We got the garlic soba noodles, steak stir-fry, and yellow curry, and every single dish was amazing. Not only was the food delicious, but it was also a great value. Our bill came to only about $69, including two beers, and we had enough leftovers for days! Me and my husband walked in and there was no one in sight so we walked closer to the cashier. There was a young lady who said we'll be right with you and another gentleman just carried food and passed us by. We decided to grab some menus and seat ourselves at a booth... It took 25 minutes for our food to come out! There were only 2 workers and they seemed very busy with about 7 tables of customers. Perhaps they were UNDER STAFFED... TURN OFF: We saw a few tables with dirty plates and dishes that were not picked up or cleaned up after customers had already left... SPICY FRIED RICE: 9/10 probably their best dishes are fried rice. I had a chunk of bell peppers stuck together. The ratio of rice seemed less than the veggies and protein... DRUNKEN NOODLES: 8/10 Tastes more like a Pad See eew noodle dish. It had the dark soy sauce color on it and was in the sweet side... BOAT NOODLES: 8/10 The broth portion was generous and the noodles were nice and chewy but, it was on the bland side. I needed some fish sauce, sugar, vinegar and more condiments... We had to flag servers down for everything we needed even when we were the only ones left in the restaurant. Stuff like more napkins, condiments, check, etc. friendly service but lacked ATTENTIVENESS!!!!! LACK OF ATTENTIVENESS: disappears after dropping off food. When we got there, we were sort of lost. There was nobody there to greet us and offer a place to sit down. The booth we were offered to sit at was dirty. The wall was full of old food stuck to it. No decor either. Nobody offered to take the full plates off my table as the table would get full. When I asked for a small bowl, the waiter grabbed a tiny bowl that was sitting on the counter next to the register, which I thought was odd why not go in the back and get small bowls. Place was just odd as if they were closing down. When we ask for soy sauce, they offered us packets and said they didn't have any. The fixings for my pho was old, some of it was going bad. Pineapple fried rice was phenomenal! I loved the pineapple fried rice with shrimp. You get plenty of shrimps also. The rice was fresh. It had good flavor overall and I enjoyed the nuts in there too. 1/26/26 Sadly I am removing my 5 star reviews. Tonight was just not the same. We sat in a booth because when we stood at the door, nobody offered us a place to sit down. A few minutes after we chose our spot, we were told to move because that part of the dining area was closed. Well, maybe you should've acknowledged us in the first place. Look at my previous reviews. I had nothing but love for Spicy Noodle. There were only a few people. One waitress. Our food took forever to come out and she brought it out one at a time. Pancit came first. My husbands Pho about 15 minutes later, and the pork belly was about 10 more minutes. My husband asked for extra green onions. She wanted to charge us for that. So we said, "never mind." Pancit was on point. Pork Belly was cold and had no taste. It appeared to have a mix of old and new pieces of meat. Clearly old meat was hard and dry, and appeared darker, like it was refried. Perhaps some leftovers? Not sure but it was off. I asked for sauce for the pork belly. I was told it doesn't come with any sauce. Give me something, anything to make up for this $22 plate of meat that was horrible. She brought me sweet n sour sauce and charged me $1.79 Damn! I was afraid to see what soy sauce would have cost me. So it appears that Spicy noodle wants to up charge for every little thing. $60 later and we couldn't even get a toothpick. I'm out. Never again here and I will not recommend them to anyone. Seems like the owner no longer runs the place. At least he's not cooking anymore. His wife kept peeking out the glass window. Perhaps wondering why she had no customers. It's 50° tonight and nobody eating Pho. That should have been my first clue. I won't be back. read more

Spicy noodle is always a good idea. They serve different types of Asian cuisines, which I normally don't go for fusion types of restaurants. The service is good and the restaurant is clean. Glad we gave this place several tries before we found dishes that made Spicy Noodle one of our favorite eateries to visit weekly. At first, I was really put off by Pad Thai and spicy basil fried rice, which kept us away for a long time before we forgot about this place. On a whim, my husband decided to meet up here after work not thinking we were visiting for the first time. We sat down anyway and try something new on the menu. To our surprise, the Spicy Basil Cat Fish and the Garlic Soba Noodles were excellent! The other fish entree (not on today's menu) is also delicious. We come back here regularly for these particular dishes. I think flowers on the tables and more wall art might make this place more appealing as the ambiance is a bit dull with too much beige and brown. A bit depressing. Service is friendly. read more

We decided to try this place out for the first time tonight. Honestly, we'd been hesitating for a while -- turns out we were missing out. The restaurant is clean and welcoming. They do seem a bit understaffed, but once they get to your table, they take really good care of you. The food was delicious across the board. My wife had the Spicy Udon and really enjoyed it. I ordered the Chow Mein with added beef, and it was flavorful and satisfying. The oils and chilis on the table were a nice touch -- great flavor, not just heat. We also tried the chicken egg rolls, which were noticeably larger than your average egg roll and tasted fresh and well‑made. Only downside: no refillable fountain sodas. And I'm a refill person, so that stung a bit. But aside from that, we'll definitely be back. Especially because I need to try those fried gyoza next time. read more

Spicy noodle is the restaurant to go to if you are having a hard time deciding if you want Thai food or Vietnamese food. They have both! In my humble opinion it's pretty damn good either way you go. With this being our first visit we decide to split the shrimp spring rolls, wife opts for chicken pho and I live on the edge and order the garlic soba noodles with chicken. Spring rolls arrive and we are impressed by the presentation as well as the size. The rolls are made with love, flavorful and very well constructed. The peanut sauce explodes with flavor, a party in your mouth. These just might be the best spring rolls in the area. Chicken pho comes next. It's a big bowl loaded with chicken, noodles and some herbs. Wife adds a shitload of other stuff and poof, a very tasty bowl of soup. Next comes my Garlic Soba Noodles with chicken. I order it with medium heat. Ok, this dish is good. The soba noodles are nutty and hold the garlic flavor well. The chicken is tender and flavorful and the entire dish just seems to work. The inside of the restaurant is somewhat industrial, no flash with standard tables and booths. Our server was very pleasant but service was spotty. My wife's lunch came out and my lunch trailed hers by at least 8-10 minutes. Always an awkward moment for the one who gets their food first. Spicy Noodle earns its 4 stars. Came in for our first time to order some appetizers to go. Waited at the front as the sign says, but no one was in the front so we waited a few minutes. Ordered 4 different apps to eat on a long drive, shrimp and pork (odd there is a $1 up charge for pork) and spring rolls (2 pieces each), both fresh and tasty with the peanut sauce. Also ordered the tofu bites and gyoza which had a fragrant ginger flavor, both were not oily and also good. $48 for 4 apps before tax and tip ending up $55 for lunch for 2. We would come back when we have time to dine in because even though there were only two tables occupied during our time of order and another two tables filled while we waited, it still took 25 minutes for us when I can't foresee waiting that long if we were dining in instead. Fried Calamari ($18.00) Vegetarian Egg Rolls ($10) Fried Tofu Nuggets ($12) Egg rolls and Tofu came out quickly hot from the frier. Tofu had way too much breading. Tofu had curious texture. I was extremely disappointed in the Lao food served at this restaurant. I'm Lao and have been eating it all my life and this had to be the worst lao food I had ever tasted. I asked for the papaya salad lao style (which is more pungent and flavorful than the thai version), and it was so bland and tasted like they forgot the padek sauce. Same thing with the larb gai, it was so bland and was missing half of what traditionally usually goes in this dish (no shallots, tasted like no padek). The sticky rice was also very mushy and overcooked. Maybe don't come here for the lao food, especially if you have had authentic lao food before. The pho was good, however I have to mark down a couple stars because (1) the wait time was way too long from being seated, to getting our order taken, to finally getting our getting food, and (2) we were just a party of two and on the receipt they already included an 18% tip to the total, and added an "Additional Tip" line. Our server Nathan was kind at the start and said he would bring us waters, but after going to the bathroom w my toddler I came back out to find no water, and a newly sat table had their waters before us. Some time went by before I was able to flag him down and ASK for the waters. We ordered, I asked for extra limes and didn't get them so had to ask again. They were out of tofu so the waiter let me know and I told him to just cancel the spring rolls I ordered all together bc I didn't want the shrimp ones, only tofu. At the end I got my receipt and the spring rolls were not taken off, Nathan was on his lunch break and he made eye contact with me so he knew I was wanting some service but did not ask anyone to help me. so I waited for a long time before a different waiter noticed my irritation and corrected the bill for me and took my payment. I left Nathan 5$ tip for the principal because I have worked in the restaurant business, but this service today was truly lacking and I left not very satisfied with my overall visit. Food is great as always but that was about it. --------- Really upset with this place. They normally have semi-decent service but today was just bad. My boyfriend and I come here often to get out fix of pho, and we come in to a very NOT busy shop.
