First trip to Vail Pizzeria. It's delicious! We ordered four different Build Your Own pizzas on the regular crust. We polished them off! I highly recommend the garlic butter sauce with the red sauce. Adds another dimension of flavor. Super quick also. Maybe about 5 minutes for the pizzas to cook. Great location in Redhawk. Super fun environment kind of feels old west-ish (sooo not a word!) I like Vail's approach to pizza - you move along a serving line and pick your salad ingredients and/or pizza toppings, then they mix the salad and/or cook the pizza to order. I wasn't surprised to discover that when I was allowed to pick all the ingredients, the taste of my food was very much to my liking! This restaurant is situated in a historic area that has lots of info boards and old buildings. It's a very nice place to enjoy lunch during the week or dinner on a weekend :-) read more

Similar to blaze or mod pizza, but not as good. The basic cheese pizza with red sauce was weirdly spicy all the adults commented on it, and my kid couldn't eat it even though she loves pizza. The people making the pizza were pleasant, but the woman running the counter was not extremely helpful. I was trying to find out about what sodas they had and she was just saying Pepsi, I later found out they had a self serve fountain around the corner, but the flavors weren't listed anywhere. When I was checking out, she asked me if I wanted ranch on the side. I said OK , she said how many. we had three pizzas so I said I guess three, and then I said wait does it cost extra ? then she said yes, but I guess if I had said I wanted them she would've added them on without telling me they cost extra . Overall, it was kind of mediocre, but for the price it should've been better and like I said, the customer service at the counter was not good. I wouldn't go here again. Figured I'd leave a review for my allergic friends. As of 1/26/24, their regular crust is vegan, while the gluten free and cauliflower crusts both are not vegan. This info is different from some of the other reviews I saw so thought I'd update. They do have vegan cheese and it's actually some of the better vegan cheese I've had. Their gf crust is also very good and has a nice crunch to it. As for the actual restaurant, the pizza is great and they have unlimited toppings so what's not to love. read more

We took a day trip to Temecula to visit Vail. I walked into this cozy location and was immediately greeted. The menu is on the wall to help you make decisions regarding your pizza. We went with a margarita, a bbq chicken and an all meat pizza. We also added wings and cheese bread just to try them. The prices were surprisingly affordable. It was nice to see the pizzas being made fresh in front of us with generous toppings. The pizza was made to order and it was absolutely delicious. Each one was a pleasure to look at and splendid to taste. The meats were fresh, the cheese stringy and delightful. Each one of the pizzas were amazing. All this about the pizza...what about the wings ? They were fantastic. I truly appreciate a good pizza and wings. This was truly a great place to experience great pizza and great wings. Checked out this pizza spot while visiting the farmer's market they have on tuesdays! My fiancé, daughter, and I loved it! They have $10 signature pizzas and build your own pizzas which is such a good deal! They also have garlic bread and buffalo wings at a fair price for appetizers. They also serve beer on tap! The pizza was so good, we got the regular pepperoni, but will def come back to try others out! The spicy buffalo wings aren't that spicy, because I love spice and wish they were spicier. Ordered 4 pizzas and all pizzas were burnt. I didn't check while I was there b/c I normally don't have this issue. One of the pizzas was gluten free for my autistic nephew and his was burnt the most. It was very inconsiderate for the workers to put burnt pizzas in boxes with no regards for customer satisfaction. Normally, the pizza is good. If you think about going to Vail pizzeria, I'd really think about it for example about a year ago I ordered pizza from this restaurant about 30 minutes prior to the closing time I go to pick it up And the restaurant is completely closed. The teenage crew seem awkwardly somber and introverted, making it awkward to order and feeling like we were problematic. Feels sterile. After I try the actual food I may amend my review. A little disappointed. I haven't been here for a couple years but the last time I remember it came with some dipping sauce. Maybe that has changed. They're also seems to be a delay ordering on Yelp and the time the order will be ready. It gave me a window of 30 to 45 minutes. I picked it up in 30 minutes and it was no longer warm. New little pizza joint that opened up in the Vail Ranch Headquarters shopping center located in Temecula. Staff was friendly and answered all my questions regarding vegan options. They also kindly changed their gloves when I requested. The gluten-free crust is vegan friendly and actually tasted a lot better than the GF crust I tried at another pizza joint. Their regular crust is NOT vegan so make sure you get the GF crust if you are vegan. The red marinera sauce is vegan friendly... didn't ask about their other sauces though. The GF crust is $1 more, although, not listed on the menu. I only noticed because I got charged $10 something as opposed to the regular $8.99 on the menu. When you walk in, head to your right and they will customize your pizza (just like Subway). They have cheese (no vegan cheese), meats, and veggies. Good pizza overall. Price is super for what you get. The pie is bigger than other build-your-own places (blaze, pieology, garage brewing). Cons - staff and owners need to "step up" their game. Inexperienced and slow. The night I was there, must have been kids night. Sooo many noisy kids running around. The decor is terrible. Costco tables and very uncomfortable stools. Overall, pizza is good and price is right. We ordered wings and they were surprisingly large chicken legs type! And the garlic bread was also pretty big as we ordered two and thought that it was too Much!
