New owners took over a few months ago and this place took a quick turn. Went from a nice place to get snacks/drinks and a convenient place to stop when at the lake. Now all the doors are locked, paper signs taped to the door, bunch of random stuff for sale. Unsanitary practices by the new owners. Feels like a poorly run quicky mart vs the nice convenience store that it was. Landscaping and building maintenance make this place look abandoned as well. Doesn't look like it's in the nice neighborhood that Harveston is. read more

I do not even want to give this place one star. I am so frustrated by the fact that not only do they sell Nee Dohs for 3x the price ($20 instead of $5.99), but they are FAKE! This store has a good selection of mainstream snacks, international snacks, and new products. The store is well stocked and neat in appearance. Of all the staff members I've come across (owner, teens, older staff, etc.), all were very polite and courteous. An improvement to be made would to have the restrooms open up for patrons (like it was in the beginning) again. Maybe have a code to use for access. Having the lack of running water to be able to wash up after a child eating ice cream, is challenging. The closest public would at the Harveston Lake Park, which is just on the other side. read more

So basically I tried to go to the bathroom and it was locked. So we went up to the front and they gave me the key, I was like okay. I unlocked the bathroom door and the first thing I see on the floor is two teenagers doing something very explicit. These teenagers these days! Once I left I was traumatized and my eyes can't unsee what I saw. Word of advice, don't use the bathrooms and beyond! read more

We found this Delhi market nearby Harveston Lake Park. I remember this place as a small town hall used to hold various events such as birthday parties, congregation, etc. The interior gave the feeling of a gas station food stop. There were pastries, assorted beverages, candies, and a variety of snacks. Perfect location after a quick walk or run around the park. read more

We went to have a fat burger. I thought I'd have a nice fresh burger. It was like cardboard, old and dried out. The fries were kind of soggy. It was terrible. They need to make it fresh plus he only had one table in there with three chairs this is the new one over on Auld rd by the courthouse, they need to improve ASAP. What?! I didn't know this little market was in Harveston! It looks a bit like a house, so it was hidden. Very cute, clean, and welcoming store. The owner was friendly! There is seating outside with the view of park and lake. They also have a sandwich menu and a kid play area inside! read more

Older Asian lady charged me twice. $28 was the bill, I ended up paying $56 for 2 Pepsi's, 1 Red Bull, 2 sandwiches and an ice cream. Aint that special. She denied charging me twice of course, even though the machine printed out 2 receipts for $28. She could have easily credited me back $28 instead now I have to dispute it with my credit card. And yes my credit statement showed 2 charges for $28. Watch out when you buy here. read more

Walked in to have the attendant turn the air on to fill a low tire. He was extremely rude (seemed like he was the owner) and said we had to be a customer (I've never had this issue in california as gas stations provide free water and air). I had no problem paying, but this attendant was super rude about it. Also when I went to pay their advertised price was $1.00 but the machine charged $1.25. For a new place I was excited to start going to... I'll pass on the nice store and rude service for the new circle k down the street. read more

I came to this store August 9th 2018. I live in the area and had no idea this store existed. I discovered Beyond Food Mart while taking a few laps around the lake playing Pokemon GO. It looked nice from the outside, and even more beautiful on the inside. My feet needed a little rest and being distracted by their nice selection of snacks and goodies while also catching Pokemon led me to stay longer than your average shopper. I noticed I wasn't greeted upon entering the store. I got a few looks by an employee and the store owner, but that didn't ring any bell. Few minutes went by while I'm minding my own business catching Pokemon and looking and comparing prices of their items. Everything seemed fine till I was approached by the store owner. I'm good at reading people's body language and I could automatically tell he was angry. He told me to get out of the store and that I was disrespecting him and being suspicious. I told him that this was my first time here and I was simply looking at everything while playing Pokemon GO. By that time, he was in a range and disregarding everything I was saying to try to calm the situation. He then threatened to call the police on me. I told him that he could call and the police will find nothing wrong. Emptied my pockets and small backpack I was carrying to show him I had nothing on my possession except my keys, wallet, phone charger, and phone. The store owner didn't believe me. He kicked me out of the store. I left on my own will. Outside the front door, I took a picture of him for my evidence and safety. Taking pictures in public place is legal. However, this enraged him to the point where he literally cased me into the parking lot. He yelled in my face talking about how I'm disrespecting him even though I was minding my whole business from the start. He was chest to chest with me. I was backing up the whole time, but he was on me. He touched me with one finger and yelled more threats to never come back. I've never had anything like this happen to me before. People take pictures of places all the time for social media, reviews like this, etc. Never knew being on the phone while shopping could lead to such an event. I would never recommend going to this place. Because with that store owner there, something like this could happen to someone else. read more

Tow tracks wait in parking lot to tow cars. $417 to get car back. The sign and chain area blocking the area was torn down. Therefore not visible in area. Tow truck driver's say the owner calls them to tow away cars. read more

Our neighborhood was very apprehensive about a traditional convenience store being installed within feet of homes and schools. But Beyond has been anything but a traditional convenience store. The owner has listened to all of the feedback from nearby residents and worked hard to make Beyond a place for families to gather and enjoy treats on the patio while enjoying the ambiance of the lake. This isn't a convenience store, this is an extension of the awesome community of Harveston. The owner hasn't just come on and put products on the shelves, there is a playroom for kids, coffee machines that are more like Starbucks on a screen, and the owner is an actual nice person. I have high expectations for this community as I'm raising my only daughter here. I'm really glad this store is available to her. We come here once a week to get ice cream together and sit and watch the water.
