a basket of strawberries

I've never been here before. My wife's friends have been here and that's how we found out about it. Driving by it doesn't look like somewhere I'd go because it's a below average quality building at the edge of Hemet... but going in everyone there was nice and it wasn't a bad place at all. Their produce is fresh and they grow it. We bought the strawberries. I asked them if it was regular or organic. He asked me what I call organic. With that I mentioned no pesticides. He said the strawberries get some when they are flowers but not when they have strawberries or else their would be no crop. So that seems good with me here.. remember strawberries are apart of the dirty dozen (aka conventionally high pesticides) A positive to fresh produce is higher nutrients. After food is picked it begins losing its nutritional value depending on storage and type. In an ideal situation you pick it and eat right after (within 15min as an example)... These strawberries are delicious. They're also softer than I expected. You can bite them in half and crush it with your tongue alone. Different taste than what I usually eat at sprouts. Except organic at sprouts is almost $5 we paid $8 for the 3 baskets. The (organic) strawberries at sprouts are more sour these are sweeter. Pretty good.. I on the first day I solo'd a basket and a half thinking to finish the other tonight possibly.

Very fair, meaning if there is a long line, they will only sell so many baskets so everybody can have their share.

Stopped by after learning they are being forced to move. I have been meaning to stop by for YEARS…read moreand now I knew I must before I missed my chance. It is not a huge farm. The goats were in a shaded, gated area for "petting". I enjoyed conversation and petting the sweet goats. I bought 4 varieties of their goat cheese, charcoal lavender goats milk soap and some lip moisturizer. Sad to see them go. Being forced out after 14 years is terrible. This area used to be full of farms. Now it is crappy houses and crappy industrial complexes and crappy humans.

I already love goats and enjoyed the cheese from this farm, but this past Saturday I visited the…read morepetting zoo and discovered the joy of their soaps too! I have eczema and severely dry/sensitive skin so I grabbed a "clearance" piece of the natural variety.... A $2 piece that looked like it was leftover from cutting the bars off. Yes my skin is so crazy that I chose natural over honey and oatmeal to try it out! I have never, been excited to use a soap. Some mess my skin up less than others, but I've never experienced relief from a soap. After one handwashing I was already in shock and awe as I noticed my hands feeling smoother and peeling less. Within 3 washes I noticed that the fissures (cracks) in my skin had softened to the point where they were actually able to repair/ heal! I currently have eczema on my eyelids so I decided to give it a go as a face wash and what the hell! A couple hours after washing the bright pink/red spots had already subsided (yes it's still rough! But not even hydrocortisone can heal it that quickly and given how thin eyelids are and sensitive eyelids are I hate the risk associated with using it there can be. I am about to order this for everyone I know with eczema!!!
