It was a very cozy and intimate setting, where the farm owner, Belinda, took us through the process of how she crafted her tea blends. We tried white, green, oolong, and black tea bases, then were allowed to experiment with different add ones to craft our own personal tea blends to take home. It was an unique experience and as a tea lover myself, I really enjoyed the process of pairing teas with other ingredients to create delicious blends. The workshop brought to light how the process of creating tea blends is a labor intensive process, requiring refinement through trial and error. After finding our tea ingredient ratios, we could enjoy complimentary tea brews and scones. I liked the strawberry lavender tea so much, that I ended up purchasing it to take home. I truly loved this experience as it is one-of-a-kind. I highly recommend to any tea lover to try it for themselves.

The decor of the farm was very beautifully set. The farm itself was very organized and well kept. There were a variety of flowers, vegetables and saw 2 goats. Easy to walk even though I wore wedges. It does get a tiny bit dusty, but it's a farm anyway. At the end of the tour, we got to assemble flowers or basils to put into our vases. I loved basils so I got to cut basils and some vibrant flowers that were gorgeous. After we got to get our boxed dinners. It was a very nice presentation. Everything tasted so delicious and it was made by the owners daughter. She's a chef. I particularly loved the hummus. It was so savory and flavorful; when I asked for more, they don't have any extras. The quinoa salad was very good too. The raw vegetables were so delicious--tbh I've never had such sweet, fresh, and crunchy vegetables in my life. It was so good when dipped into the hummus. We got to see the sunset and take pictures ourselves. seating at the table is first come first serve and you can sit anywhere you want. They provide free water and coffee. The coffee with their homemade syrup and honey was so good!! And the milk or cream that they provide made the coffee taste so good. Wonderful experience! Would recommend.

They didn't have designated handicap parking but they do have closer parking if you drive past the flags and parallel park along the fence. We were the first at 8am to beat the heat. One crawled up my boots and bite my leg. -We brought gloves to avoid the berry juice -We shared 1 quart size -Bring a cooler if you have a long drive -You may sample 1 or 2 while picking -An area with picnic tables in the shade -Bring step stool if you want the kiddos to reach the higher branches I actually found blueberry picking to be more satisfying than blackberries. At least with blueberries, they were ripe and you look for the largest one. Blackberries are different because you only pick the black ones and ignore the red ones. Takes more effort to look for ripe ones that are decent in size to fill up our bucket. You'll have to look high and low. It can also get messy. When I paid, I asked for tips. He said he saw ripe ones on the left. So we went straight there and glad we did because other aisles were either red or empty. It's great for first time experience but I don't see us coming back next year unless there are more activities like food trucks, boutique vendors, blackberry snacks. I appreciate them opening the farm to the public but the heat seems to affect the berries and need more water and maintenance. For just $25, you get a bag that you can fill with whatever is in season. During our visit, we picked tangerines, oranges, lemons, and limes, but they have a great variety depending on the time of year. The orchard is huge, and one of my favorite parts was the owner's philosophy: everything you can eat while you're on the property is included. We definitely took advantage of that and enjoyed fresh fruit right off the trees. It doesn't get any fresher than that! The property is beautiful, the parking was easy, and the whole experience was relaxing and family-friendly. We saw plenty of families with strollers, and the walking paths were wide enough to navigate comfortably. Just keep in mind that much of the orchard is on a hillside, so I highly recommend wearing comfortable tennis shoes or closed-toe shoes for better footing and to protect your feet. One tip: their hours are limited (I believe they're only open on Saturdays and Sundays), so I'd recommend arriving early, especially on warmer days. You'll beat the heat, have the best selection of fruit, and enjoy the orchard before it gets busy. This is so much more than just buying fruit--it's an experience. We'll absolutely be bringing our friends and family back because it was such a fun way to spend the day. SHORT VERSION: Wilson Creek Manor is an Avantstay property…read more "Unparalleled service" is supposedly one of their hallmarks but all I got was very poor service. Oh, and by the way, the previous owner MURDERED someone on this property. LONG VERSION: Booked Wilson Creek Manor directly through Avantstay's website but the day before check-in I got an email saying they had to cancel my reservation because of a broken water heater. Why wouldn't you CALL instead of just emailing? My reservation was less than 2 days away, call and leave a voicemail. I called Avantstay immediately after I saw the email and the call gets routed to some overseas call center. The person can't help and says they'll reach out to the dept that handles this and I should hear back within the hour. 1.5 hours later I still haven't received a callback so I call again. Same response, said I should hear back in an hour. 1.5 hours later, still no call, I call again, now they say I should receive a call by 5pm (5.5 hours later). My check-in date is the NEXT DAY! 5pm might be too late because what if they don't call me back and everyone goes home for the day? Then they change their answer to someone will call back in an hour. But I've heard that one before. FINALLY someone who can help calls back and finds me a replacement property. After we hangup I discover a hiccup. One of the families staying with us was planning to bring their dog they noticed that the new property doesn't allow pets. We paid a pet deposit so this is something that Avantstay should've caught and pointed out. That family had to find a last minute accommodation for their dog so that was another added inconvenience. Another hiccup: I was told I'd receive check-in instructions the next morning. On the way to the property my wife asks for the details of how to get inside the property so she could send it to the other families. Realized I didn't receive those details. Had to call Avantstay once again. Another inconvenience. This is all BEFORE we even stepped foot onto the property. While on the property we discovered someone was MURDERED in that house. This spooked everyone and no one was able to sleep well.
