I had such a smooth and delicious experience for my first time here. I am a pizza lover and I truly enjoyed the crispy and flavorful pizza I ordered. The 3 staff that served me were so friendly and patient as we decided on what we were getting. They greeted me once I got to the counter and was able to take my order right away. It was moderately busy on a Saturday for lunch but we were able to sit at a clean booth. We enjoyed their smore pie too, forgot to snap a photo because we were eager to dive in. Walked in today during the evening to get some food and off the bat the African American lady working at the front had a HORRIBLE attitude. They weren't even close to closing and looked bothered we came in. When asking for help she completely ignored us, stared with a straight face, and no response was given. She could tell we were confused and she was just mumbling her responses under her breath. Overall not helpful or respectful and I thought maybe it was just us but another group proceeded to walk in and she treated them the same way. The whole staff seemed lousy and rude. The food was great but the atmosphere was super uncomfortable and unwelcoming. A grown woman shouldn't work in customer service if she can't be bothered to be present and helpful! read more

Perfectly made pizzas! Our pizzas were well-cooked and everything on it tasted amazing! All of the toppings were really fresh and evenly distributed. The best part, in my opinion, is the actual shape of the pizza. They shape their dough nicely and leave a good crust whereas other 'make your own' pizza restaurants have awful circle shapes and no crusts. They also have a much wider range of toppings for almost each food group. Everyone there was really nice and the shop itself is quite spacious. There were plenty of tables and chairs to sit at. I'm updating my first impression review. I'm glad we gave them another chance because Blaze is a new favorite of 2 people in my family. I learned that if you don't want a flat pizza dough, you need to ask for the HIGH RISE CRUST. I believe there is a small upcharge ($1.50?) for the HR crust but it makes a big difference. One family member, who eats gluten-free, loves the Cauliflower Crust. The staff seems happy and friendly. I like to order through the app, super convenient and the order is hot & ready if I head right over. My only complaint about the app, is I never get any kind of order confirmation, or order ready notifications. When I pay, it goes straight to the How-was-your-order screen. When I arrive, I go directly to the pickup area. I wish there was a way to know if my order was sitting on the shelf, or waiting to be boxed, without interrupting the pizza-cutter guy. The entire staff seemed annoyed and made my boyfriend and I feel like an inconvenience. The food was good but we felt like the ambiance was unwelcoming. We tried to give each employee a chance but every employee, which there was three, did not put a single smile on their face. It was actually my first time ever going to a blaze pizza and it had sparked my interest because of the vegan options. However, after experiencing this it just left a bitter taste in my mouth and I don't plan on coming back. Been wanting to try this place out for some time now. After Costco shopping last week, I finally did.... conveniently located off Clinton Keith right across from Vista HS. I ordered the 1/2 Margherita pizza and 1/2 Pesto-garlic bread. Both were absolutely delicious!! The bread was very chewy and delicious and the pizza was thin and had very fresh ingredients. Upon entry, this Blaze Pizza location is very clean. They greeted me as I entered and helped me take my order immediately. The whole process from ordering (pizza creation) to the oven and out of the oven was completed in less than 5 minutes. The pizza I ordered (create your own) was delicious. I got to the restaurant at 9:20ish and saw a young woman there with short hair cleaning the windows at the front counter where we order our food and she just stared at me while taking her time to continue to clean , didn't even greet me, I was so confused, after waiting for maybe 5 minutes I asked if they were open and she then told she would be with me and continued to clean slowly while I continued to stare at her in confusion, I must of waited maybe 10 minutes or so before she finally got done cleaning and then started to make my pizza and seemed to be in a bad mood. This was so disrespectful to basically act as if I'm not there while she continued to clean right in front of my face, I would of thought she would of took my order and then proceeded with cleaning, I get it was 30 minutes to close but closing hours are at 10pm. read more

My boyfriend and I have eaten multiple times, mostly due to convenience, partly because of the cauliflower crust option. On our last visit here, which was a Friday at 5:30, we had a very bad experience with the quality of the ingredients. It was not busy with customers or orders, and with 5 staff behind the counter you'd expect to see a fully stocked ingredient counter. Not the case! As we were picking sauce, cheese and other toppings, it was the bottom of the bin that got put on our pizza. We asked for fresh toppings but were told there was enough to make our pizza. We should have walked out... Instead, we suffered with food poisoning all weekend! That was most certainly our last visit to this store!! read more

Came here for Pie Day. Unfortunately, I could only get one for the Pie Day price because my family wasn't present. It was a bummer because we always participate in Pie Day, and I've never had this problem. I ordered anyway because I stood in line for about 30 minutes. The service was great, the pricing is great, pizza was some of the best around for sure. For $11 it fed two people and we had an extra slice to go. I get a little crazy when people give me unlimited toppings but luckily my fiance was with me and I was able to keep it a little toned down. Very disappointed! When I arrived there were no customers in line and 3 employees behind the counter. One was hanging out by the oven and the other 2 were making pizzas. It took about 5 minutes before I was even acknowledged (I was just about to walk out). I was asked what type of crust, was it byo, if I was getting anything else, was I dining in and my name and then told they would be with me in a couple minutes. The toppings were super light.
