Sunmist tangerines very sweet and delicious

It's a cute citrus farm in Temecula, CA known for blueberry picking, tangerines and lemons. The owner was very nice

The owner gave my son fresh squeezed juice, very tasty!

My family had so much fun here. We drove up a windy road to the farm (one part of the road wasn't paved but it wasn't too bad for our little Honda Accord). The owner was such a nice man. He let us park our car on their driveway and also offered my son some free fresh, squeezed juice. It's $20 for a bag and you can fill it with the tangerines yourself. He also offered us complimentary wifi since you get no service up there. The owner said that there's a trail closer to the gate entrance that's easier to pick the tangerines at, it's not as steep. Otherwise, you will be hiking up a path that gets a little steep in certain parts. My recommendation is to bring with you a fruit picker tool as some of the fruit is hard to reach since most of the trees are on a slope. Make sure to wear some good shoes; the trail is dusty, rocky, and has a lot of old fruit that fell from the trees. We went on a Saturday afternoon and it wasn't packed at all. It felt like we had the whole orchard to ourselves. A lot of the trees still had so much fruit. The tangerines tasted really good, sweet! Highly recommend!

This was a little spur of the moment trip. We had other plans that day that I did not realize needed a reservation, so now I was not able to go for a few weeks. So, off we went to try something new and went to pick tangerines at this little farm. We were immediately welcomed and the process was explained to us. You can pick lemons for $1.50/lb or tangerines for $2.50/lb and you can choose between a ten pound bag or a fifteen pound bag. I thought ten was plenty so we went with that. To the left when we started walking up the hill I did see a number of tangerine trees that were loaded with them. But, it was quite steep and we didn't try that. The gentleman did explain that a lot of the more ripe ones would be at the top/back of the area because not many people had been going back there due to the heat. We worked our way up and did get a nice workout from that. On the way there I did see a number of lemon trees, but I didn't come for lemons today. We spent a while picking out tangerines. There were a lot of spotted ones or too ripe ones so it took us a bit, but there were so many tangerine trees to choose from. Since tangerines are tiny, it took a while to fill the bag and we didn't fill it to the very top. It started getting heavy. Be careful during your trip here and during picking because the area does have a lot of steep slopes, so go slowly to avoid falling. My guess is that these ten and fifteen pound bags are more for comparison on lemons, because we didn't feel the ten pound bag all the way and we reached 12.5 pounds when it was weighed on the scale. I have never had so many tangerines in my life so we better get to eating! I had read on other reviews that there is an entry fee of $3 per person on top of the fruit weight but we were not charged. I am not sure if that was missed or if that changed. No credit cards accepted but they do take Zelle and Venmo. There are bathrooms available and there is a stand for juices and stuff that I did not check out. I do know they have a passion fruit drink with boba though, that I almost purchased a full size of. We were provided with samples when we entered and it was good. I had a nice visit here, and it was peaceful as well. Staff was friendly.

Very Beautiful. Went to go pick tangerines with my family. They taste delicious. Highly recommend.

Not a great experience. This was a Groupon purchase but was a bit deceiving. It was a great hiking & picking experience. Only you don't get to keep anything you pick unless you pay an additional $30 to $40. They don't really mention that until you finish climbing the very steep rows of fruit orchards. The gentleman in charge was very nice and hospitable but the arrangement should be explained in a little more detail. All in all we paid $3 for a $10 Groupon which included a very small bottle of juice. We drove 40 miles, climbed steep roads and even steeper fruit groves, picked 2 bags of lemons & tangerines, and paid an additional $20. Which was originally $30 before some negotiation. I would not repeat this activity.

Great place to pick tangerines and lemons. It is beautiful. However, the slopes are quite steep. So come prepared. Kids will have difficulty picking tangerines as the slopes are quite steep. Still a great place for kids to come and enjoy. The tangerines are absolutely delicious. And the juice is just so good despite its cost of six dollars. The tangerines are a bit expensive as well- BUT they are absolutely delicious. Parking is ok but it can get crowded so plan on coming early and make sure to reserve your spot by calling or email- They will still let you in even without reservation if there is space. I will be coming back here often-

Dog friendly! Beware: It can get hot and there's steep hills

Such a great experience! The owners are super friendly and knowledgeable about the tangerines and lemons that they grow. Of course the tangerines were very sweet and juicy. Worth the drive and the money spent! Can't wait to go back! I highly- highly recommend coming here!

This farm is so cute and it's pretty big. There's a lot of tangerine and lemon trees. There's also a couple of vines filled with wine grapes. These three are the fruits you can pick at this farm and for a really good price. I used Groupon and got in for only $2.40. They are open for only four hours from 10am - 2pm. They have bags and wagons for picking and at the end you pay per pound for how much you pick. You can also try the fruits yourself while picking. Me and my boyfriend had a wonderful time here. The tangerines and grapes were so sweet and ripe. The lemons were sour of course. It can be a little difficult to pick since a lot of them were overripe or underripe and it's not too easy to climb up and down the slope to pick the oranges and lemons but it was still fun. The owners were really nice and gave us the tools needed to pick the grapes and some nice tips about eating the fruit. Be wary of the bugs though. I would definitely come back again and probably bring my parents here since this something they definitely want to do.

We ordered the Charcuterie Brunch Board for 20 people which was explained as 20 people sharing as an appetizer or 10 people as a meal. It included: ***Goats Cheeses (Humboldt Fog | Midnight Moon), ***Sheep's Milk cheeses (4 month aged Manchego), ***Cows Milk Cheeses (Mature English Cheddar | Double Cream Fresh Brie), ***Spicy Capicollo | Hard Italian Salami | Prosciutto | Mild Coppa | Bresaola ***Mrs G's Hot Pepper Jelly | Organic Fresh from the Hive Honey & Raw ***Honeycomb ***Rustic Bakery Crisps | Rosemary La Panzanella Crackers ***Temecula's Little Bread Company Mini Butter & Chocolate Croissants ***French Waffles | Kettle Cooked Fudge Chocolates ***Italian Olives | Cornichons | Caper Berries ***Fresh Fruit | Fresh Herbs The ordering process was very easy and the store is very cute. When we arrived, the place was hopping and the poor woman at the front could not find our order. It took some time but she eventually found it. The board was very pretty. $300 seemed steep for what it was, and it really didn't feel like it accommodated 20 people as an appetizer. I provided tiny plates and after our party got up to serve themselves there was barely anything left. At any rate, I'm a fan of Grazing Theory! While I probably wouldn't do one of these big boards again, I'd certainly do a personalized or a board for a few people. The quality and the aesthetics are great.

I personally like mead more than wine, and upon my visit to Temecula, I was excited to be able to try this place! We came in during a lull, and the owner Derek was there to personally serve us. He was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly an excellent maker of mead. He even has a variety of fun events you can sign up for like Viking nights where they have axe throwing and turkey legs, as well as Mead-Making classes with the man himself. We went with two of the flights: the new seasonal flavors and the classics. I was a big fan of the seasonal flavors, they were sweet and crisp, and the different fruit flavors really shone through. I liked the Thor's Courage the best of the classics flight, it was a sparkling mead that tasted the most like just classic honey mead. We asked for a recommendation based on our likes, and he offered us a glass of the Golden Butter Bee Mead, and it tasted as good as it sounded. It kinda was what I think Butterbeer should taste like. We ended up taking a bottle home. He also shared with us that he started his company in 2019, right before the pandemic, and he was able to survive by using his own truck to deliver mead all over the country. If that isn't a testament to his dedication to the craft and the quality of the mead, I'm not sure what is. Will definitely be back when I'm by Temecula, and I want to try to make one of the events sometime soon!

I could not have been more happy to have had the chance to come here! Derek is extremely friendly, and Batch Mead hosts multiple monthly events from their viking nights to their mead making courses; he is so incredibly knowledgeable in his craft, it is delightful to just sit and take the time to listen to him talk about his passion. Built into an industrial park (like many breweries today), the decor was incredibly tasteful and I really appreciated what he was able to do with the space to make it warm and welcoming, down to the glasses he used to serve the drinks. Now to the Mead itself, we ordered two taster flights as well as a glass of the Golden Butter Mead. To sum up my feelings about the entire ensemble, absolute perfection! Of all the mead I have had (which is a surprisingly large amount), Batch Mead blew my mind. If I was ever to try and describe what good mead should be, Derek's would be what I was describing to a tea. They ranged from semi-sweet to very sweet, but were all absolutely amazing and worth the drive up to Temecula alone. I will not only be returning, but this will likely become a staple in my drinking rotation!
