I was so excited to try the chamango from this place as I've been craving it for days. My husband went to get me one on a Saturday when their hours are 11-3. He arrived at 2:14pm only to see that the door was locked and it was dark inside. This seems to be a reoccurring problem with this place based on past reviews which is very unfortunate because their food and drinks look really good. It is very inconvenient though to show up during their working hours only for it to be closed. Waste of time.. hopefully one day I'll get the chance to try them but not sure if we would be willing to risk the drive again. read more

The food was so delicious! I had the Asian attack and my husband had the banana boy bbq. I loved both sandwiches. They're made to order and tasted so great it was worth waiting for it. Ive had the avocado smoothie, chunky monkey smoothie, the orange dream smoothie, the fruit bowl, acai bowl, italian sub sandwich, el club sandwich, and the pastrami sandwich. The avocado smoothie and el club sandwich are bomb and i keep coming back for those! Prices are a little high but i feel this is to be expected from a small family owned business that makes everything themselves in house. First time we have been here, we have always wanted to try it, but it's out of the way for us. We went today for our anniversary lunch and it was really yummy and refreshing, perfect for a hot summer day. My husband got a 6 inch pastrami sandwich with a cookies & creme shake which he really enjoyed both. I got the Asian Attack on a sun-dried tomato wrap and a Papi Papaya Peach smoothie. The wrap was really good, reminded me of a banh mi, which I had been craving. My personal preference, I would forgo the jalapeños next time which made it too spicy and honestly didn't care for their homemade "Asian" sauce which tasted like bbq sauce. Other than that, it was good and the smoothie was really light, natural and refreshing. Husband said they were really nice and friendly, they wore gloves and masks, and the drinks and food were relatively quick even with a large order in front of us. I ordered a Chango Mango for Banana Boy online through Clover. It has a "TakeOff-Smoothies & Shakes" sections as well as a "Add On Smoothies" section. I took off bananas as well as almond milk. I added strawberries, peaches and mango sorbet. I asked for it extra thick and no other milk substitutes. Now on the Take-off section the first 3 items all say no before the item. The rest do not, but I assumed that the restaurant would be able to see that. Boy was I wrong. The smoothie had bananas in it. I called the restaurant thinking that, this was no big deal, I could run back over there and get it fixed. Wrong again!!! The woman who answered the phone was not ever nice at all. I explain the problem she put me on hold to check. Came back and said no it was correct and I could come over and see how they received the order. I again tried to explain that , that is not how it is on the website I ordered from. She said well the order is correct, you can come look at the ticket but we are not changing it. First time I've been to banana boy and went with three colleagues for lunch. I ordered their banana boy barbecue half sandwich, the others ordered the Cuban, the Asian, and the regular barbecue. Their bread is crispy and fabulous, the ingredients although somewhat sparse were also excellent. Everyone rated their sandwich except one person with five stars, the other one person rated it at four stars, because he thought he's had better spiced flavor in a Cuban sandwich but everyone would return many times in the future if asked. Went to this place to get some juice because I was feeling a bit under the weather. When I got there it was 10 which is right when they opened so the place was a little under prepared with some uncleaned tables and cleaning supplies out. Once the girl who worked there saw me she instantly looked pissed that I was there (and i don't blame her bc it was literally right when they opened) She grabbed her things off the counter really aggressively and took my order with a short tone (and again, I empathized with her because she had some Benadryl on the counter so she was probably sick too) However, what really got me bothered was after I ordered, she just kept mad-dogging me as she was making my juice!
