Hidden surprise!
Jennifer N.

Coming here is an annual tradition for our family. We always come early before it gets too hot and make sure not to wash the car ahead of time since parking is in the dirt/mulch. Prices are so reasonable and the berries are always so sweet and better than anything you could find in the grocery store. Bring cash and some quarters to feed the goats. It's a family run farm and you really get the sense this is a labor of love and not profiteering--the teenagers make shaved ice for $3. We always make crumble top blueberry muffins when we get home and munch on the rest, the berries never make it past a day or two. I will come here to pick berries even when my kids are grown--the berries are that delicious! This farm embodies the spirit of Temecula.

It's nice out here but!!! They won't let anybody over five years old in without paying for a bucket. It's like their entry fee even if you don't want to pick you still have to pay for an entry fee. Which is the small bucket and it's six dollars. I love this place and I don't remember them charging per person years ago. But this is not cool.

This has become one of our family traditions! Experiences like this are hard to come by and so much fun for families. While prices of containers are a little more than grocery stores, I love supporting this small business and will gladly pay. Fortunately, the blueberries are delicious! They're large, sweet, and crisp. Staff is so helpful and friendly, and the farm is actually pretty large, so there's lots of space to separate from other parties and PLENTY of berries. My only suggestion would be to have weekday evening options, to avoid busy weekends with littles and have cooler weather for picking! Can't wait to keep coming back every year!

Blueberry season is about to end. You'll need to check their website for their hours. This farm is not too far from Old Town Temecula. About 15 mins and through residential neighborhoods. No admission fee but each person must purchase a container to enter. Small ($6), Medium ($12), Large ($20). The lids must fully close flat when exiting. If it over flows, they'll make you upgrade to the next size. No sampling allowed! Plucking berries was actually pretty clean. No mess. Gently use your thumb and flick them towards you to fall into your palm. The farm is big so spread out away from the crowds and check high and low. We found that most of the large ripe plump ones were hidden between the not so ripe batch. Some ends of the aisles have rose bushes. Be careful of bees and thorns. They sell snow cones for $3 inside next to the big blueberry sign. Other activities include a small farm area with roosters and goats. You may purchase 25cent seeds to feed the goats. Porta Potties are located outside in front of the entrance. Parking: -As you drive down the big hill, you'll see the farm on your right and parking spaces. -There are extra lots on the left and straight ahead -Handicap parking directly in front of entrance Tips: -CASH ONLY (there's an ATM) -Sunblock-It may be gloomy but the sun will peak out and those Uv rays are dangerous -Bring water, hat, sunglasses -Wear closed toe shoes and shoes that you don't mind getting dirty from all the dirt kickback -Bring any props you want for photos. I brought a tin pail for the berries. Looks better than those white containers. I also brought a tiny step stool for sitting poses and a tripod. -I brought a cooler w ice packs to keep the berries cold and fresh on the hour drive home -Reserve about 2 hours Outside the entrance, you'll find a walk up shop selling blueberry bread, lip balm, chutney, jam, honey, etc. I didn't see water or food/snacks. Would be nice if they had a food truck.

I drove 2 hours to get there and it was not worthy! I could not see any fruit from the car park, should have trusted my eyes. Got myself a medium size box and it took forever to fill it up!

This was a wonderful berry picking experience and our first time here! There is a good amount of parking in dirt lots and parking spaces. At the entrance you choose from one of three container sizes before you enter. Everyone older than 5 (I think) must enter with a container. Then you just enjoy picking the best berries you can find. Of note, they sadly do not accept credit cards. You can pay with personal check, though. I believe I did see an ATM on site, but I am not 100% sure. I wish they had a sticker of some sort for the box tops, as they tend to pop open when full (they are just Chinese food take out containers). Also, the wire handles get a little painful after picking and holding the container for a while. The blueberries themselves are delicious! Far sweeter and juicier than anything you will find in a grocery store. Well worth a visit!!

Best blueberries. Enjoy picking at your own leisure. I look forward to going to the blueberry farm each year.

Call ahead, they are closed some days when they don't have enough berries. That's a plus as I've been fruit picking where they let people in and there's nothing to pick. We had a wonderful time. Everyone needs to buy a container to gain entrance in except if you're a baby. This is good because it isn't overrun with people who aren't picking and causing havoc. Just the truth. $6 for the smallest container is reasonable considering the cost of blueberries in the store now. I opted for the $20 largest container and still think it's a deal as these are organic and taste amazing. The shrubs are low, and ripe berries just come off easily. Don't pick the reddish blue ones, stick with the dark dark ones and they are tasty. Very organized shrubs and safe orchard compared to other places I've been (jujube, apple, strawberry and raspberry picking). I'm looking forward to picking returning and also picking up some boysenberries. If you're coming from out of town, make a day out of Temecula and visit a winery or old town Temecula.

There are not so many places near San Diego where you can do berry picking. Strawberries are available when in season, but not much of anything else. I was thrilled to learn about blueberry picking in Temecula. Its a bit of a drive but totally worth it. Its a nice day out with your family or friends. Something to know before you get there - you need to check their site or Facebook page for opening hours and dates. There is no shade, it gets very hot so bring lots of water and a hat. They take cash ONLY. Each person has to have a container in order to enter the blueberry picking field. Parking is easy, just dirt lot next to the farm.

A great family experience for both adults & kiddos. Parking was easy & free, there was a lot attendant guiding traffic upon entrance. Blueberry fees were as published on Yelp! We purchased 2- small@$6 and 2- medium@$12. Large were $20/ each. *each box purchased=entrance fee, EVERYONE ENTERING MUST PURCHASE A BOX. The farm had plenty of blueberries to pick, the staff provided us recommendations where to start after paying. Our boxes were full within 45 minutes, it was quite busy during the weekend we visited but well worth it. There's a few of areas for photo-ops and family pics. There wasn't any sitting areas or shade so just be aware if you have an elder with you there's nowhere to sit, that I saw. *It may be wheelchair accessible for some but it would be a bit bumpy due to gravel/ dirt with rocks on ground, of course this could be based on individual preference* Visited in May and it was not too hot, a nice 72! Bring a hat.

Lovelyn M.

What a fun experience for the whole family! Be prepared with cash or check but an ATM machine is available on site. While there's no entrance fee, each person must purchase a container -whether or not you're picking blueberries - to enter the blueberry field. A $6 pint container took each of us about 25 min to fill up!

Blueberry picking at its finest! We took our kids on a Saturday and this was the place to be. We didn't know what to expect and when we arrived around 1130a this place was packed! Coming from San Diego, we thought we were lost going thru residential but keep following google and you will end up at the berry fields. When you arrive, there is parking on the main road (dirt) and there are a couple of dirt parking "lots". Since the berry field is only open during the weekend, there is someone to direct you on parking. When we arrived the guy said that the lots were pretty full so feel free to drive thru to check for parking. Ya, is and about 20 other cars! Nonetheless, a lot of folks decided to come at opening and luckily several families were leaving so be patient and you will find parking. We took a wagon for our kids and I had a baby carrier for my newborn. The wagon was super helpful for the kiddos that the aisles were wide enough to bring a wagon or stroller. There are 3 different size containers and we chose the largest at $20. No entrance or parking fee which is awesome. There are lots of pic opportunities for the kids and a few animals located near the entrance. The field is huge so there was enough social distancing and never felt crowded even though there were lots of visitors. Some people wore masks but most didn't. It was just nice being outdoors. The kids had a blast picking blueberries and the berries were ample, big, and sweet! Our large container was enough for our family of 5 to last a week. Such a fun place to visit and highly recommend the visit!

I enjoyed petting them and feeding the animals and being able to spend that time with the animals unlike in a crowded carnival style place that has a petting zoo. They have a little shop full of chocolates and when you enter, a staff member offers you a sample. She asked what we would like to try while kids received a milk chocolate with sprinkles on it. Because they're probably made with a lot of love and labor, the chocolates aren't cheap but not ridiculously overpriced either. I'm for sure the type though who would have spent a lot more on the chocolates if the tickets were cheaper but that's just me. I'm sure the ticket sales are better. A lot of people do walk out with purchasing any chocolate when I was there. I had fun looking at all of them though and deciding what I wanted.
