Have to say I was very disappointed with the sandwich I tried yesterday. I ordered the short rib on ciabatta. The meat had no flavor at all and the top bun was soggy so I had to remove it. My husband got the BBBLT he said it was ok but nothing impressive. You would think that BBBLT would mean you're getting a lot of bacon not 3 pieces. The food was definitely not worth the price. They were late getting to the winery by an hour then had to set up so this could have something to do it, not sure. I will say we have gotten their pulled pork sandwich and truffle fries on a previous visit and it was really good. read more

I visited this truck at Peltzer Winery after a good tasting at Bottaia and I will say, after all the wine I had, it was time to eat. The cashier recommended the short rib sandwich. Absolutely delicious! The bread was perfectly toasted with butter, the meat was plentiful and had great flavor. I would absolutely recommend it! We also had the Parmesan truffle fries and they were great. The food was great, the people working were great. It was an awesome experience. I eat at ALOT of food trucks, but this place is AMAZING... now it could be all the wine that I've had but even if that's the case it doesn't make up for the GREAT service I've experienced! Casey is so knowledgeable about the menu which is to be expected but what's not expected (especially in this climate) is his amazing personality and sense of humor which transcends further than anything that can be purchased and consumed! While I'd heard about Devilicious before, I actually tried out the brick and mortar version (opened recently in Temecula) first. The company has a couple of trucks rotating around SoCal, and I've seen this one at a few local events. They set up shop at the Black Market Brewing Company when I tried them. I won't compare their menu to the restaurant since the trucks came first, but they do offer the Old Town Burger specific to this area on their specials. I got the B.B.B.L.T (basically lots of bacon). Ordering was quick, Square payment a breeze, and the boat ready within 5 minutes after I ordered my drink inside. The bacon was thick and crispy, as was the perfectly grilled sourdough bread, and the egg just added to the flavor of their rich aioli. This is the kind of good stuff I expect from gourmet food trucks. With standard food truck prices, Devilicious have already made a name for themselves in town so lots of customers will flock over when their windows are up, especially when they situate at busy local watering holes. 3.75 read more

The company I worked for hired Devilicous food truck for company lunch a couple of times in the past. Despite their move to the inland empire, all the food truck listings in San Diego show that they're still available for business down here. The food has always been great. My issue is with COMMUNICATION. My wife works for a Skilled Nursing facility here in La Mesa. They were tired of the same taco trucks, Hawaiian food and BBQ catering they've hired in the past. I suggested Devilicous to them because of how awesome our experience was with them, so facility management tried to reach out. NO ANSWER OR RESPONSE. My wife also tried to reach out, no answer or response. I even tried to tweet them, messaged them on social media platforms. NO answer or RESPONSE. A simple yes or no would have been appreciated. People were holding out on getting that awesome experience I hyped up to the administrator of the facility, and to my wife and her team. Now they're trying to find a new option and potentially settle for something rather than look forward to their celebration. If you're only serving Murrieta and the inland empire, they're lucky to have you. read more

Food on Front St...Great. Food Truck at our Son/Daughter-in-Law's wedding...not so much! Promised fast service...DIDN'T get it. Paid for xtra staff...asked them to clear tables between serving...DIDN'T get it....was actually told NO! AND...DID NOT get the food as the restaurant served it! Wow, we're at Refuge Brewery's 10th Anniversary and Devilicious Food Truck is here. We were first introduced to this food truck at this very same brewery so seeing them here today is awesome. The Smoked Pork Belly grilled sandwich is amazing! The explosion of balsamic vinegar Brussels sprouts on your first bite is awesome. The smoked pork belly is flavorful and the melted cheese, nicely grilled sourdough bread made this one of the best sandwiches I've had in awhile. If you don't try this sandwich, it's your loss. read more

The food was good but not great. It's a little bit on the pricey side for the portion size. If I'm spending $$ I like to be stuffed. Not impressed. My company hired them to cater our celebration for our newest launch. First of all, the girl taking my order EXTREMELY RUDE!!! Not sure if it's because i didn't look like her (white and blonde) that she was very rude and unpleasant to me. She was very nice to the other tall blonde ladies in front of me. I ordered the "cheese steak".....it's SUPPOSED to come with 3 pieces of rib eye steak and provolone and some other ingredients.....when i got it, it didn't have provolone and the meat portion was extremely disappointing (and if yelpers don't believe me check out my picture)...if you want business make a good impression, don't rip people off!! Then, there was no ice and the Diet Coke they had left was warm (mind you, it's 85 degrees outside). Lastly, that was all they had left was diet coke!!! The food here is pretty good. I always make sure to order the truffle fries. They are pretty bomb! The lobster grilled cheese is good as well. I'm not that big on lobster, but it is definitely worth a try if lobster is something you crave. The food is served pretty fast. The workers are nice. They have other interesting items on their menu that I've always wanted to try but never did. The prices are decent for a gourmet food truck. It's not that expensive but it's not cheap either. Overall, I'd recommend trying this place out. They have a pretty good selection and the truffle fries are a must! They also have devil fries that are fries with like spices seasoned on top. Now I don't know about yall, but I consider beer to be FOOD. And this dinner was delicious! The Elysian Punkaccino was my favorite (just like a beer cappuccino should be). The Steamy Hollow was decent; light but flavorful. I LOVED the Old Fashioned. And the Gourdfather was interesting with characteristics I couldn't quite place. Thank you Devilicious for the Elysian tap takeover (they'll serve until taps kick). As for the food food (because Elysian isn't representative of Devilicious), the onion rings were okay. I'm not a fan of over seasoning and the seasoning salt on top was a bit excessive. My dining partner wasn't a fan of the wings. He wanted sauce instead of dry rub, and thought it wasn't spicy enough. We had food from them before (at the Shamrock Festival). I ordered a corned beef sandwich, which was really delicious. The fries had too much seasoning (seems to be a thing). The wait was FOREVER but they were quick to take it and got it right, which is important. Today's visit was well done by our server, who was attentive and helpful. Happened upon this food truck while wine tasting at Peltzer and I am so glad that I did because the food is OUTSTANDING. I ordered a lobster grilled cheese and it had huge chunks of lobster meat and the bread was perfectly grilled. My friends and I shared the Philly cheesesteak Fries and everything was perfect from the crispiness of the fries, the spicy mayo, cuts of meat and mushrooms - my mouth is melting just thinking of it. Got to try Devilicious for the first time while in Temecula, at Peltzer Winery, where they were parked for the afternoon. The food was SO good! The chicken in the buffalo chicken melt was so tender, and I loved the tang that the blue cheese crumbles offered to the sandwich. The truffle fries were exactly the kind of fries I love! Kinda like McDonalds fries, long, skinny, crispy, warm, and these actually had decent amount of truffle flavor (where usually it's hard to get the truffle flavor at other places that offer truffle fries), and they were covered in tons of Parmesan cheese. The short rib melt was delicious! Again, super tender and flavorful meat, and the bread was perfect. Warm, soft, and chewy on the inside but crispy on the outside. I highly recommend! This place has great seasoned fries also known as the devil dusted fries savory but sweet and a bit spicy. My favorite from here would be the lobster grilled cheese it's absolutely amazing and mouthwatering. The asparagus grilled cheese is pretty good too the goat cheese compliments it. Ordered BBBLT sandwich, excited about the sunny side up egg component. Paid, waited, received food sans egg. I informed the worker who nonchalantly said, "oh we don't have eggs today. Is that ok?" For us, it wasn't. Egg was the unique unifier and whole point of ordering the sandwich. I asked for a refund and the worker begrudging, almost rudely, without a word or an apology gave me my money back. Terrible customer service. They went to an event that I was attending. They were supposed to open at 11am. At 11:10am I asked when they were going to open they said soon. Multiple times when people asked they said five minutes. They finally opened at 11:50am. They had forgot the fryers and we saw them finally deliver them. Just tell us it is going to be a long time and we could leave. I was ok waiting if the food had been good. They had two items for this event and both were very bland and boring.
