Melo was amazing at customer service and his sandwiches were delicious. I wish I could say that was the best part but I would be lying. The ice cream here is from a different planet. Saturday, 9-27-2025: We were craving these sandwiches after our grandson's soccer game. When we entered it was in a little disarray as there was a very bright, expansive mural in the progress of being painted. Staff were welcoming & friendly. Unfortunately, no Gabriel. We ordered our usual faves: Little Melo Sandwich & Tuna Salad Sandwich. It was served rather quickly for which we were grateful because we were starving. Great sandwich shop. My husband and I ordered the club and we both loved it. Next time I would ask for mustard as well. My daughter ordered the Italian sub and loved hers as well. How have I not yet written the review about Melo's?! my kids love this place and so do I. We first came here with friends one hot day after school for ice cream. I fell in love with a flavor called Fat Elvis because who can't?? Decided I needed to come back with my son and so on a half day from school, I bring both kids in for a sandwich and ice cream. We're chatting with the nice young man who is serving us and learned that he is in fact, Melo! The kids are now thrilled to know that they've met the owner and when we find him on Instagram, the children are now buzzing with excitement that they know someone who is "famous". Every time they get a good grade on a test or wanna celebrate something the request is always can we go to mellows. They want to say hi and enjoy how he looks after them ,letting them try different flavors occasionally get some to sample some new fun thing he's been working on. Everything is fresh. Local small business right off of Temecula Parkway worth a visit and many returns. The family stopped by here a while back for sandwiches and ice cream. I remember the sandwiches A Club Sub minus the bacon and a The Roast sandwich. Both memorable and the kids liked the ice cream!. Tonight I had the opportunity to taste the ice cream which I hadn't the last visit. I had the fat Elvis and the strawberry cheesecake, both very good! The owner is a nice young man. I am a "Senior Woman" who has eaten ice cream for many years. Melo's has the best ice cream I've had in my whole life! Their flavors are unique, and the taste is "extremely naughty"! Wonderful local spot with fresh, allergy friendly, and flavorful sandwiches and ice cream. Had tuna on squaw and roast beef on panini sourdough (the garlic aioli is a must). Both sandwiches were well-balanced flavors and the bread was soft and fresh. Ice cream is a must! Flavor combinations are soo fun. The variety of allergy friendly ice creams is incredible!!! What an incredible deli and dessert spot!! We were craving deli sandwiches for dinner and this place popped up on our way home from work. Their menu had a variety of simple yet TASTY flavors that also cater to dietary needs! I enjoyed the Birria Panini that came with Consommé, the pepper jack cheese added a mild kick and the beef was juicy and tender. The cucumber lime Agua Fresca was refreshing, and I ended my dinner with a raspberry cheesecake ice cream. Mr. Marky (sp?) greeted us as we walked in the door, helped with menu items and made recommendations. He prepared our meals, carried on a friendly conversation about the business and their food brands, and checked in on us as we savored each bite! They had a wide variety of ice cream flavors to choose from!! Gluten free, dairy free, to accommodate dietary needs. The store had tables and chairs to accommodate families. Very spacious and clean. The sounds of real music from our legendary James Brown and the stylistics can be heard in the background throughout the store. We look forward to coming back again to try other items in the menu! I just had an amazing sandwich here. I usually eat chicken or turkey based sandwiches, but I am trying to up my produce intake and scale back on meat, so I chose the veggie today. It was absolutely delightful. I had no idea a vegetable sandwich could be so good. The apple and bell pepper with the cream cheese is such a surprisingly delicious combo! And it is HUGE! For only 350 calories, this is a gem of a sandwich. I will for sure be back to have this again. I look forward to trying other sandwiches too, but the veggie was so good I will probably stick with it for a while. The service was excellent too. Stopped in for a quick bite eat. We ordered the Italian Sub and the Veggie Sandwich. Got the Italian on Rye and the bread was very fresh as were the veggies. Good sandwiches at a fair price. This is honestly one of the best sandwiches I've ever had... I'd have taken a picture ended up in a food trance (I got the Italian on jalapeño cheese).
