For just $25, you get a bag that you can fill with whatever is in season. During our visit, we picked tangerines, oranges, lemons, and limes, but they have a great variety depending on the time of year. The orchard is huge, and one of my favorite parts was the owner's philosophy: everything you can eat while you're on the property is included. We definitely took advantage of that and enjoyed fresh fruit right off the trees. It doesn't get any fresher than that! The property is beautiful, the parking was easy, and the whole experience was relaxing and family-friendly. We saw plenty of families with strollers, and the walking paths were wide enough to navigate comfortably. Just keep in mind that much of the orchard is on a hillside, so I highly recommend wearing comfortable tennis shoes or closed-toe shoes for better footing and to protect your feet. One tip: their hours are limited (I believe they're only open on Saturdays and Sundays), so I'd recommend arriving early, especially on warmer days. You'll beat the heat, have the best selection of fruit, and enjoy the orchard before it gets busy. This is so much more than just buying fruit--it's an experience. We'll absolutely be bringing our friends and family back because it was such a fun way to spend the day. Highly recommend if you're looking for fresh citrus, beautiful scenery, and a memorable outing!

This is a private mom & pops farm and they provide buckets and clippers as well. If you rather not pick your own fruits they have fruits stand with already picked fruits you can purchased. Their fruit stand consist of lime, naval oranges, persimmon, grapefruits, the hard to find blanca sapote. Which if you've never had it, you must let it sit on the counter until it's ripe and soften to eat. They're sweet and custardy and I've never found them in supermarkets. You must go early October- early November. By mid November their persimmons are already picked cleaned or too high up to pick. We do love walking the farm and taking photos. The family also have dogs and they are dogs friendly. They even offered my dog, Peanut a dog treat but we kept our dog in the car most of the time. They do allow dogs on leashes and you must pick up after your dogs. On one side of the farm they also have jujube and another type of persimmon. Must ask before picking these. We went across the street for riding lessons for the girls. Door dash and instacart work here which was nice. Overral worth it and we would come back. Great for families and adult get a ways. I could see this being great for a wedding or Bachelorette get a way.

I especially appreciated what seemed like local art being used throughout the entire house to tastefully decorate -- without going overboard with clutter. That was well done. But, netting out at almost $800/night increases expectations and so it probably deserves more like 3 or 3-1/2 stars. It was a 3 bedroom home and was ok -- nothing fancy or high-end. So maybe the cost was based on the size? Importantly, what we really believed we were paying extra for that would have been worth the money was the "farm stay" aspect. It may have been a house on a farm property, but it was not a "farm stay experience." The only thing that came close were the animals, but their enclosures were small, cramped, on the side of the road (which was steep and hard to walk on), and the animals did not look healthy or well taken care of. The alpaca's fur was matted up and many of the chickens had bald spots on their backs, potentially due to overcrowding, rooster overbreeding, or aggressively going after each other in such a small space for so many hens (and hopefully not from parasites). It was a side show vs. a real farm experience. Back to the house, another attraction in the listing was the hot tub -- but it had a really horrible smell. The towels we used to dry off with kept the smell too. We used it on the first day, but not afterward. It's a shame. If the hot tub issue were fixed, the property is nice enough, but I do believe it is mis-marketed. It'd probably be very appealing for a bigger group who is visiting the Temecula wine country scene, but who doesn't want to be in the middle of the fray and, instead, wants a quieter location that feels off the beaten path. It should not be marketed as a "farm stay." And the poor animals should definitely go, especially as they feel like such an after thought on the property anyhow.

You can actually see the hens that lay your eggs! They have a lot of space and a little water area to hang out in. We decided to follow through on the adventure, as we jumped into the car, dropped the top, and headed down a winding road toward the property. Upon arrival, I was thrilled to find the parking area was paved and the winery appeared to be new, perched atop a valley overlooking trees, vines, and green farmland. Upon entering, we were greeted by the owner and staff with friendly smiles. After a brief explanation from the owner, we selected two tasting flights and took a seat outside to enjoy the view. Flight 1: 2024 Pinot Grigio, 2023 Rose, 2021 Red Blend, 2023 Muscat. Flight 2: 2023 Teroldego (Distant cousin of Syrah), 2022 Merlot, 2021 Cabernet Sauvignon, 2021 Red Blend. The property was rustic yet modern, resembling a family room, living room, bar, and dining room, with a spacious outdoor entertainment area for all to enjoy, featuring sofas, coffee tables with fire pits, and end tables. Other seating options included picnic tables and beach chairs, perched at different levels along the cliff overlooking the vines and valleys below. On this particular day, it was quite windy, which made the outdoor option a bit chilly. This winery has food vendors, but allows patrons to bring food for on-site consumption. Overall, the experience was nice and relaxing, with gentle music playing in the background, allowing for pleasant conversations without the bar atmosphere typically found at wineries in Temecula. The wine was nice and refreshing, as we sipped and enjoyed the prosciutto, cheese, fruit, and chips we brought along. Adobe Hill is a definite return in the near future, having checked all of my favorable boxes.

We had a bottle of the 2021 cab and a 2021 red blend, and both were great choices. There was also a pizza vendor on-site, and the pizzas were amazing. Maddie took care of us and was incredibly attentive. Even though we were seated outside, she consistently came by to check on us throughout our three-hour stay, which we really appreciated and elevated our experience. The winery is a bit out there, but if you're in the area or looking for a great winery to spend a relaxing day, I highly recommend this spot.
