I prefer it less char but, if you like the extra crunch then it's for you. The fries got SOGGY fast so PRO TIP is to keep the lid open. The Portion seemed a bit smaller than the Temecula location... SALAD: 7/10 The fish and chips came with a side salad and the salad was not as fresh as the one at the Temecula location. The salad at the Temecula location was submerged in ice and remained crisp for hours... SAUCES: 7/10 The tartar and honey mustard sauce were both a bit on the watery side compared to the thick sauce you get at the Temecula location... The portions were pretty large here, not so sure about the quality. We ordered their famous pastrami sandwich, grilled chicken club, fries and a drink. The pastrami was bigger than I was expecting, and it was stacked with meat, but it was super salty. My sandwich was nice and hot, but our food came out after only a few minutes and we questioned the freshness. The fries were bland, and the chicken club was smaller than expected and not seasoned. Always a good lunch spot for the family. It's official, my son announced that the patty melt here is the best (so I'll say Riverside County). Ordered the fish and chips today I I was not disappointed. I was only able to finish 3 of the 5 pieces of fish, and only made a dent in the fries. They also toss onion rings in the mix and give you a side salad, which is pretty much a full size salad. The food selection is always great and U love that breakfast is served all day. Lol An old friend posted them, so when I asked where he got them from, he told me it was at some burger joint an hour away. *sigh* Yelp saved the day once again! I loooove shrooms, so I looked it up and found that Siggys has them. I ran errands one day and remembered to stop by the drive thru after an appointment. There was only 1 car ahead of me, and I was in and out in a matter of minutes. They come with ranch, which I love, even with fried zucchini! I haven't tried anything else, but I probably will sooner or later. Might dine in next time so I can tell you about the ambiance inside. Review summary = Price, Patriotism, and Quality. I have a fair understanding of Siggy's Murrieta, my family has frequented this location, from time to time, for over two decades. Price - I cannot necessarily complain about just this location for the much higher prices. However, our "standard meal" that used to cost $35, totaled $50 yesterday. With understanding, all prices for all food and retail establishments have risen due to the current conditions of our nation. Quality - the pastrami sandwich was still good but not the, once "great" it used to be; the fried mushrooms were over greasy and just pieces, compared to the perfectly fried and crispy full sized former versions. Patriotism - I saved this one for last, as it is the most important to me and yet, has nothing to do with food, pricing, or quality. The large American flag flown outside of the restaurant used to be to be proudly displayed and in good condition. For the past few times we have either frequented this location or driven by, we have noticed a disgraceful display of our great nation's symbol. The flown flag resembles one that should have been properly and respectfully retired many many months ago. Months ago, I made mention of this to one of the employees. When I drove to the window, I asked the server to cut my burger in half and she said " it's already done, and was confused" I even handed her a $1.00, to cut it. She was still confused and sent another server to the window to help me. So weird! Anyway, the good thing about the visit was that the food was hot ! The burger itself was not the best.
