Great place to shop for healthy foods. The service was great, and the owner very knowledgeable and committed to healthy products.

Boy, what a disappointing experience we had with the owner this month. First off, my wife usually texts the owner (Pia?) and gives her a list for me to go pick up. Since we live 90 minutes away, that has worked out pretty well for us, until this month. A young lady was filling my order as I entered the store. No problem. It was only about 6 or 7 things if I recall, but two of those items were 2 dozen eggs. Now these eggs are not cheap, and you would think they would take better care handling them, but no. the young lady put them on the bottom of the box, and then continued to fill the rest of the order. I was not paying attention to her packing, so I didn't know they were on the bottom until I got back home. when unpacking, I realized that every single egg was broken. My wife messaged the owner to tell her about it, and asked if we could have some sort of credit for a future order, but never heard anything back. So I waited several days and went ahead and called the store. The owner was "busy" with another customer, so I left a message with another employee for her to call me. She never did, even though she claims to have called and left me a voicemail (which my phone doesn't show the call or voicemail). In discussing this with the owner today, all I got was defensiveness, and she took absolutely ZERO responsibility for this, and NEVER offered any sort of restitution. She just kept saying it wasn't possible for this to happen, even though she wasn't the person who packed the box. My wife and I have spent hundreds of dollars over the past several years ordering from this business, but she wants to lose our business over two lousy dozen eggs? Unbelievable how rude and unempathetic she was on the phone with me, saying only that she was "sorry I felt like the employee" broke the eggs. Just so unacceptable. We will NEVER make the trip up and spend another dime at her store. read more

Really bummed to be writing this review because in all honesty I absolutely live their products and am so grateful for their baby balm. Today, however, I experienced the worst customer service. I usually go in to stock up on baby balm once every quarter or so. My husband also goes into the shop to buy a few other things that we love to use. I went today because we were running low on baby balm and I wanted to stock up again, but I was not greeted with the warm welcoming greeting as usual. Instead, I felt very unwelcome and a bother to whomever was working. I am uncertain if it was because I didn't know her by name or because I don't go in very frequently, but honestly the person that asked me why I was in the store was rude to say the least and definitely wanted me to leave. I'm really bummed and praying I find another baby balm like theirs because I felt so uncomfortable, I don't think I'd want to go back. read more

I've gotten to know her over the years just through stopping by in the shop and chatting and observing. She has a wealth of knowledge and doesn't hesitate to share it for the benefit of the customer. ALL NATUAL GOODIES Natural toothpaste, komucha, protein, spices, oils, butter, honey, mixes, superfoods... Pia, the owner, can give you everything you need to be a perfectly running oiled machine! Tell her about your health and concerns, what your diet is currently like and she will give u the perfect package. She walked us through the whole store and we got in touch with almost every product. She told us what would be fitting for my mom since she's diabetic, has high cholesterol and high blood pressure. She helped me choose products to weight loss and overall health! What is also great is she has a bunch of classes and challenges for you health freaks; cooking and 30 day clean eating! Most items can be sampled* in the store I've been taking ACV (apple cider vinegar) everyday which has helped me maintain my digestive system and lose some weight by suppressing appetite. Pia suggested to try the Raw Coconut Vinegar which is about the same but better and more nutritious! Just like ACV, you can use in on salads too. I also saw this product that read in huge bold letters "100% Pure Coconut Oil MCT" and I remembered how I used to give my Corgi Coconut oil for his problematic skin/hair and digestive system and how it solved everything! I only KNOW this is going to work wonders on me. 100% MCT wow. Worth the $25 a bottle. I can't wait. MCT oil claims to promote healthy digestive system, increases absorption of nutrients from food and supplements, increases brain function, reduce inflammatory and aid in faster recovery, and help with weight loss and weight management. I work out so I expect all these claims to do it's job! There's no taste! Probably going to take it with my vitamins and fish oils everyday :) Another great product I'm excited to use is the Ghee Butter. I got the Madagascar Vanilla Bean flavor. I'm excited to switch out Can't Believe It's Not Butter for this heavenly goodness. It says it's good in coffee, on pancakes and for baking. Lastly, Jem, mmmm. The cashew cardamom almond Butter. She gave us a sample and we loved it. My mom loves her crackers so I'm sure this "Jem" will be in the lunch bag everyday haha I asked Pia how long her store has been open and she said 4 years!!!! I told her it was my first time stumbling across this place and I go to the jewelry store next door all the time! Her exact words were, "you know why??? It's because you weren't ready for all this". I am currently on a very intense diet. No grains, no sugar and no dairy. This place is a godsend!!!!! Pia always greets me with a smile, remembers my name AND my restrictions and shows me things that she knows I can eat. What a great little shop...Pia was so nice and greeted us right away and showed us around. She was very knowledgeable in our medical reasons to be paleo and helped us pick out some great items.... Her prices are a couple dollars less then I have seen in most health food stores so that is nice though I am going to warn you paleo is pricey lifestyle it's just something you are going to have to get use to unless you have a farm of your own... She makes daily lunch boxes that are 100% paleo and for $8 if I remember correctly... She carries essence oils and bone broth and a several other hard to find items like ghee and paleo approved deodorant... I can't say enough good things about Artisan's Palate and their awesome products. Aside from the many "foodie" items that we purchase that are "gluten free," NON GMO content, NO high fructose corn syrup, NO preservatives, the two that I VALUE THE MOST include: 1. the Coconut Bar (I used to eat Mound's bars, even though they weren't healthy) - AWESOME CHOCOLATE AND COCONUT & no bad ingredients - OMG you have to try it...and did I mention the alternative for Reeses peanut butter cups in that same line of chocolate bars?!?!? AND my # 2 new favorite: their deodorant - NO ALUMINUM, etc...ALL natural - "Keep It Real." For YEARS my husband has had issues, itching, etc with EVERY single deodorant he tried - insane. This store is a hidden gem in the big shopping center that houses Hobby Lobby and Kmart. I am impressed at the range of unique and tasty items I find at this store. I could not find these items anywhere else. The store also carries food items recommended by Oprah and other celebrities. My favorite items are the Hog Heaven BBQ sauce, the egg white chips and the Almond Water! It's an ideal place to find one-of-a-kind gifts or even indulge myself with delectable treats! And the best part of it all? The owner, Pia, donates part of the proceeds to support charities. Who doesn't want to support great causes? I highly recommend this shop!
