The food was so delicious! I had the Asian attack and my husband had the banana boy bbq. I loved both sandwiches. They're made to order and tasted so great it was worth waiting for it. Loved that they had a good kids menu with kids sized smoothies. I also got an agua Fresca that was so refreshing. Can't wait to come back :) read more

My kids love coming here, and Im so glad because I love it too. The owners are so friendly and the place is always steady with customers. Food is made to order and always so delicious. My husband and I stopped in for the first time to grab a quick lunch to eat on the road. We didnt look at any reviews just chose something that was on our route. To say we were pleasantly surprised is an understatement! We got the full El Club sandwich to share and it was so delicious and the perfect size for two people or one really hungry person 10/10! My husband got the chango mango smoothie very yummy some chamoy on top would take it over the top! I got the chunky monkey shake it was so delicious. I wish this place was local to me. This is for sure a hole in the wall spot that has great food and great drinks. Ive come here several times for about 8 years now and its still good even now. Ive had the avocado smoothie, chunky monkey smoothie, the orange dream smoothie, the fruit bowl, acai bowl, italian sub sandwich, el club sandwich, and the pastrami sandwich. The avocado smoothie and el club sandwich are bomb and i keep coming back for those! Prices are a little high but i feel this is to be expected from a small family owned business that makes everything themselves in house. They have always been friendly when ive come in but the wait time is usually pretty long so i highly suggest ordering ahead instead of ordering in person. read more

We love banana boy! Family owned and operated, fresh ingredients with delicious food made to order. I eat lunch here multiple times a week. Often times I order through their google business page for a very easy order and pay experience. Then I bring my wife lunch at work. Or we stop in, sit and eat. We love the owners. The reason I'm giving them two stars because of smoothie was pretty good but to be honest with you the sandwiches were nothing to write home about they were super small being a half sub I would assume they would at least be somewhat sizeable but we left hungry they don't put enough meat on the sandwich the bread to meet ratio is way off LOL I tried this Asian sandwich they had and the flavor would have been a lot better if it had more of the pork on it my wife had a turkey sandwich which was this land I don't understand because this place is always crowded and people rave about this place I just don't think they get out of the house much because the sandwich shop is subpar at best you better off going to Jersey Mike's... First time we have been here, we have always wanted to try it, but it's out of the way for us. We went today for our anniversary lunch and it was really yummy and refreshing, perfect for a hot summer day. My husband got a 6 inch pastrami sandwich with a cookies & creme shake which he really enjoyed both. I got the Asian Attack on a sun-dried tomato wrap and a Papi Papaya Peach smoothie. The wrap was really good, reminded me of a banh mi, which I had been craving. My personal preference, I would forgo the jalapeños next time which made it too spicy and honestly didn't care for their homemade "Asian" sauce which tasted like bbq sauce. Other than that, it was good and the smoothie was really light, natural and refreshing. Husband said they were really nice and friendly, they wore gloves and masks, and the drinks and food were relatively quick even with a large order in front of us. We will definitely return to try something new next time! read more

I ordered a Chango Mango for Banana Boy online through Clover. It has a "TakeOff-Smoothies & Shakes" sections as well as a "Add On Smoothies" section. I took off bananas as well as almond milk. I added strawberries, peaches and mango sorbet. I asked for it extra thick and no other milk substitutes. Now on the Take-off section the first 3 items all say no before the item. The rest do not, but I assumed that the restaurant would be able to see that. Boy was I wrong. The smoothie had bananas in it. I called the restaurant thinking that, this was no big deal, I could run back over there and get it fixed. Wrong again!!! The woman who answered the phone was not ever nice at all. I explain the problem she put me on hold to check. Came back and said no it was correct and I could come over and see how they received the order. I again tried to explain that , that is not how it is on the website I ordered from. She said well the order is correct, you can come look at the ticket but we are not changing it. First time I've been to banana boy and went with three colleagues for lunch. I ordered their banana boy barbecue half sandwich, the others ordered the Cuban, the Asian, and the regular barbecue. Their bread is crispy and fabulous, the ingredients although somewhat sparse were also excellent. Everyone rated their sandwich except one person with five stars, the other one person rated it at four stars, because he thought he's had better spiced flavor in a Cuban sandwich but everyone would return many times in the future if asked. Customer service was excellent. With several orders in front of us with two people working in the deli, it took about 15 minutes for our four sandwiches. read more

Went to this place to get some juice because I was feeling a bit under the weather. When I got there it was 10 which is right when they opened so the place was a little under prepared with some uncleaned tables and cleaning supplies out. Once the girl who worked there saw me she instantly looked pissed that I was there (and i don't blame her bc it was literally right when they opened) She grabbed her things off the counter really aggressively and took my order with a short tone (and again, I empathized with her because she had some Benadryl on the counter so she was probably sick too) However, what really got me bothered was after I ordered, she just kept mad-dogging me as she was making my juice! I felt so awkward and uncomfortable with her just staring at me all menacingly so once I got my order I left so fast. Unfortunately the juice wasn't great either. Mmmm - Really delicious food - I ordered a tuna sandwich .....and before you completely knock it (which I usually do to be honest, ha) I ordered it from a photo of it I saw on here. It really blew my mind. All the different flavors - healthy and fresh tasting. Not mayo filled like most places... and their sandwich rolls are NUTS - so fluffy with a chewy exterior to hold all the goodness inside. The hubby got at hot sandwich: The Asian Attack....I will attach a photo of his first bite - LOL he was SO STOKED. Still says how good it was. I had to try their house made skinny juice for the sheer fun sound of ingredients - SOOOOOOO good!! My husband and I work from home, so our lunch is the "highlight" of our day...(MINI DATE without the kiddos - WOO WOO!) We drove 15 minutes from home to try this place and we left feeling revived and GREAT! Can't say that about many places after you've stuffed your face with food. The owners and employees were SO friendly and the atmosphere was "HAPPY". :) Try this yummy spot when you crave good home made juices and sandwiches. 10/10!!! P.S. Small family run business, you need to go here. I have stopped in as often as I am in the area. Every sandwich, juice drink, salad I have gotten here was made with care and attention to detail. I wish I could cuss to tell y'all how good the Cubana torta was. I mean it was so foooodghing delicious. Seriously this place earned my respect and appreciation for good local gems in flavor. The bread was toasted just right, the onions were there and you knew it, the pork was aged to another dimension. Unfortunately they're always out of items. (Like half the menu) and you'll find them closed during their regular business hours. I used to like this place but I've come to the realization that they're just unreliable, and it overall seems like they all just don't even want to be there honestly. Sad read more

There is a list for Burrito, Tacos and drinks. The burritos are absolutely huge...I mean literally HUGE. . . we can easily make two meals out of one burrito. Plus, they are so inexpensive...they are under twelve dollars! The most surprising aspect is the "more exotic types"of burritos they offer - Buche and Lengua! My niece bought me lunch from here yesterday and we both LOVED our meals. She got me a sundried tomato wrap filled with tuna and veggies that was so fresh, light, and delicious. There were no heavy sauces and you could easily taste the quality of the crisp and naturally flavorful veggies. My niece had their club sandwich which she swears was one of the best and most filling sandwiches shes had out here in the Murrieta/Temecula area since we are from Orange County originally. This says a lot because there are so many great restaurants back home that we were getting bummed out that nothing compared until we found Banana Boy. If you're a healthy eater or just love delicious food, I highly recommend you give this place a try. They could see how much money you have in your card here, and judge the sh*t out of you. I was buying a sandwich here onetime and my card got declined (i thought my direct deposit came through, which it didnt) so no biggie, i grabbed my other card from my car and came back, when i did i saw the cashier that rung up my order, im guessing shes the owners youngest daughter, was laughing at the matter telling her sister, who blankly looked at her then looked at me. Thats what put me off at this place, and thats the reason im not buying food here anymore. These people seem decent but theyre snobbish restaurant owners. and it goes to show. i love their food tho its great. but the people have no manners. they made me feel embarrassed. read more
