Bread choices are on point! Not your standard white or wheats. They have French rolls, squaw, marble rye, sourdough and more! They do have a gluten free tortilla option which is a huge bonus!! I got the Benny special : Mortadella, Capocollo, Salami, and pepperoni with all the toppings. Btw I added the pesto mayo. It was DELICIOUS! My wife for the chicken avocado. Also so good!!! I love that you can choose other options like beef jerky and trail mix instead of chips as your only option. Solid restaurant. We will 100% be back!!

This trip was not the Benny's I've always been accustomed to. The bread was almost stale, which is one of Benny's biggest item that sets them apart. The issue was the drink for our combos. They were completely out of all fountain drinks. When I told the girl at the counter, her response was, "I know, we got a machine?" Instead of holding everyone else up in the line, we just left and took the crappy drinks. I truly hope this is not the beginning of the end.

Just as good as I remember!…read more We used to go to the Temecula location until they closed up the shop. Today I went to Murrieta to look in the meat a frozen cases and order two sandwiches. Before I get to reviewing the sandwiches I want to mention the great stuff I saw at the meat counter that I will definitely come back for! They had chorizo, pork breakfast sausage, Hungarian pork sausage, two kinds of brats and more. Nice organic chickens, bone in skin on chicken thighs, and herb marinated half chickens. Their chickens are smaller than what they sell at supermarkets which tell me they are younger and more tender. The steaks....ohhhh the steaks! Wagu, Prime grade, rib-eyes, New York Strips, big shrimps, fish, etc. In the other cold case there was Duck, and other Duck related products, plus so much more I can't remember them all! They are a busy place at lunchtime and I didn't mind waiting. We had a turkey and bacon hot sandwich and a BLT. Outstanding on both! My wife's only suggestion that the turkey needed more chipotle aioli, it was a bit dry.

I was the top guy and worked at the outhouse and the penthouse, meaning I worked in financially stable and unstable departments. With all that said, I saw plenty of problems at this location. Starting off, they are way overpriced. Unless the owners gross profit percentage is 50% or more, should definitely be embarrassed pushing low marbled over priced products. Also, questioning the rotation and shelf life on the product. Quality; putting a first cut, wedge cut that was barely scraped in your counter is embarrassing. Anyone that knows anything about cutting or displaying would walk out, which I did. Displays are amateur at best, no quality or finesse. I would recommend avoiding this place until they learn the business.

Our daughter, son-in-law, grandson, my husband and I came for another divine dining experience. We were seated right away as it wasn't too crowded. We noticed they rearranged the tables and seating. It's still so cozy and pristine with low lighting giving off an intimate vibe. The food was amazing as usual and it came out quickly! Never a bad meal here. Unfortunately, one star off for the service. We have come to expect the high caliber of service offered from Robin & Francesca from past visits. Our server Jessica was nice enough but not very attentive. We had to keep asking for our drinks to be refilled although it was very obvious that our glasses were empty. And there weren't a lot of people there. So our server really missed the mark. Thankfully, the food is consistently outstanding and mediocre service won't dissuade us from returning.

Cheesesteak Plot Twist & Giant Wings: A Culinary Soap Opera, haha!!…read more I've been side-eyeing this spot every time I make my noble pilgrimage to Walmart (because who doesn't need 38 rolls of paper towels and a kayak at 3 p.m. on a Tuesday?). Today, curiosity and hunger finally won. I went in expecting a Philly Cheesesteak experience straight outta Philly. Instead, I got... a garden surprise. Lettuce and tomato on my cheesesteak? A sandwich identity crisis! Was it a sub? Was it a salad? I didn't know how to feel, but oddly enough, i liked it!! Like putting ranch on pizza. Weird, but kinda genius! Then came the buffalo wings. Cue angelic choir. These wings were massive!! Like, 'was this a small turkey' type of massive!!! Juicy, flavorful, spicy enough to make you sweat politely. Strawberry lemonade was delish and refreshing!! Staff was super friendly... like, 'we don't judge your Walmart outfit' type of friendly. Overall? Great vibes. Still scratching my head over the low reviews. Either I caught them on a magic day or people just don't understand sandwich innovation. Would definitely go back. Probably wouldn't order a Philly Cheesesteak with a side salad on top again (ill ask for it without lettuce & tomato). But those wings? I'd fight a raccoon for em!!

But if you're starving and really need something to eat or a fountain drink, this is your only option here at Walmart. If you needed a sandwich then the old school cheesesteak is ok coming with double meat cheese and grilled onions. The fries were super light and crispy so that was good. I'd stay away from the chicken, it tasted like it had been frozen for 2 years and thrown on the grill real quick.

Instead, I spent over $50 on two chicken cheesesteaks, cold fries, two fountain drinks, and donut holes -- and it was an absolute disaster. Let's start with the bread. It tasted like someone washed it, then smashed it and said, "Cook it up!" It was flat, soggy, and had none of the fresh, soft texture you'd expect from a real sandwich bun. The chicken cheesesteaks weren't even close to what was advertised. The cheese was melted terribly -- like a 4th grader's science project -- and the chicken had zero seasoning, with little to none on the bread. This was *not* the flavorful sandwich I was promised. The fries were cold, the donut holes were whatever because they lacked sugar, and the fountain drinks were the only part of this that weren't a letdown. But honestly, $50 for this? I could've gotten better food for half the price. I wanted to give this place a shot, but now I know better. Pardon My Cheesesteak clearly doesn't care about quality, and I'm definitely not coming back. Save your money and find something better.

This 12-Inch Toasted Beast Just Executed My Sad Spinach & Nut Butter Smoothie Diet -- And I'm Not…read moreEven Pressing Charges Temecula, I rolled in a starving 6'4" disaster who's been choking down spinach-and-nut-butter smoothies like a hostage for weeks. Rockin' Jay's looked at my weak soul and said "bet" -- then saved it in the best way possible. Counter girl hit me with a smile so bright I almost reached for sunglasses. The entire all-female crew was straight beast-mode at the open sandwich bar, slinging subs like they were on a mission from the sandwich gods. Atmosphere? Spacious as hell, proper New York deli that moonlights as a 70s rock dive -- screaming reds and greens, green booths, wooden tables, tiled floors, the whole retro package you see in the pics. The playlist was gloriously all over the place in the best way -- Contemporary Christian one minute, 2019 pop bangers the next, basically spanning six decades of straight fire. "Listen to your heart" came on and I damn near did while they built my baby. Every single pick was gold though. I ordered the 12" Capicola & Provolone ($16.69). I yelled "the works -- no mustard, drown me in onions and olives." They dropped an absolute beast of a sandwich... and it came perfectly toasted straight out the gate the way it should be. No sad "can you toast this?" negotiation. Golden, crunchy bread that cracks like it owes you money. Meat stacked stupid high, provolone doing its melty thing, then they buried the whole thing under an avalanche of fresh, snapping shredded lettuce and threw in those glossy peppers on the side like a mic drop. This thing is ridiculously messy -- oil dripping, lettuce flying, pure delicious chaos in every bite. Pro tip: there's no napkin dispenser at the tables, so you gotta go full scavenger hunt by the self-serve soda machine to grab your own stack. Worth every greasy finger and napkin raid. It fed this giant for two meals and left me still full, slightly greasy, and weirdly emotional. My spinach smoothie PTSD? Cured. If your diet has been as depressing as mine, stop torturing yourself and drag your weak ass here immediately. Friendly as can be, killer vibe, and subs that actually deliver. Tell 'em the tall smoothie refugee sent you. I'm claiming a booth next week and bringing stretchy pants... and maybe my own napkin stash.
