The staff were soooo polite and accommodating, they made us feel like we were family dining in their home. The plates were some of the Mediterranean/Middle Eastern food we have eaten. The portions were giant, but the quality was very high. We were given all the sauces to try -- garlic, tzatziki, spicy -- and I enjoyed all of them. I always choose sweet potato for the Monte Cristo, it's the best option. But I'll have to try the onion rings some time. There are tons of breakfast and lunch options, since they're only open til 2:00 everyday. They are also known for their bakery. Cinnamon or pecan rolls that are the size of a dinner plate! You have to slice them like a loaf of bread, lol. Also available are cookies, croissants, etc. Everything I've tried has been delicious. Staff is friendly and efficient, event when they're busy. My recent visit was at noon on a Wednesday, and I was all done in under 45 minutes! And the restaurant was pretty full, since it's only the one large room. Decor is fun, in the old-timey "why did grandma collect all this stuff?" motif, lol. Comfy booths around the perimeter with tables inside and a counter back left. And parking is fairly easy in the small shopping center, but you may have to park a little ways away if they're particularly busy.

It was our first visit, arriving just as they opened, and having the whole romantic, classy speakeasy all to ourselves, our server Megan, made us feel right at home. Ensuring we received a little history about the establishment, the day's specials, and what some of their customers' favorites. To begin the experience, we received complimentary glasses of sparkling wine in celebration of their one-year anniversary, which was a nice touch. After a brief moment, we settled on sausage and three-cheese skillet appetizers with a house baguette. The two dishes arrived piping hot, gooey, and enticing! Amazingly delicious to say the least!
