Interior -- Deli Case

After two visits, I must say that I'm disappointed in Campini's. It is a small Italian deli and grocery with food "to go" and dine-in. Most of the Italian groceries do not have prices displayed. On out first visit, we ordered a meatball sandwich (3/5 $12.50). The meatballs and sauce were OK, the roll better, and the heavy layer of melted mozzarella overkill. We also tried their Proscuitto Shooters (4/5 $5 for two shooters) and Pignoli Cookies (3/5 $46.99/lb). Both overpriced. They have a few tables in the store, which are tight, surrounded by customers waiting to order and pay. Outside, there are two picnic tables flanking the entrance. The side of the building has a few more outdoor tables, but they are only accessible on weekends. No restrooms. Parking close to Campini in the shared lot is rather limited. *** Our second visit was to pick up a speciality cheese from Italy: Aurrichio Sharp Provolone Cheese. We had called around, and Campani had Aurrichio at very good prices: ball ($14.95/lb) and wedges ($17.50/lb). This time, the cashier who served us was seemingly unfamiliar with their cheeses.

All the good stuff!

Campini's Italian Deli is an absolute gem. Everything about this place is incredible. Staff is friendly! We love their sandwiches. The bread is perfect and truly makes the sandwich. Their pasta salad is hands down the best I have ever had. The mix of pasta, meats, and cheese is unreal. You really cannot go wrong. And the cannolis are to die for. Both the mini cannolis and the traditional ones are amazing. Grab an extra and take it home to enjoy with your morning coffee the next day. Thank me later. They have so many options, it is hard to choose. I especially love the wide selection of frozen pastas and pasta sauces you can take home, plus all the Italian cookies you could ever want. I am so happy I found my new go to market for Italian goodies that I normally had to drive to San Diego for. Campini's is officially a favorite

Just wow! If you're looking for a good Italian deli, I highly recommend trying Campini's you won't be disappointed. They even had authentic Italian drinks, and I was so happy to have an Aranciata di Sicilia with my Campini's Special with mozzarella. Quick and great service 10/10 recommend. The place had a great Italian ambiance!

A Little Slice of Italy in Temecula--Minus the Plane Ticket! Campini's Fine Italian Deli is the closest you'll get to Italy without accidentally overpacking and arguing with TSA. The moment you walk in, that incredible "Grandma's-been-cooking-all-day" aroma hits you like a warm hug from a nonna who insists you're too skinny. The panini? Out. Of. This. World. I'm convinced there's some kind of delicious sorcery happening in that kitchen. Their lineup of Italian sandwiches, cheeses, pastries, pasta, lasagna--basically everything you'd need for a proper carb-loaded life--is unreal. They've even got wines and beers to make your meal feel fancy, and soft drinks for those of us pretending we're being "good." Seating inside is small but cozy, and if you need more elbow room to battle your sandwich, they've got outdoor picnic tables ready to go. Special orders and catering trays are available too--perfect for feeding a family, an office, or your inner food gremlin. The staff is wonderful: patient, friendly, and happy to explain anything on the menu without judging how much you're drooling. If you want authentic Italian flavor, amazing service, and a guaranteed good mood, Campini's is your new happy place. Buon appetito!

Pasta Salad (1/2 Pint) Antipasto Salad

Another yummy visit to my favorite deli! Ordered the cold turkey sandwich with a side of antipasto salad, it was wonderfully delicious! The bread is soft and fresh while the fillings (meat, cheese & veggies) are cold and tasty. Customer service is always good and they have plenty of seating. And don't forget to enjoy their shop inside before you leave. Patio is nice, quiet with a little breeze, quite peaceful. Stop by & grab a sandwich, pasta and goodies for home!

I usually get sandwiches here before I check in at the hotel nearby. My usuals are the Campini special ($12.50) or the Italian special ($12.50) to share with my mom. The Campini has the capocollo, prosciutto, and genoa salami with shredded lettuce, tomatoes, onions, cheese with Italian dressing. The Italian has mortadella, cotto salami, and genoa salami with the same toppings. The bread is soft and chewy. They do catering as well. The place is packed with Italian desserts and charcuterie ingredients, few tables inside and a few outside near the entrance. They recommend to order online since the lines they have in store can get long and the space is tiny inside. The staff is nice. Closed Sundays.

I stopped in on 4/12/25 while I was waiting for my windshield replacement at Faith Auto Glads next door. I popped in around 10:30am and ordered the chicken parm sandwich and a pint of their caprese salad. It took a bit for the sandwich to be made but the good thing about that is, the ingredients are all fresh! It tasted delicious and it was huge. It is a little pricy but I would say it is definitely worth it. The feel of the whole place is fun too, everyone seems friendly and there is so much food to look at and buy. I'd definitely stop in again.

Full tray of chicken parmigiana (sauce on side)--does this look like it's worth $160?
Joan F.

Would you pay $160+ for a full tray of chicken parmigiana? When you tell a customer it feeds 15-20 people, there should be more chicken to feed that amount of people (pasta and 1 loaf of garlic bread don't count). Sad and disappointed.

Came to try this Italian deli shop after it was recommended by our chiropractor at Deforest Chiropractic. They talked about their delicious delis and cannolis. Well, I tried their chicken parm sandwich and my wife tried the Italian sub. They were delicious. We also got their potato salad and antipasto salad, and they were delicious. We took the cannolis to go and will try them at home. Definitely, give this place a try. Times are hard right now and businesses are trying to stay afloat. We also loved that they have other food and other things to buy. The ambiance definitely feels like you're at a deli in Italy. Kiddos to the owners and their staff for working hard to maintain this place friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be back! P.S. And we also took cookies and wafers for later too :) buon appetito!

Services is very good food is okay. They have changed their menu around a lot. So they don't offer a Margarita Pizza. Anymore, you have to build your own Pizza. But I guess it is what it is. I probably will not be returning it

Tucked away in a small strip mall in Old Town Temecula, this deli was such a great find! I ordered…read morethe kids pepperoni pizza for my daughter, which tasted homemade and was incredibly fresh and flavorful. The Italian sub on a baguette was outstanding -- the bread was perfectly soft and the quality of the ingredients really stood out. I also tried the homemade potato salad, which was light, airy, and had the perfect dill flavor. The service was wonderful, and although the restaurant is small, there was plenty of seating and it felt very welcoming. Everything tasted fresh and high quality. I will definitely be back next time I am in the area!

Absolutely ridiculous!…read more Ridiculously GOOD! I almost don't want to tell any of you about this spot. I want to keep it a secret so I don't have to battle a crowd. The bread for my sandwich...ugh...you don't even know and can't imagine the perfection it was. I tasted my husband's sandwich and I'm still not sure if his was better or not, they were both SOOOO good. Don't get me started on the chocolate chip cookie. The plan was to break off a bite and give the remaining cookie to my kid after school. That was my wholesome, calorie-conscious thought before that 1st bite. I broke off a piece and you know what...Screw 'dem kids! That cookie was all mine! I can't wait to go back! GiGi, the owner, was awesome, fun, and personable. I love the mom-and-pop shop vibe with an artisan flare. Ohhh...speaking of "artisan", they have more than just sandwiches. I didn't try the pizza, but just looking at the unique topping options, I know it won't be long before I do!

Just as good as I remember!…read more We used to go to the Temecula location until they closed up the shop. Today I went to Murrieta to look in the meat a frozen cases and order two sandwiches. Before I get to reviewing the sandwiches I want to mention the great stuff I saw at the meat counter that I will definitely come back for! They had chorizo, pork breakfast sausage, Hungarian pork sausage, two kinds of brats and more. Nice organic chickens, bone in skin on chicken thighs, and herb marinated half chickens. Their chickens are smaller than what they sell at supermarkets which tell me they are younger and more tender. The steaks....ohhhh the steaks! Wagu, Prime grade, rib-eyes, New York Strips, big shrimps, fish, etc. In the other cold case there was Duck, and other Duck related products, plus so much more I can't remember them all! They are a busy place at lunchtime and I didn't mind waiting. We had a turkey and bacon hot sandwich and a BLT. Outstanding on both! My wife's only suggestion that the turkey needed more chipotle aioli, it was a bit dry.

I was the top guy and worked at the outhouse and the penthouse, meaning I worked in financially stable and unstable departments. With all that said, I saw plenty of problems at this location. Starting off, they are way overpriced. Unless the owners gross profit percentage is 50% or more, should definitely be embarrassed pushing low marbled over priced products. Also, questioning the rotation and shelf life on the product. Quality; putting a first cut, wedge cut that was barely scraped in your counter is embarrassing. Anyone that knows anything about cutting or displaying would walk out, which I did. Displays are amateur at best, no quality or finesse. I would recommend avoiding this place until they learn the business.
