Hot pastrami on a wheat bread with everything on it!!!! Best sandwich ever. Very heavy with lots of meat. I like to ask for extra oil and vinegar on the side. Service is always nice and they are quick. This location also is connected to a baskin robins. Lots of seating. Togos is consistently delicious! They are slightly on the pricier side, however their sandwiches are made well and without skimping ingredients. They charge extra for cheese, which is a little annoying, but the large 9 inch is huuuge. It's a beast of a sandwich. Hearty for sure. You definitely get what you're paying for here. I came in today, Sunday, with my family and was pleasantly surprised to meet one of the owners. He was kind and personable. He even made our sandwiches! Seeing the owner roll up his sleeves and get to work was definitely a green flag. If you're looking for a filling sandwich that "hits the spot" look no further. Their catering is decent as well, we might consider them for our party later this month. Their tall counter doesn't allow you to see them while making your sandwich, which might be frustrating for some regarding customizations. Overall Togos is one of my favorite sandwich places that I hit once or twice a month when I want a satisfying meal that will leave me with a full belly. Popped in to grab a late dinner on a Friday evening. I really wasn't expecting much as I recently stopped patronizing this Togo's in lieu of Submarina mainly because this location was run by teenage girls who really didn't care much about making edible sandwiches. To my surprise and delight, my experience this time was fantastic. The young lady who made my sandwiches knew exactly what she was doing. There was no "slapping together" of sandwiches here. Her quick precise movements reflective of muscle memory indicate a level of dedication to quality. Usually the product you receive looks nothing like the pictures on the wall but in this case real life looked better than the pictures, at least before the sandwich disappeared into my mouth. I went to this Togos located in Temecula. The one in San Diego closed down about a year ago. I really missed their pastrami subs. Today, I was given $10.00 credit for my birthday to purchase anything. I decided on the 9in. Pastrami sub. I must say that when I saw all of that juicy pastrami being loaded on the bread , I started salivating. I paid the difference of $6.00 to get a larger sub, and it was well worth it. I stopped into TOGO's sandwiches because I could've sworn they had a poke bowl on their online menu ‍‍ when I ordered one, the girl at the counter asked," what's a poke bowl?"! I've been going to Togo's since the first one opened near San Jose State University in the early 1970's. If you were from the Bay Area, you went to Togos, everyone went to Togo's. They served the best subs anywhere! Over the years Togos popped up everywhere up north. And then you started seeing a few of them down here in Southern California. They all served the same great food, that kept you coming back for more. But, over the past 10 years or so Togo's has taken a drop in the food they serve. Sandwiches have gotten smaller, the prices, of course have gotten larger. And it's just not the same quality as it once was. We have temporarily relocated to Menifee in order to take care of my elderly father. Imagine our surprise when we came across a Togo's in Temecula, late one evening while we were looking for somewhere to grab a quick bite. My wife ordered her usual number 16 on center cut bread, and I ordered the hot barbecue beef wrap that I once loved so well. Imagine our surprise when we unwrapped our fare to find the Togo's sandwiches from our years gone by. Both the sandwiches were made just right. They were packed with a good quantity and quality of meat and vegetables, and the right amount of sauces. I guess Togo's in Temecula never got the message to start cutting the quality of their sandwiches. Came to store at around 9:15 and it was still locked no one inside. and then a girl finally showed up and was not welcoming or friendly just seemed in a rush. these sandwiches are not cheap so when I order them I expect for a sandwich worth the $$$. instead I get a messy sandwich with avocado spread on only half of it. I ordered two subs via uber eats. Nearly 30 minutes after I placed the order, the store called to inform me that they were out of turkey. I requested another sub that included avocado, only for my order to arrive hot, without avocado and dry. Upon calling the store I was told that there was essentially nothing they could do & I wasn't able to receive a remake or refund. The employee stated that there's new people working who couldn't follow orders. They also told me that there is no one above them I could speak to and that a manager is not at the store, even throughout the week. Went to Togos Temecula drove 30 mins since Togos are scarce everywhere. Ordered my usual #24 and half an Asian chicken salad once everything was prepared the young staff at Togos informed me that there was no chicken for the Asian salad. I asked if I could get a discount because I don't see a point of paying full price for it. She went to the back took a while back there just to let me know there's nothing they can do. Not sure why it took more than 10 minutes to get that response. Shame they lost a customer over a 1 dollar discount. I would have been ok with any discount. So this was a never will I ever post. Today I decided to go to Togo's for lunch and when I first arrived, it was a two people that was behind the counter. One was on the phone. When was preparing a large order. I waited the young man that was on the telephone he got off the phone and he said I'll be right with you. Then he proceeded to go over to where the lady was getting the order together, then went over to the Baskin-Robbins and decided to get a smoothie and went back thinking that he would've asked me if I was ready to order. No he didn't do that. He decided to ask the two white women that walked into restaurant if they were ready to order like I never existed. I think that he was in the wrong and I explained it to his sarcastic ass manager, and he was no help at all. Everyone deserves to be treated with respect and today this is not what happened. It really bothers me when you're willing to pay full price you tip the driver you pay for the membership and everything but you get half of your food just cause you order out. Not sure why this location has such bad reviews! I've been coming here more frequently since I moved to Murrieta last year, and it is worth it every time! Majority of the staff are super nice and always put a smile on my face! I've never had a bad sandwich here. My go to is usually the tuna but I do love to try other things when given a chance. I have been frequenting this sandwich shop in Temecula for 20 years. Always order the same thing - the #16 Italian sandwich. Never fails to impress. A few times the owner has made the sandwich himself and -wow! It's extra good. It's the perfect blend of mortadella, salami, cold cuts and then you add in all the extra yummy toppings. Culminating with salt & pepper on top and a dash of the Italian vinaigrette. Love this place. In fact I can say that no other sandwich place comes close. I have always loved Togo's sandwiches and was super happy to find one not too far after moving to Riverside County after living for many years in places without a Togo's nearby. The staff has always been super friendly and professional and the sandwiches are as delicious as I remember, (though I am still a little bitter about them changing a #4 from Ham and Salami to Turkey and Cranberry. It's probably been nearly 30 years, but I'm still not over it lol). I have always loved Togo's. But, now it seems like they only make the sandwich correctly if I walk in to the store. The last few times I have ordered through a delivery service, they always screw it up. This time when I asked for mustard on my order, they didn't put any on it and the sandwich was completely dry. This location is horrible, they constantly run out of product, even after only being open for 2 hours. Their Signature Meats are Pastrami and Turkey, yet they constantly have no Pastrami and even have run out of Turkey. Which either means their not prepping enough, or someone doesn't know how to order properly. Either way, when your the only Togo's in a 25 to 50 mi radius, your not doing a very good job representing the Togo's Brand. read more
