Nice little food truck we have had the pleasure of frequenting twice now at Peltzer Winery. I think they have changed their name to Baja eats - because there are no hotdogs currently on their menu. The food is good....I'm only going to say that I wish there were more options. It's really a taco and nacho truck that also serves fries. Maybe the menu is smaller now because of Covid. Hopefully they start making the dogs again, the pics of them look amazingly scrumptious- I wanna try them!!!! I love their carne asada fries, they are delicious! It was a hot dog wrapped in bacon with onions, tomatoes, chipotle and cream sauce. The hot dog was pretty tasty, but the bacon was a little undercooked for my taste. Overall it was a pretty tasty and filling hot dog. I though i would need more after one, but it was enough! The owner told us he came up with his own bun recipe and that it is made in a small bakery. The bun is definitely the star. It held up to all the toppings and was pillowy. I know the reviews are all 4 starts and up but I just expect a little more for a $7 or $8 hot dog. The buns are 5 star, the toppings are 5 star, the actual dog is 2 star (it's not Angus beef or Polish or anything of quality), I prefer even Costco's dogs more because it just tastes so much better. The service is a 4. While they're always friendly, if they run out or forget any ingredients listed on the menu, don't expect them to compensate for that in price. My daughter is a vegetarian so I was pleasantly surprised when they said they offer a veggie version of their dog with a cheese stuffed pepper and all the normal toppings. It was insane! So good.
