I gave it a solid try- ordered the feta home fries, fried Zucchini , market burger and chicken bowl. Feta home fries had good flavor but the fries were very hard. Fried zucchini with ranch helped keep us eating- the burger wasn't what we expected after seeing it on a IG story. Frozen patty and the cheese was $extra (shredded cheese as it wasn't melted at all). Chicken bowl lacked flavor and very generic taste. Ate half of everything. Service was ok - kitchen was dark which creeped us out. It's uncomfortably HOT, fans blowing hot air, and the latest he placed some sort of a swamp cooler indoors which makes it humid. Came Monday for the first time and had avocado toast. I left another review for that. It was delicious. I came back tonight for dinner and it was equally delicious. Deducting one star because the service was slow. We waited at the counter about five minutes before we saw anyone besides the cook. He could have said "hello, we'll be right with you." He pretended he didn't see us. There was nobody else in the restaurant. Other than that, the service was friendly and the food was really good. It's a large portion. Stopped by Old Market Grill, after an appointment we had in the area. It was our first time here and I'm glad we stopped! My kiddo liked the acronym "OMG" and that's the reason he wanted to stop. We had a split order, some food to dine in and the rest of the order to take home and Elena accommodated our request happily. My son ordered the spinach and feta omelette. I had the B.L.A.T. My son could not stop raving about his omelette. He said it tasted delicious and fresh! He says he's had omelettes at other places, but nothing compared to this. I loved my sandwich, its was tasty and just what I needed. For her to go order the order French toast, an egg and cheese burrito and a turkey avocado sandwich and our family loved all of it! Chris came out to greet us and asked us how our meals were and we let him know everything was perfect and how much we enjoyed it! Service and food was excellent! I don't know why I waited so long to try this place.....we had a party of 6 and each and every person was delighted with their meal and the woman who takes your order and brings your food out is just the sweetest. I used to really like coming here but more recently the prices have gone up but the quality has gone way down hill. This last time we went and ordered chicken skewer plate, feta fries add gyro meat, gyro plate, OMG Burger add cheese and a Greek salad add chicken. Where to start with the food....the feta fries let's start there. First the fries alone are $9 for potato chips with feta and Greek dressing, add another $8 for the gyro meat and you think it's a good meal,...no. The portion of meat was so small you might as well not have ordered any at all. There was no Greek dressing on the fries at all so they were dry with dry feta. Not at all the quality they used to be. The chicken skewer ate was supposed to come with a lemon sauce on the chicken. We received burnt chicken pieces dry as the desert with soggy rice and watery tzatziki. The gyro plate was the exact same....awful meat portion, dry with no dressing, watery tzatziki and soggy rice. Seriously no flavor...for $22 each on those plates....that was seriously disappointing. The Greek salad came with balsamic vinaigrette even tho we requested Greek dressing and the vinaigrette was so sour from straight vinegar it ruined the salad. The burger was small...like McDonald's cheese burger size....nothing exceptional or worth coming back for. All in all the dinner was well over $90 for mediocre soggy dry burnt just not worth even a fraction of what we paid. Seriously disappointed. Oh and that price wasn't for meals with a drink that was just the main...the burger no drink or side, salad no side or drink....overpriced and not worth it. Would not recommend and will not be returning. Quality is just not worth the price. There are way better options in the same shopping center that are cheaper and better quality. read more

saw someone else with a burrito from here and it looked so delicious i had to try myself. i ordered the farmer breakfast burrito with added bacon and spinach. it was a little pricey at $17 but it was pretty big. my husband and i split it and the salsa that came with it was a perfect addition. the girl at the window was friendly and our order was done pretty fast (less than 10 minutes). it was so fresh and delicious !! read more

Really rude staff. Went in there to pick up my order and they lie online and said the kids meal comes with a drink and Everytime j have gone here the past few months it always comes with a drink. They were rude to me in front of other customers and didn't honor what their site says. I will never come here again and too bad because we order once a week and now they lost my service fully. They all looked at me with a blank stare and were super rude about it. I don't like being embarrassed in front of other clients. They should also close the doors more often because the place had flies always flying around which is gross because flies barf on food. FYI. Lost my business for life. Diner redemption! The backstory to this comment is that the hubby and I had an adverse experience at a diner the prior evening. We yelped places in the general area and found Old Market Grill aka OMG. They do have signage that says "OMG." Love the Greek or Mediterranean options. For brunch, I had the veggie bowl w/bell peppers, red onions, potatoes, mushrooms, and more over rice and little pita bread. Always liking the yogurt sauce! Hubby was pleased with the gyro (his favorite and go-to). Also came w/house potatoes, and orange juice. I was also good with their decaf Very nice, efficient and courteous service. The cashier/food server shared w/us out-of-towners that she is from Buena Park and her sister lived in my mom's area for 30 years. Resto is super clean and they also sell Greek desserts and items in the front. If in the Wildomar/Murrieta area again, we'd very likely enjoy a meal and great service again! I finally used their drive through service for dinner. We ordered Greek salad and Cobb salad, both with grilled chicken; Greek chicken wrap; Chipotle steak wrap; and zucchini fries. I have been coming to OMG consistently for a couple of years. I always ordered my favorite, the chipotle steak pita. It pains me to say that the past 2-3 times I've come, the steak has been full of gristle. I've had to spit out every other bite. Hopefully this review will spur the owners to go back to their better quality beef in the future. Also, I never have been able to go during the summer since their a/c is very iffy. I don't know if they changed ownership or what. But their fried zucchini used to be my favorite thing ever. Now it's glorified carls junior fried zucchini. They used to be big, thick, crispy, and juicy. They are now thin, mushy, and weirdly seasoned. I've noticed a massive downgrade in their quality. Their fries are borderline chips. With us frequenting Old Market Grill since it's opening, always being pleased with their food and service, we did want to return after just one, not-so-good meal - we did. Trying our favorites again, Feta Fries with Steak, Tzatziki dip, and Lamb and Beef Gyros, we were not disappointed - everything tasted amazing and was a continuance of many years of great mealtime enjoyment. I've always been a huge fan of Old Market Grill. The food is great and the staff is polite and the restaurant is clean. The other day I went by and only ordered a turkey burger with a side salad. The cashier made polite conversation while I waited for my order. The only thing that bothered me is that my receipt didn't look correct for what I ordered. I did go back a couple of days later to see if it would happen again and it didn't. I'll be sure to check my receipt before leaving the establishment next time to make sure I was charged correctly. read more
