I was so excited to see Aldi in California. I first got introduced to Aldi when I was in the Midwest (Michigan). Think of Aldi as Trader Joe's, where they would sell their own goods while at the same time also carry other brands as well. And I personally love to try their brands/products. My favorites are their cashew cookies, which are so heavenly. Yesterday we also got their pecan shortbread cookies, which are a clear copycat of Keebler's and Aldi's really did not disappoint - their pecan shortbread was super buttery! We also love their mini muffins and granola bars. I'll definitely stop by Aldi again before heading back to the San Francisco Bay Area. As for the store itself, this store seem to be very well stocked and the isles were pretty clean, nice and organized. Staff was really nice and friendly as well. Just a reminder, bring a quarter if you plan to use their cart.

Aldi is a great store for fresh produce and other grocery items at discounted prices. Some of my best finds include plant based cheese, brioche rolls , and great tasting cookies. The Benton brand offers a coconut and caramel cookie that mimics the old "samoa"Girl Scout cookies but is way better. I avoid them and only buy them on special occasions or I would be in trouble. There is a nice gift/general item aisle that has cookware, candles, clothing, garden items and other home goods. If you are patient and don't mind browsing, you can find some good deals. The customer service is always good and checking out is easy and quick.

Back home in HI, you're luckily to find 1/2 gallon at this price!

Based on this location to where I live and also the prices I can't ask for anything more. The employees are friendly and helpful. Last week they had a dozen eggs for $.79! Coming from HI it's almost like stealing it! They have many items that are low such as the produce section. Things like strawberries for $1.29 and grape tomatoes for $.99. For me this is my go to and convenient store.

Is this store bigger than the one in Lake Elsinore?

I think there around the same size, maybe a little bigger but close to the same

I was tired of paying for overpriced groceries at vons and Albertsons but now that Aldis opened I said goodbye to both.

This supermarket has such a clean, fresh, and…read morehealthy feel to it, and everything always seems thoughtfully arranged and well maintained. The aisles are spotless, the customer service is consistently great, and the made-to-order juice bar is a fantastic touch that really sets this place apart. That said, it's definitely on the pricey side, so it's more of a treat when the budget allows. The meat selection , especially the steaks it's expensive, but you can clearly tell the quality and freshness are there. Their beer selection is another big plus, especially if you enjoy IPAs and craft beers. Overall, it's a wonderful market with premium products, and I'll absolutely keep coming back whenever my wallet agrees!

Let me set the scene: It's a Tuesday, and I am craving not just sustenance, but an experience. I…read morewalk into Barons Market on Rancho California Rd, and immediately, my olfactory receptors are singing. This isn't just a store; it is a gallery of edible art! From a food science perspective, the curation here is impeccable. I spent a solid ten minutes just admiring the turgidity of the organic Granny Smith apples ($2.99/lb)--crisp, tart, and bursting with malic acid potential. But the real magic? The Hulas coconuts and the bulk bins! There is something deeply primal and satisfying about scooping your own trail mix or pouring shimmering olive oil from a stainless steel fustifermo. The salad and hot bars are a triumph of texture and temperature control. I built a plate that was less a "meal" and more a mosaic of flavors. As I sat there, savoring a bite of their roasted veggies, I thought: This is it. The world is an adventure best tasted in small bites, and Barons provides the perfect map. If you love food that respects its molecular origins and a staff that treats you like a neighbor, you must visit. Very relaxed and casual. It's a maximalist dream of flavor!

Sometimes you just want a certain amount of a product and that is the best way to go. They have a fresh sushi bar! Unfortunately they are always out of spicy tuna so I haven't gotten sushi there in quite a while. If they had spicy tuna on the shelf I'd buy sushi every time I was shopping there. One thing that I like about the produce department is that they have fresh vegetables. They're vegetables are not inexpensive but they're good and I like that they always have eggplant. I never see artichokes there though. Their fruit department has something left to be desired. The only consistent tasting fruits are apples and oranges. Most of the time their offerings of berries and tomatoes are tasteless or old. That being said, this is still the best place to go for most of your groceries. You will save oodles of money if you shop here on a consistent basis. It's awesome that it's an employee owned company! You would think that would give the employees a better attitude but unfortunately there are not that many smiling faces working there. I wonder what goes on behind the scenes with management. All in all, I sure hope WinCo isn't leaving the area anytime soon. No place is perfect and despite some of the issues they have I would be very sad if I couldn't go shopping there anymore.
