HORRIBLEY OVERPRICED BBQ!!!! This place has a lot of potential, but they are poorly managed and just HORRIBLEY OVERPRICED!!!! They charged us nearly $25 dollars for an 11-oz bowl of brisket Mac & cheese at the Bite of Seattle and didn't take our name or give us a number. They just told us to go over to the side and wait with a group of about 20 other people, which then quickly became about 30 people, all waiting for food. When they had food items ready, they just yelled out, " who had (insert food item here) and then it was a free for all as to who could grab the food first regardless of how long they had been waiting. Ypu could have easily not purchased any food at all and just gone up and grabbed food!!! Long lines!!! Unorganized!!! Overpriced!!! Too bad, too, as the brisket Mac and cheese was actually pretty good, but it was priced about two to three times as much as it should have been!!! read more

Good BBQ is hard to find!! We hired Da Big Show to cater my husband's surprise 40th birthday and we had the best experience. Brian and his wife were so helpful from scheduling a tasting to answering all of my questions to my last minute menu changes and all the way through delivery. The food from Da Big Show is amazing. Everything was so well seasoned and full of flavor! All of our guests were raving about the food. Literally everything I got was cold and over cooked. The Mac and cheese tasted like buttered noodles, with not even a piece cheese to be seen. The brisket sandwich wasn't too bad , but it was cold and dry. The ribs were so cold and dry I can barely chew it, has the texture of leather. Seems like I got the cold leftovers nobody wanted. Wouldn't recommend this place or go back again. Shame on these people. Edit: Brian saw my review and had to mend this bad review. Really shows that these people care. He came through and made sure I got a proper meal for my family. Definitely went above and beyond. Also got to sample somethings I didn't try the first time. Eaten Da Big Show BBQ a couple times. Today I had the tri tip (juicy, packed full of flavor), ribs (cooked perfectly), and two sides of Mac and cheese (creamy). The Mac and cheese wasn't hot by the time I got home and I was afraid to hear it up. Still had good flavor and was creamy. Meat is cooked just right and the sauce is really good as well. Had we known the food truck was back in business for a month!! We were on our way to Raising Cane's in Menifee for their Mother's Day BOGO when we saw 2 food trucks. We could not believe our eyes!! We pulled over & called in our order of 2 Jerk Chicken Fries. The chicken was just as tender, juicy & flavorful. The garlic sauce at the bottom, just as good as we remember. However the fries itself were sad :( They were much thinner & tasted homemade before (they resembled a lot like my grandma's fries) & the ones served today are crinkled & commercial looking. They were quite soggy too. It'd be nice if we could get the previous style fries again, but we understand if it's not possible. when I went up to the truck, I admittedly was a little worried about how the meal was going to go. I don't have the best history with BBQ places, but I'm happy to say that this truck surprised me. I ordered the Tri-Tip Mac and Cheese with cilantro on top. After about 5 minutes the order came out, my biggest compliment to this restaurant is the great portion size, it is perfect for a quick work break lunch, isn't so big that you are struggling to finish your meal, but it isn't so small that you feel unsatisfied, it is the perfect amount. Tri-Tip was perfectly seasoned and the Mac and Cheese was a delight. The restaurant staff was a little new to the register and seem confused how to navigate the register, but I'm not gonna knock the staff too hard, they were working hard and did a good job overall on service. read more

Where do I start... our company had the truck come out to cater for the employees and needless to say it was a poor experience. Food was cold chicken wasn't cooked. See above reviews you'll get the picture. To my surprise Da Big Show reached out to us to redeem themselves from our previous experience. Unfortunately to no prevail. Now before I go bashing anyone I am open to the idea of a bad turn of events at the worst of times. Maybe this is just some bad luck on their part. And yes they are traveling a ways to serve. But if your going to call yourself a BBQ catering company have some time management and know how to properly prepare your food or at least inspect it before making it. I'm big into BBQing myself and not one piece of meat goes on the grill or leaves the grill or smoker unless it passes my expectations. The overall presentation was much better this time. Food was warm as you would expect it to be. Still not on time. From what I hear the ribs were good and the brisket slices were 70% fat and 30% flavorless meat. The sides looked good. I was the last one to get my plate and with the enticing smell emerging from my plate I was optimistic. Until.... just as I was going to take a seat one of my associates waved me down in discussed to find maggots in his chicken. I couldn't believe it myself. Further inspecting the piece sure enough a couple of healthy larva were enjoying Da Big Shows smoked chicken more than we were. So yeah... Da Big Show became Da Big joke of the day. We arranged Da Big Show a month in advance to cater our employee appreciation luncheon for 100 people. Bryan was told we were going to eat at 11:00am, Bryan said no problem and that they would be at our location around 8:30am to start setting up. We called twice after the initial booking to make sure everything was still on track, we were assured everything was good to go. Day of the event: We reached out to Bryan at 8:19am and again around 9:47am trying to find out when he would arrive. He stated he had hit some traffic but wasn't far away. He arrived at 10:18am and still had to set up, he said we would be eating around 11:15am. Once he actually started serving it was 11:32am. Very poor time management skills. Food: It was a cold and windy day in Beaumont but all the meat was cold. I was told by a few employees that their chicken was under cooked, I had ribs and brisket so I can't verify. The ribs were goo and I really liked the beans. They did not bring enough drinks for 100 people, they told us we would have sweet tea and peach tea. They actually brought about 50 20oz bottles of soda. We had to supply drinks for the rest of the people. We also had trays set aside for our second shift employees, unfortunately they didn't have any salad dressing or BBQ sauce because Da Big Show crew failed to leave it behind. Overall it was a fail on many levels and we will not be calling Bryan for his services again. Maybe the food is better at a fair or night market where he has plenty of time to set up. read more

Unfortunately the line moved very slow and although the food is advertised that it is made to order, we waited just under an hour for the food. I got full on food poisoning from the pulled pork last weekend. Took me out for 3 days.

This was probably some of the worst bbq I've had in a while. The meat was ok but way too much watery sauce and the brisket and tri tip were exactly the same. The wait was long to get the food. We ordered a combo but didn't get the cornbread on the side as advertised. We also ordered peach cobbler which was horrible! It looked like soup and tasted equally as unappealing, didn't even eat it and threw it away. Would never come here again but hopefully others will have a better experience. read more
