Wouldn't give this place a single star. The food here is disgusting. I really tried eating it and giving it a chance since I paid $50 for 2 small portioned plates. Hummus had a bitter taste, pita bread was cold and chicken tasted weird. I don't know why I kept eating it but the more I did the more uneasy I felt. Not to mention the server and cook looked very unhygienic. Very disappointing. Never coming back

Not sure how this place is still In business. The food is horrible. The interior is dirty and just a mess. I got two plates to go and both were thrown away. My wife's salad had a big in it.

Dirty table the whole time we were there

Stopped in here for a quick bite to eat while in the area. I know this place has been here for a long time now, but I had never been before. The young girl behind the counter was very friendly, and recommended a shish tawook sandwich, which was a chicken pita sandwich with tomatoes, onion and pickles. We also ordered 2 bottled drinks - a Diet Pepsi and an iced tea. The total for one sandwich and 2 drinks was around $22, which seemed kind of pricey. While we waited for my sandwich another customer came up to us and asked if my tea was expired because theirs was past the expiration date. Mine was not expired, but my husband's Pepsi was expired. We decided not to say anything, but noticed that upon being notified by the other customer the employee started to pull several drinks from the refrigerator and put them in a bag, which lead us to believe they were all expired. The place is bigger than I expected, with it also being a small market specializing in Middle Eastern products. The restaurant seemed quite dated inside and could definitely use a good cleaning. There was a table that had not been cleaned up since we got there which made the place look messy. Normally, I wouldn't have ordered anything if a place did not appear clean, but I took a chance anyway. My sandwich was smaller than I expected, and while it wasn't bad, there was nothing special about it. Aside from the pita, I couldn't tell you what was Mediterranean about it. I would definitely go elsewhere for Mediterranean in the area.

The food is still pretty good, although not cheap. Unfortunately, this place needs a deep clean. There is a slight smell of mold or something from the sewer and they desperately need to deep clean the restaurant. The tables, chairs and floors are so dirty they all have a sticky residue on them. You can see that they never mop correctly, they don't move tables or chairs. I can't eat here anymore until they clean the restaurant. Even the windows are filthy. Also, it's a hot day today, in the 80s and they don't have any AC on. Such a bummer.

Pathetic sandwich

This use to be a great place but current owners have run it to the ground. I won't be going back. Chicken shawarma wraps are now $13 and have almost no chicken at all and next to no tomatoes and not a single onions

Meat looked like dried up steak ums. Gross!

Unsanitary and the gyro meat was old, dry, and barely existent. Place needs a visit from the health inspector imo too.

Hummus is creamy and delish

Ahhmazing. .. let's start with the food. And not only the value but the taste. I got a chicken kabob meal with hummus. My husband got the beef with French fries. Oh M G. It was all super yummy. I know yummy sounds ridicules but it really was yummy. And filling. With a side salad. The dressing with delightful. Oh did I mention there is a little market in the building. Does no one know about this ahhmazingness going on in that building? And the service was fantastic. The girl that took our order and served us and helped us in the market. She needs a raise. For real! She was great. The cook was out of this world sweet. Like all of the experience was fantastic. Temecula is sleeping on this little jewel. If you haven't made it to this joint you all missing out! Did I mention the hummus!!!!!!!!! Omg ok I have said too too much. Just got try it already. ******* 10 stars ******

The best thing on their menu, the garlic sauce. Lol, I'm a garlic lover.
Veevz K.

The food here is soooo good. We usually grab togo and even after a twelve min drive home, the food is still so bomb. If you love garlic, the garlic sauce is a must. If you like spicy, the spicy hummus is chef's kiss. I've tried a lot of items on the menu but I always go back to the grilled bone-in chicken leg quarters. The lamb shank is good too! We ordered this right before closing and the only thing I didn't like was the pita but I still ate it all lol The flavors; I can eat this everyday. Yum!!!

Avgolemono. Not good.

Soo fresh and delicious!…read more I've been eating so much junk food lately so just had a need to eat something healthy, hoping it would be delicious too, ohhh my gosh, it was. I binged on a YouTube channel where this guy made Arabic food. He had a video of him making hummus. Well, of course, I started craving hummus and pita after that. I ordered a gyro plate and salad. It also came with some hummus that wasn't listed on their menu so it was a happy surprise. I also ordered hummus and it was as creamy as the one on YouTube looked. All so yummy, well spiced and totally delicious. Because I ordered it delivered I didn't see what the place looked like inside. I plan to go there though so will update then. .

Portions were generous, and prices are extremely reasonable! The gyro was phenomenal, and I really enjoyed the tzatziki on it. All sandwiches come with fries, and they were not only crinkle cut but also fried perfectly. They were still crispy even as a take out order! The flavor of the Greek salad was savory, tangy, and refreshing. The hummus was also *chef's kiss*. We were more than satisfied with our order! We phoned in our order, and it was ready in 15 minutes. The owner was so sweet and attentive! He noticed we were missing our hummus and pita and made sure we got it before finishing up packing our order. Please do you and your tastebuds a favor and try Al-Reef. I just wish we lived closer!

I started with the lentil soup, which was rich and comforting, then moved on to an appetizer combo of falafel, kibbeh, and lahme bajin. Everything was delicious. I wasn't a huge fan of the molasses on top of the kibbeh and would've loved a bit more tahini, but even then it was still excellent and hardly worth complaining about. I also ordered the chicken kebab plate, and I have to say, the salad dressing was simple yet easily one of the best I've had in a long time. The rice tasted like true homemade, family-style cooking, which I really appreciated. And the lahme bajin? So good that I ordered six more to go. Absolutely worth a visit.

I was hoping the leftover falafel would taste better the next day, but sadly, it didn't. Chicken and beef kabob were decent. Kinda bummed how they didn't have some sort of combo bowl. You'd have to buy extra meat if you wanted to try different meats together. The extras and sides were quite pricey, too. We also tried a variety of flatbreads. The spinach and cheese was our favorite. We liked the zataar one, and the meat with jalapenos was just ok. The thick creamy garlic sauce went well with the thin, crispy flatbreads, while the runny white sauce tasted bland and slightly bitter (unpleasant with everything, to be honest). Overall, the food is fine, but I wouldn't go again. A few tables were available inside the small, simple-looking shop, but it felt a bit awkward eating there. Staff were not very attentive, but once we got their attention, they were helpful.

The tabbouleh is awesome - this is pretty much identical to mine so of course I would love it. The first time I came, I got the spicy falafel; The second time I got the regular. Just based on those two visits, I would recommend the regular. The spicy wasn't actually really spicy, and the patties were almost burnt. It tells you how good everything was that I still came back though. Second visit I got the regular patties and I really really enjoyed the bowl. Every ingredient is fresh and delicious, tahini is great, and there's a shaker of zataar for seasoning on the counter. Great prices, great owner, great food. Big thumbs up. Gotta try one of the fresh made flatbreads or wraps next time.

We opted for the dinner package, which came with choices of 3 cold appetizers, 3 hot appetizers, salad, 3 choices of meat, and rice for $55 per person plus tax and gratuity. The belly dancing show started at 8:30pm and was entertaining. The dancer really engaged with the audience. I was sitting in a far corner and thought I was hidden from her view, but she came over, started dancing next to me, and got me to do a slight shimmy along with her. It was fun. My only complaint is the waitress was a bit much. We already ordered a lot of food, mind you, but every opportunity she had, she kept pushing to order more and then mentioned there would be an extra charge. She also wanted to charge us for 8 people even though we had 7 people at the table.

Before you visit, keep these things in mind: 1. This is a ghost kitchen, not a full-service restaurant. It's best for takeout and delivery. There are only a few chairs outside--just four in total. 2. Ordering is entirely self-service via a digital kiosk, with no staff on hand to assist you. 3. There are no bathrooms available anywhere on-site. Regarding the food, it was just okay-- a bit underwhelming, especially given that Lebanese cuisine is typically so flavorful. The chicken was dry, the hummus lacked depth, and the rice was bland. That said, the fattoush salad, one of my favorites, was very good, with a delicious dressing. Overall, I can't say I'd return. The prices were quite high for the portions, and the quality didn't meet my expectations.
