so impressive!

OMG I ordered 10 wings for $17 to go, came home to found out all the chicken wings are bad meat, I mean they stink like expired meat, I have ordered wings everywhere never had such bad quality chicken wings, no it's not the sauce it's the chicken itself are bad rotten meat

We discovered this hidden gem in our area, as one of the few places that still offers bahn mi. The inside is covered in chicken phrases and is very sleek looking. Their menu has quite the variety, bahn mi sandwiches plus fried chicken. We ordered one of each, and the chicken wings (10) have a huge range of sauces. We tried the Thai peanut sauce, which had a nice flavor to it. The bahn mi sandwich was delicious and tasty. Plenty for two people. Overall the prices are quite reasonable and the ambiance was nice and chill. Check this place out!

SALT & PEPPER

Stopped by this shop on our way to LA. It's in a strip mall with other businesses, tucked in the corner. There's ample parking so you don't have to fight for it. Came in and the server/cashier immediately greeted us. You can sit anywhere you like and order at the cash register. We took our time choosing our items because everything sounded so good. We eventually ordered the salt and pepper wings and original mi. The salt and pepper wings had a nice crunch to its exterior. It had this airy consistency, which was surprisingly so so good. It didn't feel heavy and oily when you eat it. The interior was so moist and it was served hot hot hot. There was enough flavor to it and not too salty. The bits of garlic was great and I loved it. The original mi had this bread that was like a cloud. I know that's such an odd description but it was so soft. I like all types of bread and this was pretty good. There was a good amount of meat inside and an even distribution of vegetables. The pate was a little too runny for me but it was still good flavor. Our only minor complaint is that it was a little pricey but I get it, that's just how it is these days. In any case, it's delicious and we would definitely come back again to try their other flavors. Btw, the server did say that there are specials on certain days, so might try going then.

Wow, just wow! Great food, great service, & great portions! Came in right before closing & the owner really helped us out. Garlic noodles, black garlic fries, & salt & pepper wings were all 10/10.

I've been coming frequently since they opened a few years ago. I can consistently say their customer service has always been amazing! Their food is really flavorful and it is nice to see a fusion of the foods I love (especially food that's difficult to find in the area). My usual order is banh mi fries and the salt and pepper wings. I love bringing my friends and family here and they always enjoy it as much as me. I am always super happy to support this local business (:

GARLIC NOODLE, TAMARIND THAI, SALT & PEPPER
Mary X.

Always curious about this spot because I've seen a lot of people go in and out while I'm at the other restaurants in the plaza. Then I started to see it on social media. Went 30 mins before closing. Customer service could be better. Dining area is worn. I hope they can upgrade their trash cans and fix up their restroom. Water from the faucet barely came out. We ate inside and left at closing. We went to cold stones after and I saw the employees leaving pretty quickly after us. I'm not sure they even mopped the front of the house. They didn't have some of the items that I originally wanted. No fries or pandan green tea. Ordered the Tamarind Thai and Salt and Pepper wings and Garlic Noodles with beef. The garlic noodles were loaded with fried garlic topping. After a couple bites it was too salty. The beef was good. Same with the salt and pepper wings, after a while they were too salty. The tamarind Thai sorta tastes like pad thai. It was swimming in sauce though. Overall, it was okay. There wasn't anything else on the menu that I want to go back.

Lemon Pepper Wings & Parmesan Wings
Kam D.

The lemon pepper wings were hands down the best wings I've ever had-so delicious and CRISPY! So very yummy! The Parmesan wings were also very good. We also ordered Cajun fries. Everything was delicious! We will be back!

RICE RICE BABY

Great prices, portions, and awesome flavor. This place is definitely slept on. I wasn't expecting the wings to be as flavorful and juicy.. but these blew my socks off. Flavorful, juicy, and bang for buck. Didn't realize fried broccoli and shrimp would be this good. The rice rounds it out. Friendly people, cool place, would come back 100% to try the rest of the menu.

Run, run, run to try this new place!

Do the have any beer?

Nope, didn't see beer or any alcohol served here!

What in the world is nori tacos. Pics do not look appetizing. Does it taste better than it looks?

It's a taco, but the shell is nori (like sushi wrap) and this one is crispy like a taco to hold the inside in the nori shell. Can't knock it until you try it. I can't say it's good or not cause I like a lot of weird things. But the food there is good

Do you do party trays?

I'm sure they can just ask Sam

Do they actually sell half the menu or no? Tried ordering online and so much is listed as "out of stock", everything I wanted to try except the wings is unavailable.

I went and they had everything on the menu, and the food was great. Not sure what palette Norman has but he rated Panda Express 4 stars, so obviously not a good one.

Before I get to reviewing the sandwiches I want to mention the great stuff I saw at the meat counter that I will definitely come back for! They had chorizo, pork breakfast sausage, Hungarian pork sausage, two kinds of brats and more. Nice organic chickens, bone in skin on chicken thighs, and herb marinated half chickens. Their chickens are smaller than what they sell at supermarkets which tell me they are younger and more tender. The steaks....ohhhh the steaks! Wagu, Prime grade, rib-eyes, New York Strips, big shrimps, fish, etc. In the other cold case there was Duck, and other Duck related products, plus so much more I can't remember them all! Also, questioning the rotation and shelf life on the product. Quality; putting a first cut, wedge cut that was barely scraped in your counter is embarrassing. Rockin' Jay's looked at my weak soul and said "bet" -- then saved it in the best way possible. Counter girl hit me with a smile so bright I almost reached for sunglasses. The entire all-female crew was straight beast-mode at the open sandwich bar, slinging subs like they were on a mission from the sandwich gods. Atmosphere? Spacious as hell, proper New York deli that moonlights as a 70s rock dive -- screaming reds and greens, green booths, wooden tables, tiled floors, the whole retro package you see in the pics. The playlist was gloriously all over the place in the best way -- Contemporary Christian one minute, 2019 pop bangers the next, basically spanning six decades of straight fire. "Listen to your heart" came on and I damn near did while they built my baby. Every single pick was gold though. I ordered the 12" Capicola & Provolone ($16.69). I yelled "the works -- no mustard, drown me in onions and olives." They dropped an absolute beast of a sandwich... and it came perfectly toasted straight out the gate the way it should be. No sad "can you toast this?" negotiation. Golden, crunchy bread that cracks like it owes you money. Meat stacked stupid high, provolone doing its melty thing, then they buried the whole thing under an avalanche of fresh, snapping shredded lettuce and threw in those glossy peppers on the side like a mic drop. This thing is ridiculously messy -- oil dripping, lettuce flying, pure delicious chaos in every bite. Pro tip: there's no napkin dispenser at the tables, so you gotta go full scavenger hunt by the self-serve soda machine to grab your own stack. Worth every greasy finger and napkin raid. It fed this giant for two meals and left me still full, slightly greasy, and weirdly emotional. My spinach smoothie PTSD? Cured.
