I enjoyed petting them and feeding the animals and being able to spend that time with the animals unlike in a crowded carnival style place that has a petting zoo. The staff who greeted us at the front were super sweet and friendly and playful too which makes the place feel just like another alternate world full of good, happy people. They have a little shop full of chocolates and when you enter, a staff member offers you a sample. She asked what we would like to try while kids received a milk chocolate with sprinkles on it. Because they're probably made with a lot of love and labor, the chocolates aren't cheap but not ridiculously overpriced either. I'm for sure the type though who would have spent a lot more on the chocolates if the tickets were cheaper but that's just me. I'm sure the ticket sales are better. A lot of people do walk out with purchasing any chocolate when I was there. I had fun looking at all of them though and deciding what I wanted. I will be back again when my children are a little older and it's a good excuse to stop by a winery while you're in the area.

The pathway was full of rocks, which made it extremely difficult to push a stroller. I moved my stroller near the gate where the ground was smoother while waiting for my friends to buy buckets for us. One staff member came up to me and immediately told me I couldn't go in without a bucket. I politely explained that I was not entering yet, just waiting because the rocky path was very hard for my stroller, and my friends were buying the buckets for me. Instead of explaining the rules kindly, she spoke to us with attitude and embarrassed us in front of everyone. The whole line was looking at us, and it felt very uncomfortable. She was impatient and rude instead of simply explaining the rules nicely to first-time visitors. We didn't know that each person needed their own bucket, and we also didn't know group picking was not allowed. That could have been explained respectfully. Customer service is not just about enforcing rules -- it's also about treating customers with kindness and patience. What disappointed me the most was how her attitude suddenly changed after I told my friend she was not friendly at all. Then she started smiling and acting nicer to the next guests. First-time customers who don't know the rules deserve clear explanations, not embarrassment and attitude.

The horseback tour is amazing. You arrive get your paperwork situated and they match you with your horse based off height. All the horses are just so kind. Our tour guy Mark was amazing, talked to us about the venue, the grapevine, took pictures throughout the tour and sent us all the pictures he took as well. Felt safe while riding with our tour guide. The horses do like to sneak in a few pecks off the vines and some more than others...lol but it's manageable. It doesnt look like your high up, but once you saddle up you realize the height, but the more you ride the more comfortable you get on your horse. I loved it. The weather was amazing. All the staff were friendly and professional. Had an over all great ride. We were celebrating my sister birthday and we couldn't have had a better experience and time with our horses and Mark our tour guy. The ride is pretty lengthy but its nice and you get what you pay for. Make sure to bring pants, closed toe shoes and sunglasses. After your ride you can give the horses some cookies, which they love and look forward to it. I enjoyed that part as well. There's only a port-a-potty on sight that I saw. So technically there is a restroom on sight, but we all know how stinky those are. So go before you arrive or the winery next door has restrooms that are much more ample. Definitely worth every penny. Would highly recommend this place to everyone who wants to enjoy and good time riding as well as some good wine afterwards.

And you're able to walk freely around and into the pumpkin tent. The pumpkins have some ants/bugs on the ground around them but that's normal for outdoors. No petting zoo or fancy rides; literally just a ton of inflatables and one little paint gun game and the pumpkin tent. But super cute if you have a kid 3-12 who can slide down inflatables. All 5 adults got in free and we paid $23 for one kid to jump for an hour ($18 for 30 mins). For us that was worth it. Really cool setup and simple but still fun for us!

We visited almost every tree stand in Temecula and ABC had the best price for 7-8' and 8-9' noble fir trees that we came across, except for the big box stores. ABC keeps their trees in water which not all other sellers do. The gentleman that helped us pick out our tree was very helpful, showing us the different options and was patient with us as we went back and forth. We ended up going with a 7-8' noble fir for $139.99 that is definitely at the top end of that range. It is a very full tree. The guys tied it to our roof rack and we were on our way. We'll definitely be back in future years.

From a food science perspective, the curation here is impeccable. I spent a solid ten minutes just admiring the turgidity of the organic Granny Smith apples ($2.99/lb)--crisp, tart, and bursting with malic acid potential. But the real magic? The Hulas coconuts and the bulk bins! There is something deeply primal and satisfying about scooping your own trail mix or pouring shimmering olive oil from a stainless steel fustifermo. The salad and hot bars are a triumph of texture and temperature control. I built a plate that was less a "meal" and more a mosaic of flavors. As I sat there, savoring a bite of their roasted veggies, I thought: This is it. The world is an adventure best tasted in small bites, and Barons provides the perfect map. If you love food that respects its molecular origins and a staff that treats you like a neighbor, you must visit. Very relaxed and casual. It's a maximalist dream of flavor!
