Sometimes I want to have a sandwich like the one's I make at home, but I don't want to buy everything to make it, or I'm on the go working. I don't really like the big sandwich chains all that much because the quality seems to be lacking. We found this place, saw the reviews, & decided to give it a shot! My husband got a turkey sandwich, and I had the Willy B.L.A.T. ( I thinkkkk that was the name) The Willy is so good ( hey! Mind outta the gutter!) Seriously though. Simple. Delicious. Fast.

Excellent sandwiches, super friendly staff. Found this place while golfing in Temecula and loved everything about it. It was super clean, the sandwiches were huge and the owner Ronny is a great guy and made us feel at home which is great especially during these crazy times. I pay attention to how restaurants treat people and handle business and food preparation and Happy Belly Deli and their staff was outstanding! I highly recommend it.

I saw a sign for this place at the Saturday farmers market and decided to try something new. The service here is excellent! When I walked in and mentioned it was my first time in I was given a nice run down of the menu and the place overall. I got the simple sammie as a wrap and it was delicious. On our way back from the farmers market, we stumbled upon The Happy Belly Deli (a mom and pop sandwich shop). Friendly owners, great customer service rapport and the sandwich was one of the best we've had in a very long time. We chose to split the Happy Italian sandwich (salami, pepperoni, hot capicola, mortadella, black olives, provolone, dijonaise, happy sauce, arugula, pickle chips, roasted red peppers, and pepperocini on a hoagie bun) with a side of homemade potato salad. Saw the sign on the corner in Old Town, checked out their website and decided to give them a try. Who doesn't like a good sandwich? This sandwich was really good! Typical meats for an 'Italian' sandwich (I love mortadella), but not your typical veggies, which I liked for a change. No lettuce and tomato, but arugula and roasted red peppers instead. That was/is a nice switch! When trying a new place I will typically get something on the menu with no alterations so I can judge how the food is, as prepared, as I can always tweak it later. Although I did add onion to this. I found this sandwich to be excellent with a nice amount of meat and perfect blend of veggies and sauce. Will definitely go there again! read more

In August of 2021 my fiancé in I stopped in this establishment for lunch after touring wedding venues. My fiancé and I both ordered turkey sandwiches. The female owner of the deli recommended my fiancé not order turkey because of some ingredient. After being puzzled and inquiring why the female owner stated "because you are pregnant." Both of our jaws dropped to the floor. My fiancé is not pregnant. She is a very fit 25 year old. This has never happened to us and is completely inappropriate. The owner then, to our amazement, followed up her train of thought with "well it's because you are glowing and I thought I saw a bump." I do not recommend anyone eating at this establishment owned by someone who could act so rude. She didn't offer an apology or anything. read more

So happy to have found this spot. I love being able to order online and have the option to pay in person when I pick up too, no surprise online fees and easy to add something when we arrive. The shop is in old town, easy parking, outdoor tables, and the friendliness I love in a mom and pop shop. We ordered gluten free bread for our sandwiches and the staff was excited to tell us about the process of finding the perfect gluten free bread. So many sandwich shops have a mediocre gf option but having a shop understand the value of finding that quality is special too. Our sandwiches were tasty and exactly what we were craving. Absolutely always go above and beyond! Everyone is always so friendly and ready to have an awesome engaging conversation with costumers. I've been here a few times now, getting a different sandwich each time and they are all DELICIOUS! I'm impressed with everything I've eaten so far. Today I asked for 2 sandwiches but asked if they could be cut into tiny triangles like tea sandwiches, I brought them to a girls mani/pedi day and it was PERFECT! I'm so happy they could cut them that small for me. And the sandwiches were so delicious! My favorite so far is the curry chicken salad, but I can't wait to try even more items from the menu! read more

I recently moved to Temecula and have been looking for "my sandwich shop". I've tried a few of what Yelp lists as the best and haven't been very impressed. Today, I was walking around the old town farmers market and got hungry but noticed a standing banner on the corner of the road that read "sandwiches". I figured I may as well give it a shot. I walked up to the store front and noticed the sign read "a mom and pop sandwich shop"- that couldn't have been more true. As I entered the store the owners children are in there playing on their iPads in the corner while mom and dad and running their store. I loved this aspect! It truly made me feel that I was at a local, family owned and operated shop. The best part? The sandwiches were great too! I got one of their hot sandwiches and have now found "my sandwich shop". The employees, owners, and children were so nice and welcoming. Not only were they great, but the food was too. This is my first review ever but knew they deserved it. You guys rock! read more

I work in Old Town and always say we need a good sandwich shop. Good news, its here! I tried Happy Belly for the first time and will definitely be back. Pesto Chicken was legit and the beans were a great addition. Customer service was great, very welcoming and helpful. It was nice to get quick healthy food on my lunch break. Had the caprese sandwich and added the pesto aiolui and OMG the flavor was amazing!!! The bread is seriously so dang soft. And we ordered online and it was ready when we got there, which was convenient. We talked to the owner Ronnie for a few minutes. Really nice guy and good customer service. Fantastic sandwiches!!! Tried 3 so far and can't pick a favorite yet. All were as good as the next. Good size and stuffed with meat. They do have tables set up outside so you can eat there. Most sandwiches are 8.95 to 9.95 and are a great valve. read more

To my surprise, their house-made sandwiches are served on freshly baked bread, made with fresh ingredients, and cost under $10 (Panera could never!!!). Their baked goods were also reasonably priced with generous portions. We picked up the Cinnamon Burst Bread, a cinnamon roll, a honey bran muffin (which completely stole the show for me; it was incredibly moist and I'd come back just for that) and an almond poppy seed scone. The service here was just as impressive. Everyone was so friendly and personable and you could tell they genuinely enjoyed being there. I also loved their "Giving Rack," where anyone in need can take free baked goods. It's such a thoughtful idea and says a lot about the kind of business they are. This is easily one of my favorite bakery finds and it'll definitely be a regular stop whenever I'm back in the area.

We picked up the Cinnamon Burst Bread, a cinnamon roll, a honey bran muffin (which completely stole the show for me; it was incredibly moist and I'd come back just for that) and an almond poppy seed scone. The service here was just as impressive. Everyone was so friendly and personable and you could tell they genuinely enjoyed being there. I also loved their "Giving Rack," where anyone in need can take free baked goods. It's such a thoughtful idea and says a lot about the kind of business they are. This is easily one of my favorite bakery finds and it'll definitely be a regular stop whenever I'm back in the area.

Just as good as I remember!…read more We used to go to the Temecula location until they closed up the shop. Today I went to Murrieta to look in the meat a frozen cases and order two sandwiches. Before I get to reviewing the sandwiches I want to mention the great stuff I saw at the meat counter that I will definitely come back for! They had chorizo, pork breakfast sausage, Hungarian pork sausage, two kinds of brats and more. Nice organic chickens, bone in skin on chicken thighs, and herb marinated half chickens. Their chickens are smaller than what they sell at supermarkets which tell me they are younger and more tender. The steaks....ohhhh the steaks! Wagu, Prime grade, rib-eyes, New York Strips, big shrimps, fish, etc. In the other cold case there was Duck, and other Duck related products, plus so much more I can't remember them all! They are a busy place at lunchtime and I didn't mind waiting. We had a turkey and bacon hot sandwich and a BLT. Outstanding on both! My wife's only suggestion that the turkey needed more chipotle aioli, it was a bit dry.

Starting off, they are way overpriced. Unless the owners gross profit percentage is 50% or more, should definitely be embarrassed pushing low marbled over priced products. Also, questioning the rotation and shelf life on the product. Quality; putting a first cut, wedge cut that was barely scraped in your counter is embarrassing. Anyone that knows anything about cutting or displaying would walk out, which I did. Displays are amateur at best, no quality or finesse. I would recommend avoiding this place until they learn the business.

It's an up-and-coming sandwich shop, and for good reason: handmade loaded sandwiches for $7.99 is an absolute steal in today's economy. There's only one worker so it can take a while if there are people waiting in line, but the wait is definitely worth it. Both the Simply Italian, GRB w/ AVO sandwiches are 5/5; the sandwiches are made-to-order with freshly cut ciabatta bread, thinly sliced meat, and veggies. Their quesadilla was also amazing too, and much bigger than what you would get from Taco Bell. Overall Bocadillo Kitchen was fantastic and it deserves the traction its getting from social media. The GRB was very tasty and the soy sauce dressing on the side made a good sandwich that much better. The trio was tasty as well. Since we had it delivered, I never saw the ambiance ( but the gas station looks nice inside!) if I'm in Lake Elsinore I now know of a good local sandwich joint to eat lunch at!!
