He said he saw ripe ones on the left. So we went straight there and glad we did because other aisles were either red or empty. It's great for first time experience but I don't see us coming back next year unless there are more activities like food trucks, boutique vendors, blackberry snacks. I appreciate them opening the farm to the public but the heat seems to affect the berries and need more water and maintenance. To know especially that these are rescued animals and are being taken care of so carefully, giving us the privilege of being able to give them our love as well, it was a heartwarming experience. Plenty of free parking available right infront of the sanctuary. There is a cute little shop attached to the sanctuary, where you can buy their handmade truffle chocolates which are so delicious (coming from someone who isn't a fan of truffle chocolates), fresh farm eggs, honey, and other delicacies. With your zoo "ticket" you get 2 free samples of their chocolates and a hefty bag of feed for the animals. The animals are mostly in their own pens, with some together. There's even a couple of the pigs you'll find out of pens, just hanging out on the property, laying beside the building. You're able to go into the tortoise pen and feed/pet him as well, 2 people at a time inside the pen, as he does get anxious. You're not able to feed all of the animals, but for the most part you can. Each pen has a sign for which animals are ok to feed/pet and which are not. They are very calm and friendly, as long as you are too. They take the feed very gently and don't bite your fingers. On the weekends they offer pizza made fresh for the visitors, and have plenty of covered outdoor seating options to enjoy. They also offer wine tasting, but we did not partake, as we had just left a winery, but I'm sure it is quite enjoyable as well. She was impatient and rude instead of simply explaining the rules nicely to first-time visitors. We didn't know that each person needed their own bucket, and we also didn't know group picking was not allowed. That could have been explained respectfully. Customer service is not just about enforcing rules -- it's also about treating customers with kindness and patience. What disappointed me the most was how her attitude suddenly changed after I told my friend she was not friendly at all. Then she started smiling and acting nicer to the next guests. First-time customers who don't know the rules deserve clear explanations, not embarrassment and attitude.

Admission into the pumpkin farm is $4 Friday through Sunday and $2 Monday through Thursday, which I thought was pretty reasonable. There was a lot going on around the property with different activities, food, drinks, and even live music. I tried their Killer Marg and it was soooo delicious. It had a really fresh citrusy flavor where you could actually taste the fruit. I do wish there were a few more dedicated photo ops throughout the pumpkin patch because I think that would add even more to the experience, especially around sunset. The horseback tour is amazing. You arrive get your paperwork situated and they match you with your horse based off height. All the horses are just so kind. Our tour guy Mark was amazing, talked to us about the venue, the grapevine, took pictures throughout the tour and sent us all the pictures he took as well. Felt safe while riding with our tour guide. The horses do like to sneak in a few pecks off the vines and some more than others...lol but it's manageable. It doesnt look like your high up, but once you saddle up you realize the height, but the more you ride the more comfortable you get on your horse. I loved it. The weather was amazing. All the staff were friendly and professional. Had an over all great ride. We were celebrating my sister birthday and we couldn't have had a better experience and time with our horses and Mark our tour guy. The ride is pretty lengthy but its nice and you get what you pay for. Make sure to bring pants, closed toe shoes and sunglasses. After your ride you can give the horses some cookies, which they love and look forward to it. I enjoyed that part as well. There's only a port-a-potty on sight that I saw. So technically there is a restroom on sight, but we all know how stinky those are. So go before you arrive or the winery next door has restrooms that are much more ample. Definitely worth every penny. Would highly recommend this place to everyone who wants to enjoy and good time riding as well as some good wine afterwards.
