The food tastes good, although sometimes depending on your preference, a little on the salty side. We have catered from here for parties as well, and got great compliments on the food so it's easy to recommend this place. I've had great experience all around with customer service. The workers look like they just don't want to help. The girls at the cashier ate fine. Its highly unorganized here. Its very dirty and the produce, meats, seafood is not fresh. The fruits and veggies are often spoiled, old, and look compromised. Also, its very expensive here. They sometimes have sales on shrimp but that's all really. I come here to buy packaged things like dry noodles or bottled ingredients. I buy here as a last resort. My greatest peeve about this place is the entrance. You have to walk through the check out line to go into the store. Or you can walk pass or through tables of people eating their disgusting food from Phil house. This place is grossly inefficient in floor layout. Of all grocery stores, this by far is the worst.

This cute little market focuses on Eastern European--especially Russian--food items - it's a great find in Murrieta! The owners are warm, welcoming, and incredibly knowledgeable, and their prices are very reasonable. And then there's the quality--absolutely outstanding. Everything I've tried so far (and I've now visited twice) has been incredible. I highly recommend exploring the meats and cheeses at the counter; the staff is always happy to share details about each selection. Craving something sweet? The honey cake is pure joy. And the RAF coffee? Easily the best coffee in the valley. I'm excited to become a regular here and can't recommend this shop enough. Give it a try--you won't be disappointed.

After grabbing some items for our dinner we decided to shared a carne asada frie and cucumber lime agua fresca. I loved the carne asada fries. It reminded me of something I would make at home. The place was nice and quaint. Habanero salsa was sooo good. All in all and diamond in the rough. Excuse the pictures, they were an after thought and the food was that good. One thing this market lacks that any good Mexican market should have is a tortilleria. They have pre-packaged tortillas from other vendors and the choices are not good. I picked up some tortilla de harina and they were crumbly after warming and tore when folded. The choice of produce is lacking and overall selection of products is poor. They do serve hot food which is why this place earns two stars from me. We got a carnitas burrito and it was pretty good and they also have a salsa bar for your hot food. Unsure if I'll be back since I can get a good burrito closer to home, what I really needed was a decent grocer.

I'm just stating the truth on my recent experience. We texted to place an order and were told the order will be ready. You guys didn't tell us anyone was out of town or food wasn't available. And it's fine that you're out of town, but why not tell us so we didn't waste our time driving. Why tell us food will be ready if there's none? You had the whole day to let us know. Also, I understand when prices have to go up, but am I not allowed to state that & let everyone know in my review? Maybe I worded some things wrong, so let me fix that. I have a picture I posted 5 months ago showing the reciept of the $20 I was charged before vs the $27 now. That's fine, we understand, but just letting people know price went up. And my husband never said to disregard the discount. Maybe there was a misunderstanding, but we will never turn down a discount. As for the cow skin, sorry I mixed that up with fat. I'm not familiar with cow skin. But I've ordered from you guys many times before & always had lots of yummy lean tender meat. I only got 2 small pieces this time and the rest was cow skin. It was still delicious, just bummed I barely got meat. I'm always honest here with my reviews too. --------------------------- Aw I really hate to lower the stars but it's been such a hassle to order from them lately & have had issues. I ordered food and during pick up the guy told my hubby that the cook was out of town & there was no food to pick up. They were just texting each other that whole day to pick up. No warning of anything. We went out of our way on our busy schedules that day so it was a bummer to drive all the way there for no reason. He was very apologetic & promised to give a discount on our next order. So we order again, but then no discount. My husband brought it up & they still charged us full price, which is $27 for fufu & egusi now, when it used to be $20 5 months ago like it shows in my receipt pic below. So I guess they also raised their price. Our order had more fat than meat. So that was an extra bummer too. Sad because I really do enjoy them.

I've had egusi and fufu twice from two different places and this is by far the most delicious ever! I'm eating it at the moment and I'm already planning on my next pick up and to try other dishes. Also, got the beef Pattie the day I ordered, had a little bit of a wait for them to bake but definitely worth it as well! I'm a 5 month pregnant surrogate, so quite honestly I'm really picky but no complaints here the chef is one of a kind! I'll be back really soon!
