Love this market, they always have what I need for making my favorite meals at home. Inside is usually well stocked, staff at meat counter are helpful. The bakery items are so yummy. Everything inside is well organized and the layout makes sense.

Not bad, first time here after living here for so long I can't believe I waited so long to come here. They seem to have everything you need for all Asian cooking. I usually go to 99 ranch in corona but it is far so thought I'd stop here. They had everything I was looking for. It just smell a little funky, my kids wouldn't stop complaining about it. But I'd told them all Asian grocery smell like this because they have seafood in the tank and such.

I'm so glad a friend of mine recommended 88 to us when we visited them! I needed some ingredients to make champurado and I had no problem finding it all! I loooove seeing this oriental store here in Temecula! I'm sure they're very popular with the Asians here so they don't have to drive out to LA/OC. One thing I did notice is that their pricing are fairly high. It's not too bad but it does add up. I'm just glad all the produce look fresh and the whole store looks clean! The staff are quick and professional.

The 88 Ranch Marketplace, not to be confused with 99 Ranch, is a sight for sore eyes especially living far away from all the stores between LA and San Diego-I don't believe there are anything close to these stores in the Inland Empire. That said, they have most of the Asian staples you need to make those special dishes you crave. Lots of treats you won't find everywhere and a huge seafood section fresh! Decent beer selection but I didn't see the a lot of Sake, unless I missed it?? And they have hot foods - separate from them in same building for take out and area outside to eat. Next door is 85 Degrees Oh My:)

Great selection and great customer service! Perfect for if you're looking to do hot pot or get some veggies. It's right next door to a 85C bakery too

Our first and perhaps only visit to the market would easily qualify for 1 star if not for our cashier, Elizabeth. She was the only employee in the entire store that showed any professional courtesy to us. Every other employee we saw never looked at us or acknowledged us. They all walked around with a permanent frown. Before Elizabeth finished checking us out a very annoyed employee reluctantly came to the register with that permanent frown, did not acknowledge us but only grunted when Elizabeth made her way to complete our transaction. This store easily qualifies for the worst customer service award. I thanked Elizabeth for showing kindness and she apologized for our experience. The store has a lot of spices, pastes, seasonings and other items for my Asian fusion creations. However, good luck finding items as it is not organized well and no employees to help. Good thing there are other choices in Temecula for these items. It will be a cold day in hell before I return to this poorly run market.

I don't frequently visit this market due to my work schedule, but each time I visit it reminds me that I should shop there more frequently. Great place to feed and satisfy my love for Asian cuisine without the hassles of reservations, ordering, or takeout wait. Especially, when you love to cook! 88 Ranch Market offers seafood, meats, vegetables, canned goods, and dry goods for preparing Thai, Japanese, Korean, Chinese, and other Asian cuisine. Items you will not find in your local grocery store. Prices vary, well worth it.

Opened package of tripe spilling out onto the dirty shelves of the meat cooler. I hope they don't repackage and sell it!

I used to love coming here, but I have no clue what happened recently but your customer service is sorely lacking more than normal. The people working and stocking in the aisles are very rude and unhelpful, the cashiers you had working today were also giving the same attitudes. One worker in an aisle, squeezed in front of me between me and the shelf while I was about to grab a couple items when he could have passed behind me. It's like you just hired a bunch or bored, angsty, entitled, cheap labor that couldn't care less to be there. Be better, do better, have pride in your store and serving the community that supports you!

Was happy to have found this Asian market in Temecula, unfamiliar territory for me. Lots of Asian delights, cookware, snacks, vegetables, meats, and sweets. Grabbed a few snack items to take to the hotel. Helpful staff. A medium sized Asian market. Looks like they are bringing in a bakery next door.

It's one of the few Asian markets in Temecula so prices can get pretty expensive for certain items compared to surrounding areas such as San Diego and Orange County. Workers aren't always the friendliest, but they do their job. There are various Asian food items to select from but sometimes I question the freshness of the food. The store could be much more cleaner and organized; however, it appears they are trying to rearrange the store at the moment.. They also recently added a crane arcade, which I plan to try out sometime with the kiddos. There's not much competition so I still have to go here lol I can't wait for the 85 degrees bakery to open!

Not perfect, but helpful when you're in need of certain Asian ingredients. This store is a lifesaver for when my mom needs something for a dish and the American grocery stores don't have it. There are also a lot of foods that they don't have, but they have a majority of them. We discovered the store when we badly needed this Korean BBQ sauce and called to see if they had any. Someone there picked up the phone right away and we were able to stop by just before they closed! The shop is fairly clean for an Asian grocery store, but the workers aren't exactly welcoming. We went to the butcher and the guys there just glared at us. The prices are a bit higher than the Asian supermarkets down in Orange County, but it makes sense considering they're the only Asian market within 50 miles. Overall, really great for Asian ingredients that you can't find at other grocery stores.

From a food science perspective, the curation here is impeccable. I spent a solid ten minutes just admiring the turgidity of the organic Granny Smith apples ($2.99/lb)--crisp, tart, and bursting with malic acid potential. But the real magic? The Hulas coconuts and the bulk bins! There is something deeply primal and satisfying about scooping your own trail mix or pouring shimmering olive oil from a stainless steel fustifermo. The salad and hot bars are a triumph of texture and temperature control. I built a plate that was less a "meal" and more a mosaic of flavors. As I sat there, savoring a bite of their roasted veggies, I thought: This is it. The world is an adventure best tasted in small bites, and Barons provides the perfect map.
