In my quest to keep trying new places, we finally made it to Shawarma Grill and wow. I really wish we came here sooner because it so delicious. The ambiance feels fun and authentic and not like it's trying to be anything it isn't. The smells when you walk in are pretty intoxicating and the extensive but concise menu gives you a great choice of options. We ordered the dolmas, chicken shawarma and gyro fries. Out of the two the chicken was my favorite as it was juicy and flavorful and just over a deliciously balanced shawarma. The fries were generously loaded and full of flavor. The green sauce it comes with is seriously spicy so watch out for that. The service was great and the worker behind the counter was so sweet. Her and the owner I believe, were great and just fun to be around. We are excited to come back and try more things! P.S. The Avengers art on the walls is an awesome touch if you know you know.

My wife, brother, and I had the pleasure of dining at Sharma Grill, and it was an excellent experience from start to finish. Khalid with his 53 years of kitchen experience, truly brings that depth of knowledge and passion into every dish--you can taste it. We tried the chicken and beef kebab, salad, and Gyro plate, and each bite was packed with flavor and freshness. The kebab was perfectly seasoned and tender, the salad crisp and refreshing, and the gyro was generous and delicious. The environment is warm and welcoming and the team are friendly. Khalid himself had small talk. You can tell he takes pride in both the food and the experience of his guests. I absolutely loved it and can't wait to go back again! Highly recommend this spot to anyone looking for authentic, flavorful food made with care.

We were in the area for my son's mountain bike race and needed dinner after a long day in the heat. Yelp saved the day again! In short, Shawarma Grill was insanely good! The staff were soooo polite and accommodating, they made us feel like we were family dining in their home. The plates were some of the Mediterranean/Middle Eastern food we have eaten. The portions were giant, but the quality was very high. We were given all the sauces to try -- garlic, tzatziki, spicy -- and I enjoyed all of them. I had beef shawarma and at my wife's chicken and both were juicy and flavorful. Sadly, we don't live nearby, but if you're reading this, I expect you pay them a visit! read more

let me start by saying I don't ever leave reviews but this place deserves its recognition!!! I've driven past this place sooooo many times over the last couple of years and unfortunately never had it until 2 days ago. omg. what a hidden gem!!!!!!!!!! this was the best greek food I have EVER had in my life!!!!!! one of the best meals of my life!!! I ordered the chicken shawarma plate.... wow. The chicken was cooked to perfection and the rice was so tasty. It was such a huge portion I could have definitely shared it (but I didn't because it was too good). the salad it came with was absolutely delicious as well as the hummus and pita bread which salad and hummus were also a pretty big portion. $23 for all of that amazing food is a killer deal. the owner is soooo nice as well as the young female cashier. I had to go back today because I literally dreamt about this meal. 100/10 read more

CHICKEN KABOB PLATE: 10/10 I think the chicken is the star of the show. Just simply enjoyed it. DESSERTS: 9/10 The desserts by the cashier were good but, I think the price is a bit too high for desserts. SERVICE: A ok (very friendly but, business like) felt like I should purchase or ordered more. But it's really about consistency. If you have a customer that orders a lot but, only comes once a month verses a customer that comes almost everyday and orders a little. We were fortunate enough to come across this place because we were looking for any restaurant that was open on Christmas which served healthier fare. The restaurant is tucked in one of the many nondescript shopping centers which line Hwy 79. Parking was not an issue. We were greeted with warm hospitality in a family atmosphere. The food is delicious and left us feeling nourished. My husband and I split a veggie combo which came with falafel, tabouleh, hummus, dolmas, Greek salad, and a side of pita. Everything was perfect and the portion was more than enough for both of us to feel satisfied. In this day and age it is a rarity to get an affordable family meal that is healthy and freshly prepared as well. The real star of the meal was the red lentil soup. The savory flavor of the lentils are nicely balanced with notes of citrus. We found ourselves drinking the last bit of the soup from the bowl. It was that good! We wanted to try the golden bread, but they were sold out. The gentleman taking our order told us it's like a thick pita. Sounds delicious and I can't wait to try! Next time we are visiting family in the area we will be sure to come back. The inland empire is rich with so much good ethnic cuisine. If you are looking for healthy, filling, delicious, and affordable food don't sleep on this spot! Special shout out this place will be great for vegetarians and vegans as well! read more

Impromptu lunch in Temecula, Shawarma grill delivered in every aspect. The owner was kind; friendly and offered the lunch special when I walked in. Everything on the lunch special was delicious ( I got a grilled chicken kebab and a huge plate of rice & salad) and since I was the only patron in the late afternoon, we conversed through my lunch. We shared our cultures, talked about his son, my puppy and he even asked questions about possibly rescuing a dog. Sure the food was fantastic, plentiful and affordable for a lunch special but the unexpected connection with another person is priceless. It's these moments I didn't know I would miss during lockdown back in 2020. read more

Really tasty food and nice people. I thought it was a chain but when we arrived it was very authentic and seemed like the owner runs the place and cooks with love. The lady working with him was super nice too. Greeted us when we arrived and kept tending to us. We had the gyro sandwich and the chicken shawarma plate. The plate was ginormous and super good. The salad, meat, rice and hummus were beautifully plated and tasted great. The pita and sauces were all delicious. Gyro was also great. Absolutely the BEST Baba Ghonuj & the small order was huge!! Served with warm pita bread...it was the perfect appetizer & side dish! I ordered the gyros platter & my daughter had the special Kufta combo...both were plentiful & delicious! I must also say their hot sauces were fresh & added the perfect kick to the hummus! The Owner stopped by to chat & had some french fries brought over for my Gson! He was so nice & we complimented on how fresh everything was! I highly recommend this small business-owned place for Mediterranean foods! There's patio seating too! This is mainly a carry out spot although there are a few tables inside. Ordering was easy but it was disappointing to learn soup options were out of stock and the 1 we ordered was in no way lentil soup. The consistency was inconsistent . Thickness at the bottom and liquid on top. We had to reheat the soup and keep mixing to make it edible. Flavor was heavy salt and just ok. You might want to order ahead of pick up. We waited 25 minutes for our order. The food portions are mostly ample but the over abundance of rice to meat ratio is disappointing, especially for the prices. Salad accompanied most dishes as does hummus. The hummus and salad were the highlight to my chicken dish. read more

I do not live in this area I come from San Diego and Scottsdale arizona. But I am selling my short-term vacation rental in Temecula Wine Country and I don't have any food there because it's not my home. So I found this restaurant through the bubba review. I shall eat here as long as I stay in Temecula the service is warm and welcoming and the food is very satisfying. The portion of the lamb shank and rice was generous so that I save half of it in my own takeout box to have for another dinner with a pita bread. I was really unimpressed with the falafel lover meal that only came with 4 falafels on the plate and some rice lol The rice was wet with maybe yogurt? I was not a fan of that. The wet rice was gross. There was only 4 falafels. I love falafel and thought the falafel lover would have more than just 4. Seemed like a rip off for what you get. My husband ordered chicken and rice and the chicken was stew-like. It looked unappetizing and he said it was gross lol I just don't understand the flavors of this Mediterranean place. We would not come back. Ambiance was midrange as it was not too busy and not dead.

The most amazing thing was when I went to pay for my bowl and my son's bowl and the cashier asked how my day was going - and I explained that I've had better days - she was so kind she pushed what was called a"love button." I really didn't understand what this was until I went to pay and realized that she had comped one of our meals. When I said to her, that was very generous and unnecessary she said well when we see somebody who needs a little bit of love or cheering up that is what we do. While waiting in line, I witnessed the general manager openly chastising employees in front of customers. Not a quick correction or quiet conversation--full-on public humiliation. It created an incredibly tense and awkward atmosphere that made it hard to even enjoy being there. Out of concern, I asked one of the staff members why no one spoke up, and what I heard was even worse. I was told that the last employee who pushed back ended up getting stuck with the worst shifts and eventually had their hours cut down to practically nothing until they quit. If that's true, it speaks volumes about the kind of environment this management team is creating. No one should feel intimidated or punished for standing up for themselves at work. It's disappointing to support a business where employees appear to be treated this way. Regardless of how the food tastes, I won't be returning knowing what's happening behind the counter. Respect your staff--customers notice more than you think.

I also ordered the chicken kebab plate, and I have to say, the salad dressing was simple yet easily one of the best I've had in a long time. The rice tasted like true homemade, family-style cooking, which I really appreciated. And the lahme bajin? So good that I ordered six more to go. Absolutely worth a visit.

As soon as I walked inside, the host Dakota was super cordial and got me seated at their outdoor patio beneath sun shades, next to the vineyard and I had a perfect unobstructed view of the jazz performer on stage. After seating, I ordered a glass of their signature Cabernet Sauvignon and the Fromagé plate, which was presented shortly afterwards. The fromagé plate had a variety of cheeses, seedless red grapes, dried apricots, fig preserve spread and additionally a plate of bread... perfect for sharing or not. The saxophone player played contemporary music which was all entertaining as I noshed and sipped vino. Their signature Cabernet Sauvignon was quiet lovely; aroma and depth of flavors was perfect with the fromagé ...love!! After the lunch, a stroll around the grounds to see more vineyards, felt the breeze on a hot day was nice. Inside the gift shop there was so much to peruse through, but some of the stuff will definitely get a giggle out of you. There's an art gallery connected to the main building. I wouldn't call it an art gallery but many walls were dedicated to showcasing local artists work depicting the Temecula Valley lifestyle. In the same room is the wine tasting bar and most of the people inside the art gallery seemed to be more interested in wine tasting than the art lol This was my second time visiting, both times, I had a great first impression and last impression from the ambiance, food and service. Service from the staff members were all courteous, helpful and just wonderful, All was amazing, Cheers!!Recommend

I wish I knew this place before, this is the best mediterranean food I ever tried . Best service really nice people . I think it's a family owned business the chef was so nice and I believe the cashier is his daughter they were joking around looked every happy . Also every clean . Food is so tender and juicy and tasty has a really special flavor the beef is so juicy and tender . This place deserves more then 5 stars . And for those of you who have had bad experiences I really recommend to go back and try it pretty sure they will give you the best service and best food . Ever since then I've been going l times a week but I always get what I asked for and more . read more

Walked in a few days ago around noon. The only person there was a heavy set, bald man whom gave me a nasty look when I walked in. Did not greet me. Walked to the back, then walked back up to the front and said to me in an angry manner "what do you need today". I asked him for a chicken shawarma wrap and a side a rice. He then responded "I don't have rice if you want it you need to wait 30 min". Geez sorry for making you go out of your way. I then walked out. You've lost my service. read more

Wow is all I can say. Massive amount of food. I got the combo plate husband gyro plate. Also 6pc grape leaves. Best grape leaves I've ever had. Everything was so fresh. The salad was bland but fresh. The hummus was amazing and a ton of it. Tzaziti sauce amazing. We took home half of our meals. Cashier was really sweet will come back again for sure. read more

I have been here three times everything was great the first two times but the tabouleh the third time was not as good but better than most places. It's clean, staff is pleasant, prices are average to this type place. I would recommend this place if you enjoy gyro's, hummus, or tabouleh. read more
