So I drove across from that plaza to this one which is right next to LOS TACOS and the CHASE BANK on Temecula Parkway... We've always loved submarina. Today, not so much. The young man who helped us was nice enough, but when it comes to sanitation things were lacking. It was pretty slow, only one other customer. So a messy sandwich board shouldn't happen and the filthy towel didn't help. Them when there was a condiment spill, the same spreader was used to clean that up and used directly on my sandwich. I tried not to be too picky until we got home and started eating. The bread was really stale. I get that inflation and shrink-flation are a thing but we got nailed with both today. 35 bucks for two sandwiches that didn't have much meat to speak of is getting out of hand. It's going to be a long time before we consider submarina again. read more

Submarina's ingredients are really very good, they have their own signature flavor the way some chain sandwich shops do. However, the execution on this one was lacking. Cheap on the proteins, like one slice of each meat. Not super impressive. The Flavor is still there tho so it has potential. Please improve on execution, or you're not doing your great ingredients justice. read more

The sandwich was really good but the service however wasn't all that. The girl making my sandwich acted inconvenienced when I told her my order. I had a couple sandwiches made and I didn't want her to have to get the meat back out after making a similar one so I told her what one of the other sandwiches was gonna be. And she just got an attitude about it saying "Well I'm gonna focus on this one for now!" I was just trying to help her out and make her job easier. The entire time she acted like she hated me or something. The rest of the visit the employees acted like they hated their jobs. To be fair I had like four sandwiches in my order and maybe it could have just been she was having a long day but in my book that doesn't excuse rude customer service. I have no tolerance or expectance for that behavior. Like I said the food was good and maybe it was just an off day so I would be willing to go back again and give it another shot.
