I was excited to suddenly see a Smart & Final in Temecula, taking over the old Best Buy space on Temecula Parkway. There is plentiful parking available and the lot is connected to the Ralph's next door which I typically frequent. This is a large store, brightly lit, clean and incredibly organized. The front doors open to a spacious produce section with tons of organic items priced so well that I've been stopping here first to stock up on veggies and fruit before even checking at Ralphs next door. There are plenty of bulk item options if you need them and every department was so neat and well-stocked. Although I didn't see any self-checkout lines which I usually prefer, I've been so impressed with the very friendly and helpful staff here in checkout and throughout the store. This Smart & Final location is now on my regular shopping rotation list!

Whoooo hooo...a Smart & Final here in south Temecula! Stopped in at the grand opening week for this location. We were greeted as soon as we approached, and given the low down for their specials. The store is brand new, and everything was stocked and looked so nice. The employees were hustling around, we were approached several times to see if we needed help, and to direct us around the store. They have great regular prices, and warehouse prices. You can even buy things by the case. This store is part grocery and part warehouse. No membership needed here folks. It doesn't appear to have a true bakery or meat counter, but it does have premade bakery items, whole chickens and fresh sushi made daily, so all of that must be in the back away from shoppers view. Definitely worth looking at again, so glad it is only 5 minutes from my home. They gave out free reusable bags with a purchase today, very nice. Will def be back.

The aisles are spotless, the customer service is consistently great, and the made-to-order juice bar is a fantastic touch that really sets this place apart. That said, it's definitely on the pricey side, so it's more of a treat when the budget allows. The meat selection , especially the steaks it's expensive, but you can clearly tell the quality and freshness are there. Their beer selection is another big plus, especially if you enjoy IPAs and craft beers. Overall, it's a wonderful market with premium products, and I'll absolutely keep coming back whenever my wallet agrees!

I…read morewalk into Barons Market on Rancho California Rd, and immediately, my olfactory receptors are singing. This isn't just a store; it is a gallery of edible art! From a food science perspective, the curation here is impeccable. I spent a solid ten minutes just admiring the turgidity of the organic Granny Smith apples ($2.99/lb)--crisp, tart, and bursting with malic acid potential. But the real magic? The Hulas coconuts and the bulk bins! There is something deeply primal and satisfying about scooping your own trail mix or pouring shimmering olive oil from a stainless steel fustifermo. The salad and hot bars are a triumph of texture and temperature control. I built a plate that was less a "meal" and more a mosaic of flavors. As I sat there, savoring a bite of their roasted veggies, I thought: This is it. The world is an adventure best tasted in small bites, and Barons provides the perfect map. If you love food that respects its molecular origins and a staff that treats you like a neighbor, you must visit. Very relaxed and casual. It's a maximalist dream of flavor!

We don't shop here very often so not familiar with the layout but there was clear signage over the aisles. They had Valentine's Day items for sale & we saw some exorbitantly priced wines on display. I'd like to know who can afford those! We find their prices a slightly higher than the other supermarkets but it's a very inviting grocery store. The employees are very friendly. Overall, there is a good selection and with weekly coupons there are a lot of good deals to be found. Their buy six bottles of wine is a really good deal. We have found some very good wine, like Opolo and Austin Hope. Also very convenient is the pharmacy. Their florist department is not as good as other markets in the area. Recently I had an issue with an Amazon gift card I purchased here. It seems the issue is with the gift cards from Amazon, which when you scratch off the back, the middle numbers are missing. One of the cashiers told me they have recently had this happen often. It was a real hassle getting my money credited back. I hope Ralph's pulls the cards and returns them to Amazon. Just beware if you buy gift cards for Christmas gifts--your gift recipient may not be able to use the card.

Sometimes you just want a certain amount of a product and that is the best way to go. They have a fresh sushi bar! Unfortunately they are always out of spicy tuna so I haven't gotten sushi there in quite a while. If they had spicy tuna on the shelf I'd buy sushi every time I was shopping there. One thing that I like about the produce department is that they have fresh vegetables. They're vegetables are not inexpensive but they're good and I like that they always have eggplant. I never see artichokes there though. Their fruit department has something left to be desired. The only consistent tasting fruits are apples and oranges. Most of the time their offerings of berries and tomatoes are tasteless or old. That being said, this is still the best place to go for most of your groceries. You will save oodles of money if you shop here on a consistent basis. It's awesome that it's an employee owned company! You would think that would give the employees a better attitude but unfortunately there are not that many smiling faces working there. I wonder what goes on behind the scenes with management. All in all, I sure hope WinCo isn't leaving the area anytime soon. No place is perfect and despite some of the issues they have I would be very sad if I couldn't go shopping there anymore.

Recent renovations makes it look even better and cleaner with the new look and layout. There's only few items that I don't like, so I always get my groceries from here. I love all their seasonal items and stock up on my faves before they run out. It's also my place to go to for reasonably priced, beautiful fresh flowers and plants. Some are too good to pass up like the PB&C, so we stock up. Others are a miss for our taste buds but the prices make it easy to account for the few that aren't a hit in my household. Also, the staff is very friendly and offers great recommendations to keep my family menu fresh and adding something new to the rotation. Of course, a review wouldn't be complete without mentioning the limited and tight parking. It's a running joke that Trader Joe's choose locations with the worse parking options and this one is no different. Once you prepare yourself for that, you can shop at this small location and find yourself checking out with no wait at all. The location is well staff and keeps the lines moving plus the shelves stock. A must visit for your snacking and meal needs.
