I absolutely love shopping at Frazier Farms Market. This supermarket has such a clean, fresh, and healthy feel to it, and everything always seems thoughtfully arranged and well maintained. The aisles are spotless, the customer service is consistently great, and the made-to-order juice bar is a fantastic touch that really sets this place apart. That said, it's definitely on the pricey side, so it's more of a treat when the budget allows. The meat selection , especially the steaks it's expensive, but you can clearly tell the quality and freshness are there. Their beer selection is another big plus, especially if you enjoy IPAs and craft beers. Monday, July 15: I can't believe that I never wrote a review for Baron's. I love this store with its variety of offerings from gluten-free products to organic fruits & vegetables, and locally made wines. I originally intended to only get fruits & vegetables but my attention was diverted to other items. The store is pristine, bright, and organized. Displays are eye catching & made to tempt the consumer. Yes, I fell for it! The organic peaches at $3.00 per bag were irresistible! I now cannot stop eating these sweet & juicy peaches. The nectarines are refreshing! Purchased salad kits. They offer soups; their chicken noodle soup is the best. Such a comfort whether you have a cold or not. My second favorite is their White Chicken Chili. Their baked goods: cookies, brownies, breads, and baklava were calling my name but I ignored their calls sadly. I know from the past they were delicious. I had to pick up 2 bottles of their fresh squeezed oranges. Reminds me of my mom, who would make it for breakfast every morning when I was a kid. Their organic strawberries are the best; a bit pricey but very worth it! So tasty, fresh, and addicting! Grandson visited & it was game over. He loves strawberries! Need to get more. Bought more produce, sandwiches, wraps, and assembled a salad. Almost bought some wine but thought better of it. The staff is always so cordial and helpful. Barons is the closest store to our house. Barons prides itself in quality over quantity and therefore does not have a huge selection of items. It does have a good selection of cheeses as well as wine and beer. The produce section is outstanding and the baked goods look great. I do wine education and they are one of the few stores I can buy breadsticks that come in 2 per package in a box with several. They have a big salad bar as well as other prepared foods that people get for their lunch or dinner and sometimes their linner. Items found here tend to be on the healthier side and super fresh. Cost is on par with other higher end grocery stores. They also have plants and flowers for sale. Great place to pick up a hostess gift on the way to someone's house. Barons is a great neighborhood store. Definitely worth coming in to visit. read more

I love a cute, clean and friendly grocery store. I'd actually pay a bit more to shop at a nice place like Baron's. They have a great vegetable and produce section, they are well stocked in the bakery and overall have a good selection of just about everything. The only thing it's missing is a fresh meat and fish counter. I'm not a super big fan of packaged meat but other than that it's a friendly place to shop. This was a fun stop off! I saw it as a smaller more neighborhood version of Whole Foods market (where I never shop anymore because of how expensive it is for things I don't really need). But here I went just to check it out. I loved the balsamic vinegar sample bar and the vinegars were well priced. They have a huge candy and snack station sort of like the candy aisle in Trader Joe's. I've tried them all and the sour gummies were soft and not stale. They also have a cookie self service section and someone pressing juice on site. Inside is clean and inviting. I ended up getting a delightful mix from their $9.99 a pound olive bar: olives, feta, marinated artichoke hearts, some giant white beans, stuffed grape leaves. Just nummy! As we got in line, the cashier put up a "Closed" sign while still helping the person in front of us, then reopened and helped the next customer behind us instead. Really frustrating. Let me start by saying that I've never written a review for a grocery store and I just could not help myself. This place is adorable! I've worked in wine country for four years and for some reason I've never set foot in this lovely grocery store. I've had coworkers bring me so much from here and I've definitely heard great things, but I've never gone in myself. I popped in because I forgot lunch and needed to get something for my coworker and myself. I walked straight to the back and found a lovely selection of prepackaged, reasonably priced tasty looking deli sandwiches. They even serve some of them as a half which is excellent! There was also a huge array of cold ready to drink beverages to-go. They even had a grab and go bags of chips for those of us that are picking up lunch. I picked up a yummy turkey sandwich and one for my coworker as well. Out the door for $14 which is an excellent price for a fresh made deli sandwiches for 2! I will certainly be back. Love this cute little market in Temecula, they have everything and it's so welcoming!

Before we moved to Temecula I always remembered Baron's as being the fancy market that we could run into to get key things to bring to a lunch at a winery. Seriously though, you could run in, get some decent blocks of cheese, cold cuts, bread and select oils. Throw in a couple of tempting desserts and voilà! Perfect picnic at the winery. Now that we are local to the market, I still view it as "fancier" - but also acknowledge that it's catered to just a different purpose. If you are looking to do your everyday shopping with familiar brands, Baron's might not have it, BUT they come pretty close. It looks as though they carry their store brand of products, and actually boast quite a few brands that fall more on what you might find at a Sprouts. They have a generous bread section, with a selection that I love to visit for variety (especially the mini brioche sandwich rolls that I absolutely adore for my kiddos lunches). The desserts are always quite the spread, and yes, they do carry Julian apple pie! The produce section has a decent variety of the necessities, but don't expect to find everything here. Same with the dairy and juices offered - I usually get these if I'm in an absolute pinch and don't have time to get it at Vons/Sprouts. They have a mini salad/soup/hot bar that has more than enough choices. Think Whole Foods on a baby scale. Their to-go ribs are actually very very tasty. They are smoked and if you get one that still has some moisture to it, they are pretty darn tasty. Reminds me of a char siu taste almost. The rotisserie chicken is standard, nothing entirely special about it (we are still very biased with Sprouts rotisserie). The cashiers are always pretty friendly, and my take so far with the atmosphere and overall shopping experiences hasn't been bad at all. Although this isn't my first choice for all my shopping needs, this is a great option for a market that can provide an alternative for times I'm in a bind! read more

First glance of this place: It reminds me of Sprouts. Products are exactly what you would get there and pricing wise it was similar or a tad more. I do think both probably use the same KeHe or Unified Warehouse for the products. Even the workers here wears green shirts! But what sets them apart here are the selection of local and California selection of beers and wines. You can sometimes get wines from the Temecula wineries cheaper here than the wineries itself! Which speaks volume for volume pricing I guess. Also they have a selection of olive oils for tastings right in the front. Yes you'll also find some prepared food like sandwiches and salads and soups here as well. Located by the entrance of Rancho California wine country, this location will be the first thing you see right before you hop on that 2 lane road. If you're staying within the Temecula wine country, I think this place is okay. Otherwise, Sprouts sale prices would be the better way to go. read more

Not any more!!! 5 days a week my lunch has been barons salads. Lol I'm still laughing at myself as never did I think I would write a review on salads from a grocery store. So let me tell you the hardships of eating salads for lunch every day. Omg it's so hard to find a good salad. Most premade salads don't look appetizing, a lot of lettuce and little toppings and over priced. Even sprouts salads are kind of on the expensive side but they do taste good. This all stops NOW! Barons salad bar rivals what soup plantation had when they were open, RIP soup plantation. The greens are so fresh that I even stated eating spinach as my primary green! I love loading the fresh veggies such as edamame, shredded carrots, wow come to think of it I even do mushrooms now because it is amazing how they taste fresh. Fresh fresh fresh! So... after I pay it comes out to about 7$ and I'm loaded with so many yummy greens topped with a good chuck of chicken and I'm full for the rest of the work day. I made a point to go back and look at the premade salads and they don't hold a candle to what mine ends up being and... sometimes they actually cost more. The point is, you enjoy it so much more when you can pick what you like. Going on three weeks now and I actually enjoy my trip to barons to grab lunch. It's become a thing. So 5 stars on their super fresh salad bar. When the food cost has been rising everywhere and eating out has become very expensive, this is an opportunity you don't want to miss if salad is your thing. read more

Baron's is a cross between a natural food store, and a grocery store with high prices. Some have compared it to Gelson's or Bristol Farms. I would disagree since the selection is more limited. I would agree the prices only that the prices are inline with these high end grocery stores. They offer a good, not great selection of items. This doesn't include everything that you would see in the chains like Albertsons, Vons, or Ralph's. The store is clean, well stocked, and they have a friendly staff. In the end, I would first shop at Gelson's, or Bristol since they have a wider variety of products. Same high prices at any of the higher end grocery stores. read more

I'm a big fan of Baron's and have gone here for years. I love the Meadows shopping center in general. Baron's is unique. It doesn't have everything but it has more than you expect. It's way down Rancho California Road as close as you can get before hitting the wineries. They do carry a wide selection of local wines and craft beer. They even have Russian River beers I.e. Pliny and recently started carrying heady topper. It has an olive oil tasting dispensers to try before you buy. It has a machine that fresh squeezed orange juice before your eyes. It's never crowded but always full. They don't have a bakery or butcher that is behind a counter but they do have fresh made bakery items and fresh meats. They have all the fruits and veggies I have ever wanted but the store is not that big. There is eggs, milk, meat and a salad bar for grab and go food. It's a wonderland of salads & all that is healthy + comforting for the body. Currently, it's my go-to place for curating cheeseboards & weekend goodies. Pre-Corona Virus Season, my Sunday ritual was to visit the salad bar & procure leafy green veggies for a healthy brekkie, for both my man and me. I learned this from one of my best friends who lives down under in Oz. If you start your day with an infusion of veggies, then there is zero guilt when you want truffle fries much later. You did your antioxidant duty early :) Of course, now, the salad bar has been altered to reflect the times. But I still have much joy in gathering Smoked Gouda, delicate meats, fresh bell peppers, and the various array of chocolates to top off a cheeseboard to start a Friday happy hour. I have savored their chocolate pretzels, the chocolate peanut clusters, and the chocolate caramels. And don't forget to spend time in the wine aisles- six feet apart from your neighbor- while bringing a color palate of both the red and white wines. While Temecula doesn't have a Whole Foods, and the nearest Trader Joe is a trek to the north, Baron's provides a little haven of goodness in the middle of this hometown. And when the wineries one day reopen to better, healthier days, the prepared foods section makes for a good picnic under the hot Temecula sun. We love the garlic pita chips coupled with the jalapeño artichoke dip, the white cheddar popcorn, and the various little dishes of pre-packed grilled chicken and sandwiches that are waiting to be consumed with your favorite bottle of wine. I love supporting a business where the workers are diligent and where yummy goods are procured.
